This poem is for someone special and who will understand the minute the soul reads it.i wish the best for you for even in your trying times and dark silences my thoughts are with you.i wait for your mail,i wait for your poems and for our stark but honest observations.come when you want to come.for they say real love is forged in pain, silences and partings without goodbyes.gone could be the mails, gone could be the small stories but embedded deep in the soul are the memories of years gone by.

Just There

Where you were,
I did not see you.

So close to me,
but yet so veiled.

Quietly you waited,
upon my invitations;
but still, somehow,
I failed to note

of you, yearning
to be with me,
but finding
just

a void.

So sadly,
you retreated;
bowed, dejected.

Finally when I knew
of you, your devotion,
so foolishly I did feel,
like a simpleton.

For I had looked
so very hard for you,
up/down/everywhere.

but I just did not looked
clear, in front of me,
where you were

. . . just there.

How to spot an Email Hoax - Guide to Recognizing Hoaxes

Spotting the latest email hoaxes may be easier than you think!

There are thousands of email hoaxes moving around the Internet at any given time. Some may be the latest email hoaxes around. Others may be mutated versions of hoax messages that have travelled the Internet for years. These email hoaxes cover a range of subject matter, including:
  • Supposedly free giveaways in exchange for forwarding emails.
  • Bogus virus alerts.
  • False appeals to help sick children.
  • Pointless petitions that lead nowhere and accomplish nothing.
  • Dire, and completely fictional, warnings about products, companies, government policies or coming events.
The good news is that, with a little bit of foreknowledge, email hoaxes are easy to detect. Hidden within the colourful prose of your average email hoax often lurk telling indicators of the email's veracity.

Probably the most obvious of these indicators is a line such as "Send this email to everyone in your address book". Hoax writers want their material to spread as far and as fast as possible, so almost every hoax email will in some way exhort you to send it to other people. Some email hoaxes take a more targeted approach and suggest that you send the email to a specified number of people in order to collect a prize or realize a benefit.

Another indicator is that hoaxes tend not to provide checkable references to back up their spurious claims. Genuine competitions, promotions, giveaways or charity drives will usually provide a link to a company website or publication. Real virus warnings are likely to include a link to a reputable virus information website. Emails containing Government or company policy information are likely to include references to checkable sources such as news articles, websites or other publications.

A third indicator is often the actual language used. Email hoax writers have a tendency to use an emotive, "over-the-top" style of writing peppered with words and phrases such as "Urgent", "Danger", "worst ever virus!!", "sign now before it's too late" and so on, often rendered in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS for added emphasis. Paragraphs dripping with pathos speak of dying children; others "shout" with almost rabid excitement about free air travel or mobile phones. As well, some email hoaxes try to add credibility by using highly technical language.

Before forwarding an email, ask yourself these questions:
  1. Does the email ask you to send it to a lot of other people?
  2. Does the email fail to provide confirmation sources?
  3. Is the language used overly emotive or highly technical?
A "yes" answer to one or more of the above questions, should start some alarm bells ringing. These indicators do not offer conclusive evidence that the email is a hoax but they are certainly enough to warrant further investigation before you hit the "Forward" Button.

Nigerian Scams:

You may receive an email/letter/fax that asks for your help to access a large sum of money in a foreign bank account. The message says that you will get a percentage of the funds in exchange for your help.

In all probability, the message is an example of the type of scam known as a Nigerian or "419" scam. The "large sum of money" does not exist. The messages are an opening gambit designed to draw potential victims deeper into the scam. Those who initiate a dialogue with the scammers by replying to the scam messages will eventually be asked for advance fees supposedly required to allow the deal to proceed. They may also become the victims of identity theft. The scammers use a variety of stories to explain why they need your help to access the funds.

For example:
  • They may claim that political climate or legal issues preclude them from accessing funds in a foreign bank account.
  • They may claim that your last name is the same as that of the deceased person who owned the account and suggest that you act as the Next of Kin of this person in order to gain access to the funds.
  • They may claim that a rich merchant, who has a terminal illness, needs your help to distribute his or her wealth to charity.
If you receive one of these scam emails, it is important that you do not respond to it in any way. The scammers are likely to act upon any response from those they see as potential victims.

