Karthik was very nervous while waiting at the door step of Lakshmi's house after pressing the door bell...he was so restless throughout the night and so now...every passing second had seemed like a decade to him...he wiped off the sweat in his forehead...

Vishnu who was witnessing the scene had muffled his laughter and thought to himself..

"Yevlo dhairiyamaana aalungalaiyum indha love weak aakkidudhu...paavam Karthik kalyaanathukku munnaadiye ippadi pammuraan..kalyaanam aanaa avlo dhaan..kaallaiye vizhundhuduvaan nu nenaikaren..."

He laughed ..imagining that scene in his mind...

"Yennadaa sirippu..."Karthik yelled at him..

"Onnum illai machi...ulagatha nenaichen... sirichen..." vishnu said with innocent face..

"Dai unnai pathi yenakku theriyum daa..ulagatha nenaikara moonjiya paaru...ozhungaa yenna nenaichennu sollu"

"Adhu onnum illai machi..nethu varaikkum kalyaaname vendaam nu sollittu irundhavan nee..aanaa paaru inniku oru ponnukaaga ippadi pichaikaaran maadhiri yaar veetu vaasalaiyo vandhu nikkiriye..adhai nenaichi dhaan daa sirichen...its all fate u know..yezhudhivaikka patta vidhi..."Vishnu laughed even louder..

"Avanavan inga tension la irukaan..nee yenna daa nnaa yennaiya paarthu sirikara...Siridaa siri..neeyum oru naal maattuva la appa irukkudi unakku...kacheri..." karthik chided him in annoyance...

"Maatinaa dhaanae..namkku love laam set ae aagadhu..adhuvum paartha udane kaadhal laam chance ae illai..." Vishnu said carelessly...

Karthik was very much frustrated...They have been waiting for whole two minutes and there was no response...

"Dai machaan free aa vidudaa...yellaam nalla badiyaa nadakkum..." Vishnu patted his back..

At the same time door has opened..Karthik looked eagerly towards inside..he was disappointed seeing Lakshmi over there ...

Vishnu's eyes snapped open and he heard the bell ringing in his heart...and bulb flashed in his head...

She smiled at Karthik and asked.. "Yenna driver sir.. thirumba vandhirukeenga..?inga driver velai yedhuvum vacant illaiye.."she asked mockingly..

Karthik gave an embarrassed smile.. "Sorry...adhu chummaa vilaiyaattukku.."he let the sentence unfinished...

"I am just kidding... ulla vaanga.."she invited them inside and asked them to be seated...

Karthik introduced himself..

"Hi ,I am Karthik...he is my friend Vishnu.."

"Hello..i am lakshmi..."

"Lakshmi.. very nice name..."Vishnu said flirtingly ..

Lakshmi frowned at him..

Karthik's eyes searching the whole house to get a glimpse of his desired face..but she was nowhere to be seen..

At last losing his patience she asked to Lakshmi ...

"Lakshmi..Raji yenga..?"

She pointed towards the back yard...

Karthik asked reluctantly.. "May i.."

"Ofcourse neenga dhaan poganum.because she is very mad on u...ava sema kaduppula irukaa.."

Karthik walked towards the back yard with reluctant steps..

Lakshmi shouted from inside..

"Paarthu Karthik... kobadhula yedhaiyaavadhu thookki pottu mandai ya odaichida poraa..she is a karate black belt holder...be careful..."

Lakshmi laughed at him and turned towards Vishnu..

"Adhellaam avan correct ah catch pudichiduvaan..college cricket team captain avan..." Vishnu said with an absurd smile...

Lakshmi looked at him doubtfully..

"Yaenga ,Karthik yennoda best friend..adhe maadhiri Raji ..ungalukku best friend..."

"Adhukku .."Lakshmi asked in confusion..

"Naamalum avangala maadhiri..."Vishnu dragged the sentence..

"Avangala maadhiri.." Lakshmi glared at him in anger...

"Illai..avanga varra varaikkum chummaa pesittu irukalaamnu solla vandhen avlo dhaan..."Vishnu covered up instantly..

"Adhu..."Lakshmi smiled at his plight...

Vishnu's mind voice..

"Yenakkum life set aagidum pola irukke..dai machi..thanks daa"

Karthik took each step with a thudding heart ...she had been sitting on the same bench like the other day...

He walked up to her and sat at the other corner...with a straight look...

After a pass he glanced at her from the corner of his eyes...

She looked ethereal with a soft pink chiffon saree... Had been worked with silver lines...

