Poor India - always beleagured by some form of violence or another.
I have questions for these terrorists:
1. What makes you think that you would succeed in your half-baked mission?
2. You are citizens of your country and yet you want to inflict pain upon it. Do you think people will respect you or even fear you? They will hate you, dislike you and there are some who would be crazy and angry enough to turn on your own.
3. When will you stop using religion as an excuse to propagate violence?
YOU ARE SICK, SICK, SICK!!!! 😡 😡 😡 😡
To all those people, rich or poor, foreigners or locals who lost families and friends, to all Indians in India generally and to all Indians all around the world - my heart goes out to you. That this should happen in the land of Mahatma is the highest irony of it all.
God bless India.

Bon,
It is very sweet of you to post the topic.
Here I am in San Diego, and CNN is doing 24 hrs. coverage of the event. It is in a Kaiser hospital where 10's of people are sick. No access to computers or internet.
When I saw the Marriott in Pakistan go up in flame costing them 60 million $ I immediately knew India was not far behind. Again, in respoonse to the news item that India blew up pirate vessals in the Arabian sea, I wrote there in response that it is not great news. Finally, ever since the new zealand tour had been cancelled in Pakistan because of bomb blasts in their hotel, I knew that Pakistan won't be far in causing these blasts in India. They have not had a cricket test in Pakistan in 2008 because of security concerns.

The crisis is not fully over yet, but lets hope it ends pretty soon. But Mumbaikars will bounce back pretty soon. Let us pray for the well being of people still trapped inside.

It's awful....India sounds a lot like Pakistan now...there's nothing worse than not being safe in your own country!
Mmy Dad's sister and family are in Mumbai. Luckily they weren't anywhere aorund the attacked places then...they love to venture out and we were so scared until we were able to contact them. My Uncle's boss asked him to go back to office(in the midst of all th attacks) and take care of soem foreign delegates....can u imagine? My Dad strongly bannd him from doing anything of the sort, he said'either you'll be killed, or they'll say you are the terrorist' My Uncle though was able to rescue two foreigners and took them homw with him....poor things they were still shivering even the next mornign, he said!

Ditty, I am sure you are proud of your uncle, as we are. His attitude is what we are all about, helping our fellow human beings, even if our own lives are threatened. That gives me hope for the future, even if it seems bleak today, with what is happening in Mumbai.
