Concept or stort wise Ishqiya is better but jalan's execution was good and there was no dragging in if but in ishqiya they dragged the story.

I agree that showing bad guys being forgiven or redeemed sends a bad message.. on the other hand bad girls don't have such endings: either they die, or become mental.🤪 Little do they end up alone or redeem themselves.🤔

Exaclty there is no redemption for girls but boys always get sympathy in the end of turned positive.

I feel that affairs with Mehrams are forbidden on a different level. There is trust and dignity in it. Women in islam can be free in front of them ( I do not follow islam, so correct me if I am wrong). Whereas for all other men, women are advised to be cautious.

So even extra marital affairs are wrong, there is no reason to ban them.

Sad but SO SO true. Its same in real life, women gets punished but men are forgiven after some time. idk why not have same standards for them.

Only saving grace in ishqia is SIL is not ok with blackmailer BIL. Jalan, they both are scums of highest order.

@Bold: But the punishment will not be enough. In dramas such women will either die, go mad or become poor. But more than them good people suffer. After this no matter is misha stays married to cheap husband or moves on with another guy, she will always have trust issues. Misha will think 1000 times before even hiring a maid. That level of mental pressure and stress is more like punishment than what nisha type character gets.

They shouldn't have banned pyar ke sadqay. Mahjabeen never reciprocated sarwars advances, rather she fought with him. This is the message given..to fight against such evils...temptations and not indugle in affairs or keep quite.

You are right. With mehrams you must feel safe. You still have to have limits of freedom infront of BIL, coz he is a temporary mehram.😳

Yes. We can't judge dramas by Islamic rules. Warna there'll be no worthwatching drama.😆

Yes there are restrictions in all relations. Even with fathers and brothers there are limits that you cant cross in name of modernization. But any girl will feel safe with Mehrams.

Main thing is that in Jalan it was mutual and from both side.
