Yes Supree I do remember you mentioning the ready-made rawa iddli packs but I wanted to know how to make it with the normal rawa and ulunthu. I don't like sour iddlis or dosas so I never add any cooked rice. 😛

Anyhow, lets wait for our Kavi to give us some tips on it. Of course I do love to see the mini iddli moulds if you could oblige. Advance thanks to you..!!😆

I too love milk sweet, actually any sweet, 😃 as long as it's not made with too much ghee! Ghee iruntha taste-than, ana athukooda alavoda irunthathan enakku pidikkum! But moththathula Nan-um Oru Sweet Piriyai than! 😃

The recipe for my milk sweets may not be any different from yours I guess! Because I too made mine with the same ingredients you had listed and in Microwave! Infact I had given this recipe a while ago.... check out this link to read more........ http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=607599&T PN=4

All I did is, added some pink color and cut them into heart shapes!! That's it! 😊

And.. Thanks for clarifying the chinna vengayam question. So what brand has the frozen chinna vengayam? I'm almost sure I haven't seen it before in the store's freezer, but surely will ask around, the next time.

Sue akka, let me tell you something about ragi, before you hate it.

Ragi is hindi
Finger millet english
Kezhvaragu tamil

This ragi grains are rich in dietry fibre, minerals, and vitamins.
Contains both protein and vegetable fat and nutritionally well balanced.
It is very low in carbohydrates, a very healthy dish for hardworking as well as diabetic patients.
In India ragi is associated with labour class.
The lady of the house would prepare ragi based food for the farmers who worked on their fields.

Sue akka, what I will do is, I will make ragi dosa with the same idli batter. Normally I make plain dosa. If you like a bit spicy, you can add in little chopped onions, green chillies and little chopped coriander leaves. You can make it into a paste and add to the dosa batter or you can add them chopped.
