That’s the thing the, even highly toxic and negative characters have massive following like for example Mir Hadi or even Sultan, characters like Farhad who are not realistic and has a emotional steak and are self destructive still has massive following, and then there are white characters like Taimoor or even Ahem ji in gopi nahi who are only troll worry for audience, so it again depends on what entices the viewers.
if you start reasoning based on how morally good or bad a character is then obviously that’s not how it works, actors and to an extent writing makes us connect and fall for characters and root for them, I’m glad that some people root for T but I don’t think so I’m just someone who would end up caring much about a forced third wheel who’s entire purpose in the story was just to die 😆

And you said that you sympathize with T because of Zain that only means it’s still not the character but the actor who’s making you sympathize with him.

Isnt that how rishtas are done in real life? You see someone, feel attracted to them and ask for rishta. I have seen people getting married after seeing each other for the first time at a wedding or function and having a liking for the other person, so they send their parents to ask for the alliance. It happens all the time in Pakistan.

So many guys in UK from our social circle have gone to Pakistan and saw a girl at a wedding, sent alliance and got married.

Why can a guy from London not be attracted to a local girl in Pakistan or even a village girl? Aisa kahan likha hai that they only fall in love with foreign girls? Kuch bhi🤔

I even know about a guy who studied in Cambridge, yet he went back and got married to his maid's daughter. Ab usko bhi joker bol do.

Good to know that a foreign return well established high profile person married a house maid because when Farhad wanted to win Mahi’s love, people thought he’s fantasy and these things don’t happen in reality. However, it’s rare and yes house maids or drivers like Farhad obviously are delusional to think that their masters will ever consider them to be equivalent leave alone falling in love with or getting married with. In Farhad’s defense, he saw Mahi more as a friend and not as a rich brat unless she showed it to him with all her strength.

Nobody knows what Mahi feels 😆 I won't be surprised if suddenly she tells us that she loved Farhad but married taimoor bec of family ..writing is very poor . No monologues no clarity.

I didn't see the initial eepisodes but I read all the updates and reviews...Mahi did commit a mistake but aisa kuch nai ke ke kisi ko itna bada dhokha ho...she herself said ke she never mentioned love or, made any promises of love in reply to which Farhad said maine toh tumhari aankhon mein dekha tha..toh ye Mahi ki galti nai thi na? I know Farhad ke saath galat hua but his delusion also played a part in it . Plus if she didn't wanna marry him it's her choice. Dil todna galat tha but baddua dena usse bhi zyada galat.

Whatever was shown to us , Mahi's feelings were not clear but she was clearly happy to marry taimoor. When his rishta came , when he came to see her , in flashbacks also she was happy. So I don't have a reason to think that she was "conflicted" even.

I agree with Charu, had Mahi given more clarity and monologues we wouldn’t be this confused. It seemed like she was happy to marry Taimoor and then again she says the iddat is show off and she died with Farhad.
