Ingredients:
1 cup sprouted moong dal
1/2 cup cucumber chopped into cubes (remove seeds)

1 green chillie chopped
1 onion chopped
4 strands of coriander leaves chopped
1/4 tsp of pepper powder
lime juice to taste
salt to taste

Method:
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Toss well.
Chill and serve for lunch.

This is how my mum makes Kavi and add deep fried brinjals/ potatoes/onions etc. The one I told you about the other day. Thanks Kavi👏

I tried the Rava pongal this weekend. I have never had rava pongal before. This was unique. My husband said when he put it in his mouth, he was expecting to taste upma, but instead he got pongal taste. We really enjoyed this dish. Thanks for the recipie.

I also tried the Malabar chicken over the weekend and that came out well too. We had it with rasam for lunch and chapathis for dinner. Thank you for the recipie.

Priya.. those burfis on the plate looks so beautiful and I love coconut burfis, well anything made with Coconut!! 😉

Kavi... Aahaa .. Rava payasam, Rava Pongal,... Wow... so many items using Rava.. I can see Joyfully smiling (and dancing) Sue Akka on the side!! 😆

Thanks Supree for the curd vada recipe.
Your presentation looks very beautiful.

My M.I.Law used to soak the fried vadas in
very light mooru instead of water.

Btw, why do you need to soak the vadais? I mean when you add the curd, it would be soaked wouldn't?
