So I haven't read the novel which AMEK is supposedly based on but my experience tells me that the televised adaptations never stay true to the so called source material so I won't be worrying about the novel or the future as of now😆 So my two cents are going to be purely on the basis of what I watch onscreen.

I watched not only Mustajab's but Dua's teaser as well multiple times and both of them left me intrigued albeit in different ways. First and foremost,everything around the two characters highlighted the stark contrast between their personalities. One is pragmatic to the bone striving relentlessly to win in a world where the big fish eats the smaller ones whereas the other seems to be at peace with herself,seeking solace in divinity,unaffected by the cacophony of the world. One exudes materialism which is evident from his surroundings whereas spiritualism is what resonates to the other. This is the reason why while Mustajab's teaser tends to stir and excite us,Dua's teaser will leave us with a soothing vibe. The equation that they are going to share already has my attention. It does not seem like yet another tale of romance but a clash of differing ideologies,value systems and schools of thought. I really want Dua and Mustajab to have discussions and,even a friendly argument or two, about their ways of thinking because it would be fascinating for the audience to understand how the two dogmas,while on the opposing sides of the spectrum,are each valid in their own right.

Secondly,I do not subscribe to the idea of labelling stories,pairings or characters as "toxic" which,in my honest opinion,is a term that has not only been overused but even exhausted lately to such an extent that that the gravity of what it actually stands for has been reduced completely. Be it a book,film,show or character,I prefer to form concrete opinions after finishing them because I believe if we reach to a conclusion in the very beginning,we are unable to enjoy the story in its entirety.

The OST left me craving for the complete version. If I am not wrong then it is Shani Irshad whose vocals are delightful. As far the rest of it is concerned then I have no complaints for Geo is second to none when it comes to production value.

As you have already mentioned that, what caught me was the stark contrast between the ideologies, that burning rose and the dice board depicting that Mustajab can burn everything in his ishq /mohabbat while he believes it is no wrong to win his object of affection with 'planning' whereas Dua says that everything happens only by God's will, depicting that even if Mustajab wins her it is only by God's will.

Also, I do not know why we are not talking much about the last shot of Feroze's teaser, the walk with blood stains all over him, it was bone chilling, such a cold moment I swear, I am dreading that shot, I fear to see that honestly. The man is just too good onscreen, if the teaser is like this, I wonder the performance in the show.

Yes, the OST is sung by Shani Arshad, Asim and Feroze had a banter in Instagram which made fans think it was Asim but it is not him..LOL

I think I can tolerate a sad ending or even if he does not win the girl, if that is actually deserving, Like I was alright with Khaani's ending, the ending was how it should have been, but with both Ishqiya and KAM3, the tragedies with both Hamza and Farhad, how fair was it? Hamza's love for Rumi was not a lie, he came clean, he tried to redeem himself, never abused her, nor did he harm her, the punishment was bigger than his mistake, and Farhad, well let me not even start, if I would have a genie, I would beg to erase Farhad's memory so that he could forget Mahi and go for a happier future, the death was so cruel. I disliked Mahi till the end, the worst job of a writer was done when the female lead died of heart break and I still disliked her. WOW..

Coming back to Mustajab, I am quite sure, he has a back story and a huge motive to do what he will do, he believes in planning and he is torn from inside given his monologue in the teaser, also I could see signs of vengeance in him, if anything he is doing with the dice board and the burning rose, then it is gamble due to vengeance and not in mohabbat.

He actually got ladki in Geo drama Dil Kya kare and Romeo Weds Heer, also he got ladki in Ary Drama Tumse milkey and Hum drama WOh aik paal, it is just his iconic characters, Adeel, Mir Hadi, Hamza, and Farhad did not get the girls, hence the national out burst and hunger strikes on Feroze ko ladki dedo 🤣
