Air commodore Vishal was a fighter pilot whose MIG 31 was shot down while conducting a secret mission near the border areas of India and Pakistan. But he managed to eject himself and parachuted to safety. The mission was a success and he won the medal of valor. many years later,he was sitting in a restaurant having dinner with his wife and children when a man came up to him and saluted him . When Vishal asked him who he was and how he had recognized him. " I packed your parachute" the man replied. vishal surprised stood up and returned the salute and thanked the man gratefully. Vishal couldn't sleep that night and lay wondering how many times he had seen him and never noticed him or others like him and had not even returned the good morning sir or salute since he was a elite fighter pilot and they had been low level worker doing menial jobs. So friends, who is packing your parachute today? We need many kinds of parachutes as we fly our plane called life and sometimes we fail or simply avoid those who need a hello,a kind look or just a smile. As for me, I want to thank all of you who packed my parachute one way or another, through words,opinions, thoughts and most importantly through their prayers. I give you all my love and wishes and also pray that you and your families have a wonderful 2017.

We go through so many highs and lows in life...
and it's just nice to sit back, ponder, share and cherish the little, sweet moments as we live through them.

Dear Spain, congratulations and my best wishes to both of you. Most would welcome a new year with a party but you have gone one step further and have welcomed the new year with a baby. My blessings and wishes to both of you.

I will be seeing Dangal today afternoon and will be sharing my thoughts and feelings about the experience. See,I did not use the word review for who are we to review and comment on another person's creation. Be it film,book,poetry or just a posting about their soul. Henceforth I shall refrain using words that sound end all or be all and just talk discuss a point of view without being too judgemental. Progress Indeed my ladies for what is time and life if one does not progress and elevate his mind and thoughts. I stood before the mirror as my hand slowly spread the shaving cream on my cheeks and my eyes stared back at me and in them both I saw the past and the future of my life.The past is a cemetery and the future is a sand castle and the present is the only real thing. Grey on my sideburns and crows feet on the sides if my eyes and permanent laugh lines on the sides of my mouth. Yet, the soul is unblemished and is still filled with innocence and unmarked and I will not use youth or its relatives for that period is for the body and the pursuing of its needs. Innocence and experience do not match and are poles apart but if we can bring them together then we have a lovely and tranquil state.

Belated New Year wishes to you and everyone here.

Do share your thoughts on "Dangal" after watching the film.
My whole family watched it and absolutely loved it...they said it was an emotionally, uplifting film captured beautifully on camera.
I was also told Aamir Khan's physical transformation is one of the LEAST achievements of this film...
and the wrestling moves were very well choreographed...but much more enjoyable to see that today's dance numbers.
So keep in mind these points and just enjoy the film.

As for me, I had the chance to watch "Dangal" with family last week...
but I chose to miss it...maybe in the intuition that I would be giving birth very soon...
and...I did give birth in the very next 24 hours!

I would like to share something with the ladies here...
I went through a very stressful time in my pregnancy...
I think I almost gave up on myself at one point...
I was considered "high risk" and my doctor planned for a c-section this month...
I stayed for about 2 months in the hospital...just staring at the walls...
and just days before New Year, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy through a normal delivery.

Having a little faith during the dark times can make all the difference from having a nervous breakdown to experiencing an enchanting breakthrough.
Hope this year brings more faith and joy to all of us...have a lovely new year ahead.