She had not showed any symptoms of acknowledging his presence...

Her silence and ignorance frightened him more...

He slowly called her name... "Raji..."

"Raji ..." She had stilled hearing her name for the first time from his mouth..it was like symphony to her ears...

But she didn't show her weakness to him...she turned her face to the other side...

"Raji ...I am sorry...pls try to understand me..i didn't plan any such things before handedly..suddenly it happened..we met each other accidently and I took that has a good opportunity for us to understand each other..."

"Just think.if it had been a properly planned meeting..how formal it would have been..we wouldn't have come to know others original personality...we must have pretended by being nice to each other..but ippo naan unnai pathi neraiya therinjikiten...neeyum yennai pathi nallaa therinjittu irupennu nenaikaren...maybe I have hidden my identity but I swear I do not acted in any situation..naan naanaa irundhen..Raji..nee yenna nambanum..pls...I have no such intentions of hurting u or cheating u..i just wanted to know more about u...that's it.."

Even then if u r feeling that I have cheated u .. then i am really sorry for that..

I don't know what else to say...u have to tell me now..."

He finished his self explanations and had waited for her to react..but she was sitting like a statue...

He stood up and walked off crestfallen without a word in great disappointment..

He reached his car and then only he realized he had left Vishnu at home...he turned to go inside but startled to see Raji standing there with her hands folded..with a fuming face...

"Yenna..?"he asked in confusion..

"Yedhuvum sollaama ponaa yenna artham...?"she asked in rage..

"Yedhuvume sollaama irundhadhu nee dhaan..naan illai,naan dhaan yennoda reasons ah solli tenae..."

What else she was expecting me to do? he was getting confused now..

"Aamaa yenna sollanumo adhai sollaama ..vetti kadhai pesittu irundhaa.. naan yenna pesa mudiyum..?"She clearly showed her annoyance..

He was like "what the heck is this?"

"Innum yenna sollanum Raji...naan dhaan sorry sonnenae..?" he couldn't get anything out of her strange behavior..

"Mannaangatti sorry...pudichirukunnu oru vaarthai kooda sollalai... Loosu ."she cursed him in low voice..

But he could clearly hear those words...his eyes widened in shock as well as in surprise..

"Muzhikkaradha paaru...korangu.."

With a pouting face she turned to move inside...but he caught her arm hastily and stopped her...

Her back was facing him and she bit her lips to control her blush caused by his touch..

"Raji..."he called her in astonishment..

She smiled shyly hiding her face from him...

He jerked her and made her to face him with a tug in her hand...

She was shocked with his sudden action...she gapped at him with a gasp..

"Hey,unnai pudikaama dhaan un kitta vanadhu ippadi kenjittu irukaenaa? Idhu kooda theriyaadha nee dhaan loosu.."He taunted her lovingly...

"Appo sollu.."Raji

"Yenna sollanum..?"Karthik asked with a naughty grin..

She twisted her lips sulking and tried to move away but her hand was still in his hold and he jerked her back to hit his hard chest...

She gripped his shoulder for support..and glared at him..

He looked straight into her eyes..and said..

"Naan verum saadhaarana driver dhaan madam..irundhaalum..ungala kankalangaama kannukulla vachi paarthukkuven ...I love u Raji...I love u so much..will u marry me?"

Her heart was flying very high hearing his confession...and also she enjoyed his naughtiness...so she continued following his lead...

"Driver ah kalyaanam pannitu vaazhradhu konjam kashtam dhaan..irundhaalum naan adjust pannikaren..but inimel accident mattum panna koodaadhu...ok vaa?"

"Raji ..un kitta innoru unmaiyum sollanum...accident pannappa car ah oottinadhu naan illai Vishnu.."he said keenly watching her changing expressions..

She hits his chest with a fist and grumbled.. "Idhuvum poi yaa?innum yennenna poi solli irukka nee?" she asked in anger..he felt like kissing those pouting lips...

"Inimel un kitta yendha poium solla maaten promise .."he pressed her hand against his heart and confessed..

"Sari naan kettadhukku nee innum badhil solla ve illaiye...?will you marry me?"

She bent down her head in shy and nodded for a "yes"..

He lifted her face and asked "Yennai paarthu sollu Raji.."

"Yes.."she whispered..

"Avlo dhaana?"he was persistent..

She hesitated for a moment and finally said..

"I love u too Karthik.."

He was over the moon hearing those magic words from his love..

In his rejoice and excitement he couldn't resist himself from capturing those petals for an everlasting soul searching kiss...
