@eclat, that is the cutest baby pic ever! Good morning to you too! How was your Pongal and Bhogi celebration? Did you get any karumbu at your place? We went to a friend's house for lunch, and all the men had to come in silk veshtis. You will be amazed to know that some of the men needed help with their veshtis! Luckily, Mr. el was not in that group!

Vanakkam everyone.

pongal was good. karumbu was available here. I didn't buy though. Ate and ate and ate all 3 days and Monday was a holiday to digest I guess. Getting back to work tomorrow.

@Eljay - we do get karumbu here, but this time around i bought skinned and chopped karumbu - easy work for me..otherwise they would ask me to cut into smaller pieces and give - ellaarum vaazhappazha sOmbEris..! Bhogi, pongal and maattu / kaaNum pongal all days getting together and eating, was more busier than the weekdays..
