Why marriage for Roshesh? Wasn't he happy writing poems?
I think it's high time Roshesh gets married. I think he needs to… for all those lovely girls. He has had so many girlfriends in and out of his life, now it's high time. He has to progress from being Momma's boy to Biwi's man.

So, what kind of girl are you looking for?
Seedi saadi, bholi bhali type… Someone who listens to my Momma's words, someone who is beautiful from within. Achi ho, sachi ho, Roshesh ko to koi bhi ladki chalegi, magar I hope, usme koi special si baat ho. Ladki main kuch khas ho, jo Roshesh ka sar fakr se uthe.

Does Roshesh's wife have to get along with Momma?
Not necessary! Roshesh is now ready to go any length for the woman he intends to marry.

Will Roshesh live with his parents after marriage or will he move out and live next door like his brother, Saahil has?
Roshesh, in all probability will live with his parents, he won't shift out. Infact, he is capable of taking his Momma along on his honeymoon also.

How romantic can Roshesh get?
All Roshesh has been doing all this while, is reading out poetry, talk about himself or about his Momma. I guess that will continue, even after marriage. For instance, if she cooks, Roshesh will continue praising how good his mom's cooking is…

Will you pick a dominating lady to be your wife or one who is sweet and listens to all your poems?
Everyone dominates over Roshesh, he would like someone who is not. But actually there is a very thin line between the need to dominate and actually dominating this man... So I guess he could land up being subordinate to that lucky woman.

Roshesh is said to have been born on 1st April. Does that have anything to do with his passion for poetry recitation?
Roshesh is born on the apt date, he has all the qualities of someone who is born on that date. Roshesh's literature abilities is a result of the day he was born, we can't blame anybody.

Roshesh's current hobby is to praise his Momma, any developments on that end?
Nothing will change, but he has gone against his mom, so you'll never know.

What common qualities does Rajesh Kumar share with Roshesh?
Very few… None actually. I don't read out poems, if that's what you wanted to know. I think we are totally different - voice, looks, nature - everything. Except, I am my Momma's boy too, but already married and I balance my life well.

What is it about the show, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai that makes it stand above all other comedy shows?
The script and the fantastic direction. The director and the two producers are an exploding combination. They are far ahead of our times. They bring out the best out of us, especially in a character like Roshesh who is completely backed by the script writer. We only know the superb effect the script has once we see it on air. The team is just brilliant. They have made his character so close to reality.

Your advice for all the girls aspiring to be Mrs Roshesh Sarabhai?
Be what you are, don't portray anything else. All of us who will choose my wife here, are very particular about not encouraging any fake personalities, so be yourself… A word of advice - be on Roshesh's side. He is the one you'll marry on-screen. So 'Be aware and be prepared'.
