| | | | THE BEAUTY CROWNS THE WINNERS: Ronit (Amit Jain), Priyanka Chopra and Pooja (Shama Sikander) | Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra makes an appearance on the small screen in Ye Meri Life Hai. Playing herself, she features in two episodes of the Sony daily which will air on June 27 and 28.
"She is the chief guest at a reunion function in the serial," says producer Vipul D Shah. Priyanka will hand out the prizes to the winners at the event. Pooja (Shama Sikander) and Ronit (Amit Jain) and the rest of the characters are all present at the reunion."
The college gala, anchored by Vrajesh Hirjee and Aditi Pratap, will also include a performance by Indian Idol finalists Rahul Vaidya, Prajakta Shukre, Vishal Kothari, Harish Moyal, Mukesh Pancholi and Ravinder Ravi.
The episodes were shot at the Ryan International School, Malad, on Wednesday and Thursday.
"This college reunion of St Martin's alumni is an important event in the track as it will lead to several new developments in the show," adds Shah.
Chopra, who makes her debut on the small screen, will be present at the gala which has a masquerade ball.

When the winners are announced, Chopra presents them with the trophy and the partners crown each other.
When they remove their respective masks, it is revealed that former flames Pooja and Ronit are the winning couple!
Like Mallika Sherawat in Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai, Urmila Matondkar in Aahat 2 and Arshad Warsi in Remix, Chopra's appearance on television is also to partly promote her film Yakeen, which releases next Friday. As part of the prizes are also Yakeen audio albums.
"We know Priyanka so we discussed the idea with her and she was ready to be part of the show," adds Shah. "Post this event, Ye Meri Life Hai has an important turning point in Pooja and Ronit's lives," he adds.

At 8 pm is Batliwalla House No 43 with chat show host Shahrukh Batliwalla (Bakhtyar Irani).
There will be two back-to-back episodes with popular television actors Aamna Sharif, Shakti Anand, Gurdeep Kohli and Hussain as celebrity guests.
At 9 pm will be the Yaroon Ki Pyas Hai Badi concert which has the Indian Idol finalists with the Kkusum and Ye Meri Life Hai cast.
At 10 pm, there will be Jassi Ka Safar, a special recap episode which will take viewers through Jassi's journey. | |
