KAVITHA RAVI IN HOSPITAL

Dear friends, forgive me for writing in Kavitha Ravi's name.

I am her co-sister Indera Sithambaram.

Kavitha just returned from a lightining visit to India yesterday.

She was to leave for U.S on the 15^th of August.

She was supposed to send her nephew and niece to their parents.

After packing her bag, she lifted the bag to be weighed and suffered severe back pain.

She could not move at all.

She was taken to hospital, and doctors confirmed that she had a slipped disc. ( L 4, L 5 )

She is now warded and would be on traction for a month or so.

Doctors have said that if she did not improve, she would have to go for surgery.

We are in a fix now, as to wheather her ticket will be transferable..

And who would send the children to U.S.

In the midst of this chaos, she has asked me to convey her regrets.

She appeals to everyone to keep the Recipe Thread going.

omg! i really hope kavitha will be alright! i shall pray for her to recover soon.

Oh my god! Poor Kavi, we are with you like Roja akka said. Get well soon and i shall include it in my daily prayers. Follow the doctor's advise and take plenty of rest.
