I saw a lot of talk about success here. I may sound a little harsh, but success is relative. The actors mentioned here are doing better than their television contemporaries, agreed. However, at the end of the day they're all actors and need to be compared with other actors.

yep after watching kyph 4 the secnf time...i actually realized it was her..well i didn't knw her till i watched the reality show Zara Nachke Dikha...however she is more pretty than she was in kyph

Prachi Desai is working outside Balaji...she is working outside the entire television industry, actually, and yet, she is being really successful, and her ravishing popularity, instead of declining, is increasing day by day. She is one of the few actresses who had managed to quit television and yet become such a big celebrity in the film industry. She is the youngest (20 right now; 17 when she started her carreer) actress who had managed to earn such popularity, and positive criticism amongst viewers of all class (two times ITA winner; Jhalak Dikh La ja champion; doing a massive amounts of advertises due to her immense popularity; and working in Bollywood - something that doesn't happen always). There is no doubt left that she is the best talent-hunt of Balaji and Ekta, and that she is [one of the] most talented actress out there, and that too, in such a young age. Apparently, she has the largest amount of fans (not the crazy, fanatics...normal, matured ones) out there as well.

...couldn't have said it myself any better. Pallavi surely is not only a fantastic actress, but one of the most versatile one out there. Honestly, when I first heard that she is 'going to' play a negative character in Kasam Se, I honestly had to laugh at Ekta's aberrant idea of putting such an innocent-looking girl into a negative role...and I honestly was shocked the day she turned negative in Kasam Se, seeing her marvelous, ravishing acting skill. Not only me, her enemy camp (well, the Meera-haters, not speaking about the actress; I do not think there's a single human being out there who holds any grudge against the actress Pallavi, she is extremely matured, humble and a down-to-earth person) started praising her acting skill. I will even go as far as to say that she is the second best 'villain' of Balaji telefilms (the first being Urvashi...of course no one can take her place 😆). The popularity, TRPs and Tam ratings of Kasam Se increased rapidly...everyone I acquainted was 'fida' over her negative portrayal of Meera. And you know what, she (both Pallavi and her character) earned a lot more popularity than the heroine. 😆

Quite honestly, I love Pallavi in negative role, and hope to see her in another villainous role soon! I liked Gauri more due to her extraordinary chemistry with Iqbal...I never thought I would appreciate Iqbal's chemistry with another actress other than Neha...however, Pallavi won my heart.

Also, versatility is a rare quality, a rare talent that not every actors/actresses out there has. Many actors happen to be popular, but lacks the ability to play different kind of roles and images. Pallavi surely isn't one of those! 👏

Prachi is not doing any serial right now film is totally different from serial.. She did jhalak dikhla ja but that was Reality show.. And Pallavi is a good actress no doubt but she didnt t give any successful serial outside Balaji yet. or I can say she didnt get chance to prove herself. let's see what happens to Basera...

What one wishes to discuss should be kept to the individual himself. The topic hasn't got anything to do with "Who was successful outside Balaji" and yet, members brought that in. Therefore it shouldn't be unfair to bring another new angle ("Who was Balaji's best talent-hunt") in; if it is, then it should work both ways.

Correct, Bollywood is different from the television world. Bollywood is a much bigger platform, and getting a chance there (coming from a television background) is a way bigger achievement than being successful outside Balaji... Very few actress had been that fortunate.

Reality show isn't very different from soaps; they have different viewers, and Prachi won her audience's hearts with that show as well. In short she had been successful with whatever she took at hand.

Either way, Prachi has got the highest amount of fans, even after she quit Kasam Se, and stepped into the film industry, and that itself reflects who had been successful outside the Balaji camp, and who have not been.

Aside, if someone is successful, then that inherently means he/she has got talent. Talent cannot be hidden. If you have it, it will come out - sooner or later.
