Madhu, I love DC -- lived there for three years. So, I agree with Meli that it's a great backdrop for your new fiction.

However, I will be going out of town again next week and may not be able to read it for some time. By the way, will a certain police officer and a rettai-jadai lady be making a guest appearance in your story 😉 It may lack spice otherwise; I don't know any of the actors you've cast in your story, so I may find it hard to relate to it.

Yep CHerry blossom time in DC is just way too good. Hm....ACD here...i have to start thinking now....the guy doesnt inspire me much in regular clothes...but yosikkaren just for you guys!

Hey Madhu, I have an idea for you. The guy gets a posting as Counselor at the Indian embassy in Washington, DC. His role is that of police liaison with FBI. They do indeed have such a post at the Indian embassy except that the guys assigned there wear jackets and ties. However, since yours is a fictional account, our man can continue to wear his uniform.

ACD arrives in DC with his new wife in tow. And there, a senior FBI officer, 4-5 years older than he but voluptuous, blonde, smart and assertive, makes a pass at him, leaving him in a dilemma as he has to be diplomatic and work towards India's national interests while trying to assure his new and very possessive wife that she's the only woman in her life ... 😉

How's that?
