She literally breaks her head but nothing come to her way..she looked at him with a sad puppy face..

He inhaled sharply in frustration..

Her face fell low...

He yelled at her in anger..

Her eyes filled with tears ...lips trembled..nose flared...she bowed down her head to hide her tears from him..but a pair of pearls escaped from her eyes and fell on her hands..marking their trail on her cheeks..she immediately covered her face with hands...and then her body shuddered with her mute cry...

On seeing her condition he was stunned..He closed his eyes to suppress his temper..he was short tempered from the childhood itself..however tried he couldn't change his habit..he got mad at every single thing which displeases him..he wanted things to be done according to his wish..without thinking of the consequences he yelled at her..but now when he saw her crying it pricked him somewhere..he felt he was wrong in shouting at her for her small mistake..he was regretting badly..

He sat near her leaning his back on the handle wall ...stretching his legs parallel to her..he slowly removed her hands covering her beautiful face..which was messed up with her constant crying..

He gave his kerchief to her and indicated her to wipe her face..

She took it without a word and did it as he said..she wiped her tear marks ,and blew her nose then returned the kerchief back to him..after folding it neatly..

He felt disgust but didn't showed that in face.he silently took back his hanky ..and inserted in his packet..

She sniffled lightly..

He cursed himself for hurting this young girl..

"What is the need to shout at her..she is just a kid...if u don't have patience then u shouldn't have agreed to be her teacher in the first place.." his sanity taunted him..

"I am sorry..."he said hesitantly as it was a very rare word he would use..

She looked at him with wide eyes..

"I shouldn't have talked rudely to u.." he said in a remorseful voice...

"See Raji...nothing is impossible in this world..maths onnum periya kashtam laam illai..it's a simple logic..adhai purinjikitaa..neeyum Ramanujam dhaan..yenakku china vayasula irundhe maths naa oru fantacy,I love to play with numbers...

Each time when I solved the equation or derivation. it gives me a feel of achievement ..

He stopped his lengthy advise anticipating some desired result from her side...but as usual she astonished him...she gapped at him in shock..and asked..

"Sir neenga ivlooo..pesuveengalaa..?"

He shook his head at her unexpected question.. "This girl will never change.."he thought in mind..

But surprisingly he didn't get angry on her..instead he smiled at her childishness..

"Ok inikku relax pannu..naalaikku formula padichitu vaa naan kekuren ok vaa?"

He was about to leave.

"Sir onnu marandhuteenga?"

He scrunched his brows in question..

"Yenga ammaa kaiyaala coffee.."she chirped happily and ran inside..not giving room for his denial..

Karthik was in his office..collecting the information required for his project..Referring the old files..in library room..it was full of dust..he coughed by the dusty smoke evoked while he dragged the file from the top most rack..

"Yuck..how dirty..these people r still keeping this records in files instead of updating in the system..."he was frustrated..

Staying for a moment longer there seemed nearly impossible for him..as he felt suffocating in side that dusty room.

He came out from there with few files in his hand back to his seat..

Where his intercom buzzed continuously ...

He hurriedly kept the files on the table and answered the call..

"Hello"

"Hello karthik sir.." security talked from the other end..

"Yes.."

"sir, there is a visitor for u."

"Who is that?"

"She didn't tell anything sir, she just said she wants to meet u..."

"She..?"he was puzzled..

"Ok tell her to wait in the reception I will be there in a minute.."

"Who could be that "she"..?" he has started listing the possible options...

He went down to reception area to see that mysterious girl..with a confusion ..as if overshadowing all his assumptions Raji was sitting there at the corner of the sofa..with her uniform dress on and her school bag clinging on her shoulder..running her nervous eyes all over...

He got a shock of his life.he never thought that she would be Raji..

"OMG..what the hell she is doing in my office..?"he approached her in a hurry,

"Raji..?"

She stood up immediately hearing his surprised voice..

Instead of answering she started to cry with tears flowing continuously..

He was baffled to see such a reaction from her..he immediately looked around to see whether anybody watching them..

Few guys approaching the lift had stopped and watching the live show with curious eyes..

"ishh Raji don't cry..see everybody is watching ,what they will think of us?"he hushed her with so much of embarrassment..in front of his colleagues..

But Raji was Raji..she didn't stop rather she whimpered loudly..

He inhaled sharply..in anger..without a word he held her hand and dragged her out of the office premises..to the entrance area..

"ippa sollu yenna aachi?"he asked impatiently..

She took out a paper from her bag in snail speed testing his patience and extended to him..

He didn't budge "yenna idhu?" asked sternly..

"Monthly test ...maths paper..."

"So?" he asked curtly..

She stayed mute... not getting any response from her..he snatched the paper form her and unfold it

His brows raised in shock..she down casted her eyes feeling ashamed by his reaction..

"indha super mark ah kaata dhaan avlo avarasamaa veetuku kooda pogaama inga vandhiyaa?"he asked mockingly..

She gulped hard..

He shook his head in disbelief..

"She is an unique piece..Even cloning also impossible.." he thought in mind..

"Pls sir,neenga vandhu yenga appa kitta pesi avara samaadhaana paduthanum...neenga sonnaa dhaan avaru kepaaru..." she pleaded with an anticipating eyes..

He folded his hands against his chest and looked at her nonchalantly..clearly indicating his denial..

She pouted her lips..

"naan next time kandipaa pass panniduven.god promise.." she touched her head with hand..to swear..

His lips curved with a lopsided smirk..as if mocking her fake promise..

She bit her lips in embarrassment..

Seeing his rock like demeanor..she grumbled inside...

She pleaded him with tears rolling down continuously..

But he stayed quiet looking unaffected by her crying..

