I love Zahid and Affan too . Zahid a little bit more, because of his versatility. Affan and Zahid too did wrong by accepting to do MNJ. The director worked with Affan in Gustakh Dil which was like a collection of cut scenes. Here the director kept every scene he shot which made this drama over boring. 🥱

I didn't watch the whole drama. But I saw some piwerfull acting by Zahid in anger scenes. He made me feel his pain. Affan did well as the villain, I loved the kidnap scene. His performance was mindblowing . 👏

Yes zahid acting was not upto the mark in mnj and even in izn ... in mnj i agree he did poor acting in initial episodes of a blind man but in later episodes his acting was fab especially in his confrontation scenes his acting overshadowed affans

plus you need to keep in mind that Nain wasnt blind since birth, he lost his sight later in life and those kind of people do look more normal...its harder to tell that they are blind

No one has said that Zahid is some incredible actor who deserves some Oscar for his acting. I don't understand what made this newbie to say that this is Zahid Ahmed forum, but I have rarely seen people appreciating him. Affan is someone who is being appreciated by more people especially in this forum.

I do agree that Zahid goes over board few times with his theater kind of acting but we should not forger that major part of his acting career, he has spent doing theater. It's easy to learn acting but to make a transition from theatre acting to drama acting isn't that easy and that's why many theatre artists don't make it to drama and movies. And Zahid himself has accepted this.

And I don't understand when both actors aren't of same level to even to compare according to the newbie, then why personally attacking people by comparing those two actors again and again and proving who is a better actor.

There are other threads where Affan is the lead, instead of showing so much hatred, focus on appreciating your favourite in those thread. I don't see anyone disliking Affan. The world knows it. Not one has to go on each comment to justify who is better and who isn't.

I apologize to the people here for overreacting aa I feel this forum is more positive.

I am glad how heavenlybliss replied in a very sane way, that's called constructive criticism, not personally attacking to prove your point of view.

Firstly, zahid is not my "favourite"....why are you putting words into my mouth which i never even said?

Secondly, i am visually impaired myself and lost my vision later in life (i am not blind though) but trust me i have worked with many blind/visually impaired people and can tell the difference

Another thing to keep in mind is that the majority of blind people who lose their sight later in life ARE NOT COMPLETELY BLIND...They do have to use walking canes to get here and there with support but they still do have a bit of vision. Its not like the world is black around them.

I am really surprised at the amount of criticism, sorry 'uncalled for criticism'. The show was bad from all angles. Nobody NOBODY slayed I felt. It was a total disaster.

Also, nobody is criticising the actors in particular at all here. It was a poor choice on their part. But why is Zahid being attacked so brutally.

If you hate him so much and can't tolerate him you can well ignore him and definitely not spew venom. I personally do not like Affan at all be it look wise or acting wise. Mnj is the only show I have seen of his ever and hopefully that will be the last. Neither his looks nor his acting skills encouraged me to watch any other show of his. And that's okay. Since it was apparently a bad show it could be wrong to judge him but I don't want to watch so it should be okay. And people are entitled to their choices. But that doesn't mean I will go and attack and say horrible things about this person. He must have worked hard to get where he is and therefore people like him. So he must have done some good work must have some magic whatever that pulls people. I personally love Zahid, my mother loves him. Infact everyone at my house does.

There is a difference between constructive criticism and criticism done to put people down. This is a complete attack. He may not have been his best in mnj. May not have been convincing at all as a blind man. But I feel he did pretty good in ishq zahnaseeb. I wonder if anyone else could have played Sameera with such poise. Most people would end up looking ridiculous. But he was very convincing. The show at the end was dragged and not executed properly so in that respect the performances may have dropped.

I have never seen such a negative response here. People criticise but not like this. These are more like appreciation threads and mind you those who appreciate also have a right to point out the parts that were not upto the mark. But such a response. O god seems as though Zahid personally attacked her in some way. Lockdowns got some people real crazy. Chill.

Looks like the hater kind. You can't like everyone and vice versa. So that means I will knock at each of their doors and list things I think are bad about them? What a waste of time and effort. I would rather channel it towards appreciating things I like.

I did notice that she is attacking heavenly. So unnecessary. And seems to have been done purposefully.

Here criticism are done but they don't feel like attacks. But these are like idk hate posts.

When she realized people are gonna report her she said she won't be commenting henceforth omlol 😂😂 + I don't understand people who say Zahid was totally bland as Sameer/Sameera. I respect opinions. I really do but this particular argument is beyond my comprehension. Boy played dual starring roles, both of which were entirely different from each other and required completely different skill sets as an actor. I forgot I was watching the same man at times. Speaking of layers, it's truly impressive how he brought all facets of Sameer to life; a staid Sameer, a vehement Sameer, a romantic Sameer, a child Sameer, and a facetious Sameera. And esp the way he switched from Sameer to Sameera like dude that was exemplary. Both are diametrically different from each other and he played them so well tbqpfh that when he's Sameera he doesn't let you see a little bit of Sameer in there or vice versa. He really invests the role with the kind of assumed danger and to-the-balcony theatricality that Momina and Moomal or any other producer has in mind when they sign his checks. Why would you take a big risk with an actor who doesn't know his craft? Now don't say he bribes the producers too 😂😂
