what I saw on Pyar ki kashti main was that, Minu is asked to marry Manav and Avi is asked to marry Rita by their respective parents... (minu's mom and avi's dad).
They dock in some place and then they (Avi's dad) decides to book himself in a different hotel which is recommended by DK. and the actress played by Achint Kaur requests Minu's mom to book herself in a hotel with her, because she wanted Minu and herself to do their wedding shopping together. Avi and his mom are sorta rudish and boorish towards Rita.
Avi's dad realises that he and Mr Pillai are at the same hotel.
The preview shown was that Avi is telling Rita that he has had some major losses and his business is down. Rita is upset at this. Also something about Manav is also shown.
