Kadhir stood speechless for a second, Uma..he called out and she turned instantly….neither wanted to waste any more time…they ran and hugged each other so tightly……kadhir briefly pulled up to look at her teary eyes and planted a kiss on her closed eyes then either of her cheeks. Uma reciprocated , she held the face of the man who had given up so much for her ……she fondled his face with her hands…Kathir, I love you…I will never let you go from my life….thank you so much….for waiting this long…she buried her face in his chest ….kathir held her close to his chest and rested his chin on her head…its ok Uma….i am there for you…for ever in your life…come here….
He released her and walked her to the sofa….he put the 3 rings on her fingers….all the while Uma was so emotional …kathir kissed her fingers…"Finally I made it…….", he said with a smile. Uma quickly got up …hold on kathir…I have a surprise for you…..
She ran to her room and pulled up the pendant from the box….she went to kathir and asked him to get up. Kadhir questioned her with her eyes….and Uma opened up the box to show the pendand. His eyes widened at the initialed pendant…neenga singaporelendhu varappa kodukanumnu irunther….she signaled kadhir to come close to her….she wrapped his hand around his shoulder to remove the chain kadhir was wearing….the distance between their faces had considerably reduced and they were ogling at each other..not even their eyelids interrupted their perpetual stare. The chain had come of…..Kadhir continued to watch her as she elegantly put the pendant into the chain….she lifted her hands to wrap around his shoulders…when Kadhir's teasing stare made her blush….she had just snapped the hook of the chain when she felt Kadhir;s wet lips on hers. She briefly closed her eyes and loosened her grip over the chain and led her hand into Kathirs hair….kathir was already running his fingers through her hair…all while they continued their kiss….the kiss they have been longing for all this while. Both had reached eternity….they wanted this bliss to last forever…..did not want the moment to end…Kathirs lips slowly moved towards neck….the softness of her skin triggered all his ingrained feelings in him…all that he had controlled so long….Uma's emotions were no less…she buried kathir;s head on her chest ….kathir lifted his head……..he carried in her arms…the touch of kadirs fingers on her stomach….created a flutter in her but she only held kathir further closely…..He laid her on the sofa and they continued their so called "First Kiss" which could probably be the longest kiss ever…..well kadhir and Uma deserved it….every moment of it!
Kathir and Uma later on decided to join priya , Durai and mama. They called Durai to get their location, took an auto to go to the temple. Uma was looking beautiful in the silk saree his mom had bought, something was missing…..yep it was the flowers. He stopped the auto in front of a poo kadai, he bought his favorite jasmine flowers and gave it in Uma;s hand. Uma signaled him to keep it in her hair…Kathir could see the auto driver was smiling….he didn't care..he asked Uma to turn around and managed to push the flowers into her hair…it was a bit messy..but Uma managed to set it right…..Kathir proudly looked at his would be wife dressed in a pattu saree and jasmine flowers….He had often dreamed of his faceless life partner since his college days….but now there she was in full form……They descended the auto, kadhir payed the driver and together shoulder in shoulder they walked into the temple towards 3 pair of eyes looking at them with lots of happiness and relief.
Priya's dad led them to the Amman sannidhi and performed archanai on the two couples. Durai took the kungumam from the priest and put it in priya's forehead. Priya was gleaming with happiness. Life has never been so perfect….the smartest officer in town by her side…in her good and hard times. Uma on the other hand retracted away from the priest when he offered the kungumam….afterall she felt she wasn't officially eligible for this…but kadhir caught the hand of the retracting Uma and held it in front of the priest. The priest with a puzzled look gave the kungumam to her….Uma was staring at it…when Kadhir applied it on her forehead. That's it…now she was officially his property…no one can stop them after this.Both the couples fell in Priya's dads feet. It was the best day of his life….he thanked God and Balaji for the two new found treasures in his life. The family was perfect now. He had lots of work to do….two marriages have to be conducted….he proceeded to talk to the priest about them….leaving the two happy couples behind.
