Raji looked through the glass partition with a longing eyes..expecting him to spare a glance at her..

But he seemed nowhere to be budge...he keeps on staring the monitor with a serious look as fingers typed swiftly on the keyboard...

Losing her patience she twisted her lips in anger..

"korangu..korangu..paarkuraanaa paaru...naanum inniku sariyaagidum..naalaikku sari aagidum nu vittaa idhu sari aagura maadhiri theriyala..i have to do something...its action time.."

Watching him going towards canteen..she also followed him..

Karthik ordered a coffee.. while waiting for its arrival he pulled out his mobile from the pocket and fiddled it restlessly..

She watched him from distance and she signaled canteen Palani showing her thumbs up and went to sit opposite to him..

"Hi Karthik..." she chirped excitedly...

He returned a halfhearted "hi" to her...and dug his eyes into his mobile screen again...clearly showing his disinterest in the conversation..

She felt like snatching the phone and throw it away ..but she controlled her impulse ..

"Yen mela innum kobamaa.." she asked with a low voice..

Fingers that figeting on the screen stopped for a moment and then resumed its track..

"Not like that.." he said without raising his eyes..

Palani anna, came with his order placed the cup in front of him..momentarily pausing their conversation...he sipped the coffee ..not showing any concern for her order to come.

The way he treated her like a non existing object, pricked her heart and felt wetness at the corner of her eyes..

"Appo yaen yen kitta pesamaatengura...?"she asked gulping the lump erupted inside her..

"Ippo pesittu dhaane iruken.." he said recklessly rather would say arrogantly..

"Poi sollaadha Karthik...rendu naala nee yen mugatha paarthu kooda pesa maatengura...whenever I tried to talk ...u intentionally avoiding me...whats all these Karthik.?i am really feeling very bad.."

He looked at her worried face for the first time till the time of her arrival..for an instance his heart melted to see those big eyes gloomed with grief..but her next set of words hardens his melting heart like a steal rod..

"Naan appadi solli irukka koodaadhu dhaan..but it was not intentional...I never meant those words Karthik..i am really really very sorry.."

"You no need to ask sorry ..i am not mad on u..ok" he said nonchalantly..trying to put an end to this endless argument..

"Illa nee sari illai..yen mela kobamaa irukka.." she was pestering..

"Ippa yenna venum Raji unakku?" he asked losing all his patient..

"Yennoda pesu..." she said as simply as she could..

"Ippo unnoda dhaane pesittu iruken...indha table chair kitta illaie.." his annoyance clearly visible in his demeanor..

She looked at him with a sulky face..

"I am really sorry.." she said meekly and stomped out from there with a hurtful face..

He looked at her direction in remorse..Remorse of hurting her again..

But he too was not in a position of consoling her as he himself was badly hurt..how much he tried hard he couldn't gather the shattered pieces of his heart..he know he has given pain to her being so rude...but he was helpless as he couldn't behave normally while his heart was burning in pain..

He felt the need of some time and space for him to come out of this oscillations..the thought ,that his Raji not trusted him and treated as a pervert itself was a big blow for him...which wrenched his heart in pain..he cannot think beyond that...how could she think that low of him?

Perhaps he was too much demanding ..so distance would make both of them to realize their actual feelings towards each other..he believed..

Even though ,seeing Raji's attempts to patch up and getting hurt while not being received any fruitful result from him was disturbing him..her yarning face keep on niggling him not letting him to concentrate on anything..

Yes her hurt was more painful for him than his..

He was no more mad on her..but still something stops him from talking to her normally.. he cannot point out what was that obstacle..

"May be his ego was badly hurt..."he thought for an instance..but "when he allowed his ego to intrude in their relation ..?"his sanity reverted back cutting off the thought...

"No it's not my ego..it was my feelings ..my love.. which I am preserving dearly for her was wounded.."Other part of his heart screamed out..

He sighed exasperated..it seemed there was no end for this dilemma ...

He finished the coffee when he was about to place it on the table, he noticed something was written inside the cup..

It spelled "Sorry.."

He immediately looked at the direction she had left..she was not there..gone long back..he then gazed at the sorry again..a small ray of happiness twinkled in his eyes..

"Hope everything will be back on track soon..."she murmured peeping out from her hiding place..Grinning at his subtle happiness..

In the evening..

While Karthik was wrapping up his work for the day..he heard a knock ..

"Come in.." he said adhering his gaze to the monitor .. ..