Shocked by his impassive behavior..she changed her tactics..and tried to evoke his empathy..

"adhu mattum illai sir,indha vaati pass pannalainaa yennai hostel la serthuduvennu solraaru..appuram unga tuition kooda cut aagidum..adhu ungalukkum nashtam dhaane..?hostel saapaadu nallaa ve irukkadhu..yenga ammaa samaiyal yevlo nalla irukkum theriyumaa..adhai yepapdi sir miss panradhu?adhu mattum illa yennoda rose chedi yellam yennai paarkaama saapitaadhu...theriyumaa?"she went on and on blabbering whatever comes to her mind without thinking... ...at one point he couldn''t control himself.and burst into laughter clutching his stomach..

She stopped her rattling and stared him with gapping mouth..first time she was seeing him laughing very freely without any restrictions. otherwise, it was only a millimeter stretch of his lips what she would assume as a smile ..sometimes she would even think that he might be having crooked tooth order so that he was not smiling..but now while he smiling freely showing his milky white orderly teeth ..

Her mind screamed... "wow...what a beautiful smile...He can be a model to any tooth paste ad.."

Eventually his smile shrunk to smile..

"Ok..Ok..vaa naan kootitu poren..but idhu dhaan last time ok.."

"Double ok sir.." her face lit up immediately...

"Sari wait pannu naan permission sollitu varen.." he treaded towards his office..

Raji waited for ten minutes..standing there alone with a heavy bag clinging to her one shoulder..she rolled her eyes around to pass the time...she had noticed three men standing few meters away from her throwing dirty looks on her and passing comments over her and laughed out loud...

She felt disgusted and turned her head to the other side.,Wishing for karthik to arrive soon..

"Yenna paapaa ...thaniyaa nikura?..Veetla sollama vandhityaa..?"

She jerked back with a sudden voice ...

Those goon like men had come closer and stared at her standing in few feet distance..

She stepped back as a reflex..turned away ignoring them completely..

"Problem perusa aagiduchaa?appa kitta solla bayamaa irukkaa?"

Another goon asked her with a filthy look..

"Andha paiyan vittutu poitaanaa? Nee kavala padaadha..yenga poganum sollu maa..naanga drop panrom.."the third one asked with sly smile..

"Police station ku poganum variyaa?"a stern voice cuts through the air and the startled goons looked back..only to be welcomed by the deathly glare of karthik...his body was rigid like a iron rod..his demeanor was certainly frightening...as a reflex they gave way to him dispersing quickly..

He grabbed her hand firmly and steered her from there with a rough tug..towards his bike..

She tried to release her hand from his hold as it was paining to her..but his grip was so tight she couldn't get out of it..

He released her hand once they reached his bike..

She looked at his face which was redden by anger..she was scared to death to see such a wrath in his face...

"Sir..."she called slowly..

"Shut up..don't utter a word more ...don't u have any sense..?munna pinna theriyaadha place ku thaniyaa varadhu safe illainu kooda theriyaadhu...?"he taunted her between his gritted teeth..

His blood was boiling with the sight of those goons casting filthy look on Raji..his hands were itching him to beat those cheap creatures black and blue..but he restrained himself from doing it..as he doesn't want to create any fuzz in public place..

He kick started the bike in rage even though it has a self starter...only to went out his anger...the roaring sound of the engine indicating his anger..

"u need any invitation to sit..."he yelled..

Raji gulped hard..and sat at the pillion without a word..but as she seated she let out a small cry..

"Iyoo.."

"Yenna aachi..?"he asked in a hastily..

"Indha bike la pidichikka place ae illai.."she said innocently..

" Adhaan ivlo periya uruvam munnadi irukenla yennai pidichiko.."he said with a smile..finally his tensed nerves relaxed a bit with her nave question..

She nodded her head..as if he could see her nod ...

"Yenna sathathaiye kaanom..?" he asked

"naan sari nu thalai asaichen.."

"adhu yenakku yeppadi theriyum?yen kannu yenna pinnadiyaa irukku?" this time he came back to normal completely.

"Sari polaamaa?"

"mmm"

"nallaa...Pudichiko.."

As soon as her hand touched his shoulder softly the bike zoomed away to mingle with the busy road ...her grip tightened instantaneously as to cope up with the speed.

"Naan onnu ketaa thappa ninaika maateengale.."

"Yenna?"

"Andha rowdy ngalukku yeppadi theriyum naan appaa kitta solla bayapadurennu..?" she asked ever so innocently...

She felt his shoulder became rigid under her palm...her hand chilled unknowingly...

"Pesaama variyaa?" he roared..

She pouted her lips as if regretting her untimely question..

"Sorry.."she uttered meekly..

After that she was silent throughout the ride..

He stopped the bike in front of her house..

She got down reluctantly..

He eyed her to go inside..

"Sir neenga varala..?"

"Yenna vilaiyaaduriyaa?pesaama ulla po.."

"Pls sir.."

"No.."he said firmly..

"Idhu unnoda problem nee dhaan face pannanum..don't hide behind my back.."

"Appo neenga ulla varamateengalaa?"

"Ivlo neram naan adhai dhaan sollitu iruken..yaen tamil puriyaadhaa...?"

He asked mockingly...but seeing her pale face...he stopped his mockery...

"Raji..Don't run away from ur problems..just face it boldly..u will overcome it easily...

Unga appava dhairiyamaa face pannu..nee ninaikara alavukku onnum periya problem varaadhu..sariyaa.. dhairiyamaa po.."

He said with a soft yet firm voice to boost up her confidence...

Finding no other options..she turned towards her home and walked hesitantly..Accompanied by the little courage instilled by him..
