The way Maya got to work with imran Abbas ahsan hamza abbasi and a few other newcomers like emaad irfani in ranjish hi sahi ...I wud love to see obi with the new gen actresses like arij sanam Jung yumna naveen waqar rabab sumbul Sarah Khan or even a Saba qamar and ayesha khan given how zahid rocked with them inspite of them being seniors...obi can too

Whereas others r tensed about what hareems role will b in sanam or whether she will be the kebab mein haddi between osmaya...I m super duper excited to see her with obi as a pair ...I m actually looking forward to seeing hareem obi together in sanam as much as osmayas come back as I m a huge hareem fan now after watching MHMD in zindagi recently...good lord she killed it there man in her very first show

Sanam baloch isn't doing dramas since kankar

So as long as she stars in a drama with anyone I will be happy

So true Abby. Would love to see him work with other actresses. The only exception would be Yumna and Urwa. Also not Sajal. She looks so young like a teenager! like 16 or 17 years of age lol. She fit her role in behaad 😆 but that's just my opinion!

What projects are you currently up to?

I'm actually in the process of pre-production and casting for my debut movie. After I shoot the film, there's a mega serial lined up, it's written by Farhat Ishtiaq. We've already shot another serial called Sanam, that'll go on air in a couple of months.

What caused the delay for your serial Sanam?

We wanted to give some gap between Diyar-e-Dil and Sanam as it stars Osman Khalid Butt and Maya Ali in leading roles as well. So immediately another serial with the same couple and team, wouldn't have created the buzz. But now people are dying to see them both, so it'll start airing in a couple of months.

It's a unique love story, with a totally different package. Sanam stars Osman and Maya alongside Hareem Farooq, Hina Bayat, Munawar Siddiqui, and we've also shot a special appearance of Abid Ali. And it's always a fun ride working with a team that's more like family. I'm sure it'll be able to offer something new to the table.