"Karthik.." Raji's husky call hits his ear drum and vibrates his whole body..making his heart to beat in racing pace..still he maintained his calm posture outside..

He raised his eyes slowly showing his disinterested face...

She was standing there with eyes full of love...there was not any traces of worry... it reflected only love and affection as much as she could showcase through her eyes...and with a lethal smile on her lips..he would have gone head over heels for that single smile if he were an old Karthik ..

He gapped at her in surprise..

"Karthik ...yenna veliya kootitu poriyaa?" she pleaded with honey coated voice..

He was alarmed seeing her exaggerated action...

"Oh she is trying other ways to persuade me..?" Karthik control..don't fall into her traps.."

"Yenakku velai irukku.." he said curtly..

"Pls Karthik.." she pleaded like a kid..

"Raji..i have loads of works to do..nee lakshmi kooda po.."

"Lakshmi oda poradhukku yenakku theiryaadhaa?nee kootitu poviyaa maatiyaa?"

"yenakku velai irukku late aagum.."

"Evlo neram aanaalum naan wait panren.."

"No..it will take more time..there is no use in waiting..."

"Enough Karthik...if u don't want to go out with me.. its ok...u could say it straight away..no need to pretend like working by starring at the blank screen "

"I shouldn't have asked u sorry.." she said with an extremely hurt voice with a tinge of anger ..

She treaded away swiftly..as she was at the threshold of the cabin

He couldn't stop himself from asking.."yenga poganum..?"

Though her heart jumped in joy she maintained straight face not leaking out any of her internal emotions..thanking god for making her plan work out..

"Beach "she said with excited voice...

"Ok vaa polaam.."

The ride was silent ...and they reached nearby beach walked towards the magnificent ocean and sat on the sand watching the waves of the sea crashing the shore..

Though both looked calm outside but the storm hitting them inside were not less than those crashing waves..they were sitting like a statues staring at the sea pointlessly..

"Uncle" a young voice broke their trance..

He looked at the small kid standing in front of him with a rose in hand.

When he looked at that kid in amusement and surprise she gave that flower to him and kissed his cheek saying

"Sorry"

And ran away swiftly ..and vanished in the crows ..

He looked back at her with his brows raised in question..

"Yenna idhellam.." before she utter a word..

Another kid called him..and offered him a chocolate..

Then kissed his cheek uttering a cute "sorry"

He scrunched his brows at her 17^th century type idea for apologizing...can't she think something innovative...?

As he has expected, another young voice broke his staring session..

A small boy holding a heart shaped balloon which had a wording of "I am sorry"on it..

He cocked his brow at him...intimidated by his looks ..the kid ran away as fast as he could..after thrusting the balloon in his hand ...

"Avlo dhaanaa innum yaaraavdhu line la irukaangalaa?" he asked sarcastically..

She extended a sorry card to him ..

He looked at her sternly with folded hands not accepting her card..

She pouted her lips in disappointment..

"Innum yevlo sorry dhaan solradhu..?" she asked in a fed up tone..

"Raji..u no need do all these..i already told u I am not angry with u.."

"But u r not talking to me either.."

"It's just I need some time to come out of my mind set ...I need some space.. that's it.."

"naan venumnu yedhuvum pannalai.."

"Adhu yeankku theiryum Raji.. u didn't mean those words nu..maybe I over reacted.."

"Then Why can't u forgive me..Karthik..?"

"Illai Raji..unmela yennala koba pada mudiyaadhu..nee ivlo kashta paduradha parthaa unnai vida yenakku dhaan adhigamaa valikkudhu..pls leave all these.."

"Idhu thaanaa sari agidum..time will heal all the wounds.."

"Appo adhu varaikkum ?

"Wait pannanum.."

"Sari polaamaa ..." he continued..not letting her to talk..

She has nothing to say other than "mmm" half heartedly..

Way to home also passed in silence it looked really very awkward for them to be in silent..

As they reached their home..when he was about to enter his flat...she called him..

"Karthik..."

He looked back at those longing eyes which begged his forgiveness..he was frozen to his place..as to didn't know what and how to react.

She slowly came to him..keeping him captivated in her gaze..he was wondering what she was up to..

She cupped his face ..he looked at her with a blank face..

She hesitated for a second..as if taking initiative was little difficult and uncomfortable for her..but she has no other go..has to do it for him..for them...

She tip toed to match up for his height and slightly pulled his head downwards and softly kissed his lips...

He was awestruck and stood bemused staring at her impassively..

She opened her instinctively closed eyes while she kissed him..trying very hard to look into his eyes..