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:
"I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?

If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.

Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
"You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.
"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because
if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

hi people,

Well another trip to kerala but this one will be different for it will be the final time i will fly out to trivandrum as i am shooting for the climax of maharani. Its current successful run will come to an end by the first week of november.although a bit sad i am looking forward to a change in my looks and going on to different roles and working with different directors.

When i start working on a tv serial the first days are filled with anxiety cos i am anxious about how my role will shape out, will i get along with my actors and most importantly my director.but for sometime now i have hit a phase of relaxation and i realise that going with the flow and taking small steps have eased all that pangs of anxiety and fear.

I got about a week's free time to be at home and caught three films at the mall.the first one mahesh babu's telugu film dookudu which was a nice timepass.the next one was zindagi na milegi dobara and the last one which i saw yesterday was john abraham's force.

Ok,i will start with force.after kaakha kaakha gautam menon apparently wanted to do this film with sunny deol which never happened and finally the classic has been done in hindi by some director kamat with john abraham. And what did i get at the end of the film was a splitting headache and anger at gautam for not having directed the film himself for he could have done a better job.john looks like an inflated toy, can't act, can't romance leave alone those two he can't even walk properly.sad john for i liked his perfomance in the film water with lisa ray. a new actor called vidyut who plays the villain has stolen the show completely for he has all the best lines, best scenes to perfom while john keeps showing his biceps and triceps .poor chap if only he had seen surya's perfomance in the original.now if only arnold schwarzenegger had played john's role, kidding. And here i thought cops had huge paunches not huge biceps and triceps.

zindagi na milegi dobara was a total revelation.i went in knowing the film would be good for zoya's earlier film luck by chance was decent but just not scripted properly and it was too much of a burden for farhan to solely carry on his shoulders. But here everybody has a role to play and they do their jobs well.hrithik shows what he can do which he has already proved in jodha akbar and in so many other films.but i want to talk about just one scene of hrithik which i rewinded a dozen times in my mind to soak in his acting and expressions.he walks out of the gym and sees his girlfiriend who has been avoiding him and talks to her and realises she has broken up with him.from the start to the end hrithik changes from happiness to sadness and then rejection to anger.wow dude take a bow hero for that one scene is enough to showcase your acting skills.farhan and abhay have equal roles but get drowned in the story.two other actors stand out,one is katrina and the other is naseer who plays farhan's dad.that one scene where father and son discuss and rewind their past is totally engrossing and i didn't bat an eyelid for it was so captivating.katrina is a total revelation and plays her role with so much ease.beauty and talent, killer woman.both the songs dil dhadkane and take the world and paint it red were good. The most significant part played in the whole film is the country spain which was captured so beautifully.I so envy actors who travel abroad for work to such beautiful places.siiigh, well maybe the next life.

finally what i want to confess is that the story and script come first and then the director and lastly the actors.well the perfect combination of good story, great director, excellent actors and beautiful music is a very rare combination and which is difficult to mix for the perfect recipe.but what usually turns up on screens is like the mysore pak which i once tried to make at home but something puffed up in the kitchen and i guess it was bad for i could even hear the ants and cockroaches running in fear out of my kitchen.and those words were run save yourself for that idiot is cooking.and those words were what echoing when i ran out of the film mall after seeing force.

love
satish

Yes, it was good to see you back in TMS, Satish, but could you do us a big favor and get the producers/director to rescue the serial from the depths to which it seems to have fallen? Maybe you can convey our misery at seeing this non-stop misery in TMS! It is time to bring some happiness into the show, and to the viewers.

Hi Satish - me too felt good to see you on screen after a long time in TMS. Although the promo is not that convincing - hoping you would have a good role.

I second, third, fourth these ladies asking for a change to the dragging in the serial. Would you kind enough to inform the producers team? I know it is too much to ask for - but that serial - needs happy moments non stop problems is annoying some times
