Kaadhal enum maaya valai

Part 2 :

Karthik waited till 11 pm and went to the bedroom and lay on the bed next to his daughter

Next Day : early morning 5 AM

Karthik got disturbed by some sound and lights were turned on... He wakes up and sees his wife getting ready,,.

'eppo Raji vandha?

'1 o clock'

'sari.. paduthu thoonga vendiayadhu dhaane? indha nerathula enna pannittu irukka? ', Karthik asks in care..

'innaikku client review meeting irukku.. adhukkulla., I have to review the changes done by my team..' 'I'm starting to office now...', Raji

'rest eduthuttu pogalaam la.. health ennathukku aaguradhu' , Karthik

'enna panna mudiyum karthik? responsibility irukke?, Raji...

'ellaa Managers um ippadi yaa irukkaanga...? we have to manage the time...' he says..

'please daa.. kaalailaye mood out pannaadha... sari.. kutty olungaa saappittaalaa? ' Raji

He then talks about how kids are being affected when both their parents work.. Also asks her to reconsider his wish for their daughter Sara's sake..

'Sara va kaaranam kaatti.., nee kaariyam saadhikka paakkuriyaa Karthik', Raji raises her voice...

'hey.. medhuvaa... Sara muzhichira pora... lets talk later..' saying so, he takes her outside the room.

But Raji says that there is nothing more to discuss about the same subject again and again and she is not ready to give up her job...

'working women yaara paarthaalum.. ellaarum ippadi dhaan pasangala vittu tu vandhu work panraanga... its part of life.. understand Karthik'

Karthik doesn't want to spoil her mood in the morning and kept silent...

'I know.. nee yum ellaa aambalainga maadhiri dhaan... wife thanna vida higher position la irukkuradha.. easy ya eduthukkuradhilla..' she fumes..

He somehow manages to send her off to work and wishes her good luck for her current task.

Karthik leaves for office once the maid has come..

Sara's 2nd birthday is in 2 days and so they had decided to go for purchasing on that day evening.. But when Karthik called her after office hours, she didn't pick it and sent a message that she is still in the meeting and asks him to carry on..

Karthik without satisfaction, takes Sara alone and goes shopping... When they reach home, the maid comes and informs that his wife came in between and packed dresses and left...

Same time he gets call from Raji..

'Sorry Karthik.. had some issues with that project.. I have to leave for Bangalore today itself' she said..

As she didn't get a reply from him she again asked, if he is on the line..

'sari... eppo varuvaa ?' Karthik..

'sure ah theriyala... 2 days aagum'... she says..

'day after tomorrow... namma Sara birthday... nyaabagam irukkula.. ?'

'adha marappenaa.. ? eppadiyum vandhiduven.. take care Karthik..' saying so she cuts the calls by giving a kiss...

Next Day evening :

As the child did not see her mother for more than a day., it falls sick and runs out of high fever... worried Karthik checks with the babysitter lady as what to do now..

She also says what the doctor stated that the kid would be alright if it captures the warmth of a mother... Karthik continuously tried Raji's number, but her number wasn't reachable...

He took leave the next day, which is Sara's birthday and was with her throughout the daytime..

The maid asks 'thambi... annaikku namma paappaava kaappaathuna ponnu... unga friend nu sonneengale... avangala phone panni varra solreengalaa ?'

Karthik couldn't get what she is saying...

'adhu vandhu... Sara kutty andha ponnukitta udane ottikiduchu... adhaanaala... avanga vandhaa nallaa irukkum nu thonuchu... adhaan sonnen..' 'enna yosikkireenga thambi..?'

'adhilla... ava number enkitta illa... romba naal kazhichu paarthom... ' saying so... he thinks... 'cha...number vaanganum nu thonave illaye...?'
