My favourite is puli sooru. Every now and then I will get from the temple. 😉 The one you wrote, I only taste that once a year. (reads similar because of the roast peanuts) Again at temple. There is a guy offers prayers to the temple where I go to. Every Jan 1st, he gives a "viranthu" in the temple for all the devotees. His wife is a Brahmin from India and the puli sooru she makes, ammaaaaaaaa...... saliva is drooling. OUt of this world 😳

Which temple Caryn? Let me come next year.

Temple near my house. Setapak. Vinayagar temple. They have it early in the morning. So you can come. Looks like I am not going to temple to pray, but to eat this amazing pooli soor.😳 I am so crazy about it.

btw, I cannot see the pics of Ridge gourd.

Caryn - where in setapak is this Vinayagar temple? can't remember. You know I used to go to the vocational school Setapak. There is a Ayappan temple there too. Do you know?

Pat in our house for new year, morning will make pongal and pray to god.
Breakfast idli, upma, or iddiappam
Lunch vadai payasam,sambar with about 4 side dishes.
Dinner mostly dosai.