She wet her dried lips and said..

"Ippavum nee yen mela kobamaa dhaan irupiyaa? She asked as if she had utilized her last weapon..to pacify him..now ball is in his court..all she could do is wait for his shot...

Getting no response from that stone hearten man she turned her back with a defeated face..

But the next moment she slammed his chest hard by his swift unexpected pull..

Their gaze fixed to each other as if both trying to penetrate each other's to read it their mind .

"You no need to do all these ...against ur will.." he said softly..

His words irked her beyond limits..

She pushed him away with a force..and he stumbled a step back .."

"Why the hell u always think it's only u have the demand..Why girls don't feel those urges..?"

Who told u I kissed u against my will..?Do u think I would kiss a person despite of my will..or do u think i am a kind of a girl who will kiss every next person she come across.."

He was stunned to see her outburst..

"Raji.." he uttered in shock.

"So u think I am cheap girl...?"

He shook his head dismissively..

"What rubbish u r talking Raji...?..i didn't mean to say that..i was saying..u no need to do al that to pacify me.."

"Because I know how difficult for u to come out of ur boundaries..and restrictions to take that initiative" he said without taking breath ..trying to solve the misconception as early as he could..

He turned his restless and regretful gaze towards hers..but only to be met with the eyes twinkling with a naughty glint and hidden smile ...

"Ippadi dhaane yenakkum irukkum..?"She asked as if knocking some sense in his hard wooden brain..

"So u were playing..?"He asked accusingly..

"No..No..i made u to get taste of ur own medicine.." she said with her eyes held his accusing one boldly..

They stared each other for a while..and eventually they felt lighter at heart and burst into laughter...as if it could vanish away all the awkwardness and indifferences between them..

Finally he brought her to his embrace and said sorry by kissed her temple lovingly..

She hits his chest with a fist to show her frustration..

He faking the yelp as if pained...

"Yennai konjamaavaa padithina...nee.." she grumbled..

"Sorry ..."he said again caressing her hair and kissing it softly..she placed her head on his shoulder with utmost relief and contentment..

"Yaaro kiss panna maataanennu promise pannaanga...?" she asked mockingly..

"Adhu vera yaaro..."he samalichified...with a absurd smirk...

Next day

Karthik looked his watch for the infinite time and then stared towards the lift opening to the basement parking..

He had a gut feeling that she would ask him a ride to office..

"Am I anticipating too much..?" he asked doubtfully to himself..But his grumbling stopped as he saw her coming out of the lift with all her glory..Clad in beautiful blue saree ..Looking like an angle descended from the heavens..he even hallucinated as if she has been grown wings .and sparkling with magical light around.

She casted her magical smile on him which turned his heart upside down..

"hi.."she waved her hand..

"Hi.."he said staring at her adoringly..

She felt her ears heating up under his swallowing gaze..

"Yenna appadi paarkura?"

"Yenna inikku saree laam?"he asked surprised..

"Chummaa dhaan ...sari polaaamaa?" she tried to change the topic...

"Yenga ?"

"Office ku..."

"Kandipaa office ku poganumaa?nee ok naa vera yengayaavadhu kooda polaam.."he said flirtatiously..

"Idhu onnum sariyaa varaadhu..naan auto laye poikaren.."

"Hey..Raji..office kae polaam vaa..."

"Andha bayam irukattum..." She smiled with smug...

after she sat gracefully on the pillion he raced the bike to zoom out causing her to grip his shoulder for balance.. and smirked mischievously for getting his desired effect...

Netech solutions

KR entering their floor and Vishnu rushed to them..it seemed he was in some sort of a hurry and his face displayed his nervousness clearly..

"Dai..yendaa late..unakku yethanai murai call panradhu..?"he chided Karthik angrily..

"drive pannitu irundhendaa adhaan yedukalai...yaen Yenndaa aachi.?"

"Inga yenna problem odittu irukku theriyumaa?"he asked with a highly tensed voice..

Karthik also had got concern towards the underlying problem which has to be come out with Vishnu's next set of words..

"Target project cancel aagiduchinnu pesikaraanga daa..vera yennenamo solraanga..yenakku onnum puriyala.." he said with a worried face..

"Yenndaa solra..? naama innum presentation kooda pannalai ye..?" karthik asked in shock as the intensity of the situation drowned in..

"Vishvanadhan sir..urgent meeting call panni irukaaru..vaa polaam." he literally dragged Karthik from there..

Leaving behind the mute spectator Raji in bemused condition...
