I had a very interesting comment from a reader on my blog. Her point of view....the mothers in this forum might probably agree to this.

Madhu, that is truly an interesting point.

Although I agree with the view that no mother (of the normal kind) would not be able to live without seeing her baby, have total respect for a surrogate mother for not wanting to see the baby which is technically not hers.

We have to accept that the emotional bond between mother and baby is very strong. If at all the character in your sory had seen the baby even for a split second - would not be able to tear herself away because that is the way it is! It is better not to see the baby's face and put herself thru more pain than she already is.

On the other hand, none of us have any right to decide for another over which action is right or wrong whether in real or reel live.

It is my humble opinion that the ending of your is what I had expected and respect your for it. If you had ended it with Nandhini asking visitation rights - it would have been wrong because it would create problems in the long run and the biological parents will feel insecure.

I agree with you Pat.
I guess its which way the thought proess goes

Emotional or Logical

But choosing one doesnt mean you are not the other. Its just what matters most for that situation!

Hi Madhu, I had that in mind too. How a mom cannot even see her child!! But given the situation, it is a sensible decision, Very hard one but sensible.

I am yet to write answers to the questions you posed earlier. Here are some of it

1. I really liked the part where Prakash calling his Mom when he needed the emotional support.

2. I would have liked to read how Sandhya had introduced Sanju to her parents after all the commotions had happened between them

3. End is a total mix of emotions. But I cannot think of a different end. Real good one.
