Chapter 10
"How could you remember what happened? You were so drunk that J had to rescue you from the mess you was." P cried
Sandhya moaned, "Great'it's not a great deal. I got drunk get over it."
P looked in shock, "Something bad will happen to you one day."
"Listen, I'm 21 years old and I'm living the life I like'" Sandhya moaned
P: "Is it you are still young therefore, you shouldn't be getting drunk."
"I can'I will get drunk, take drugs, have fun and enjoy my life'studies are a waste of time. I'm only studying so, I can enjoy my life." Sandhya yelled
P: "You say you are studying so you get the feel of the dangers."
"Yes mum!" Sandhya told mum the truth
P: "This is what you give me in return of what I did to you."
"Explain to me what you have done to me?" Sandhya demanded an answer
P: "I did everything therefore; I can give you a better life. I had scarified everything for you."
"Oh yeah! You are engaged to someone who's younger than you." Sandhya said
P: "Yes! He's been a rock to me ever since your dad died."
"Oh yeah! I have serious doubts about that." S said
P, "Sandhya you are getting too much'you must be quiet and get to your room now."
Sandhya had left with Sanjay and Jeeva looking at this very shockingly.
"Auntie, don't worry 'Sandhya will understand you one day." J replied
"P just be calm and brave as S will you soon'" Sanjay replied
J suggested, "Just be tough auntie' or let Sandhya live alone as she wish'"
"Jeeva, have you got something that I don't know about'especially the last few months I have noticed there has been serious changes in her." P demanded
Sanjay looked at P and replied, "Listen hun! There's nothing to worry about. Sandhya is fine and nothing bad will happen to her."
"No! No! No! I ain't satisfied. I think something has happened to Sandhya'" Preethi moaned
"No darling'nothing bad will happen to Sandhya. I can assure you that." Sanjay calmed her down and hugged her and took her to her room.
"Jeeva, please come outside." Sanjay requested him
They went outside, seeing the moon brightly sparkled and the breeze was flowing outside very quietly. It was a humid night.
Sanjay said, "Jeeva you should be careful what you tell P."
"Why?" J asked
Sanjay explained, "She can't take anything affecting Sandhya. She believes S is her life."
"I know you what Sandhya has been my life. I want to marry her one day." J said
"You are mad! S isn't your type'she doesn't treat you with respect and wont understand you at all." Sanjay said
J: "One day she will understand me and I will definitely marry her."
"No, she wont understand you unless if something big happens to her. My only concern is I don't you to be affected by this." S explained
"I will get married to her whatever you say and she needs to live alone first." J suggested
Sanjay asked, "Why?"
"She could understand what her mother has done for her." J explained
"This sounds harsh for her but, she needs to create an opportunity like this." S suggested
J said, "How?"
"You just wait and see'" Sanjay assured
Chapter 11
Today was Sunday, and all the girls were at the park discussing about how there week went.
"It was the same usual stuff." T said
J smiled, "Twinkle always has no problems. She is known as Mrs Perfect."
"Jyothi'please I ain't perfect at all'I try my best to make myself the perfect parent." T smiled
Viji laughed, "T is always perfect, and there is never a problem."
"My problems are dealt inside the house and both couples have a very good understanding despite we argue mad." T smiled as she hugs N
N said, "Tarun hopefully, we get his divorce finalised very soon he has promised me."
"I don't see that happening N. You should find yourself a very good looking man." P requested
N firmed on her answer, "Tarun is my life. I know he will be there for me one day."
"I don't see that darling. You are going to end up hurt! He will cheat on you with another girl." J said, "I'm telling you, from my own experience.
Neema stood there thinking for a while, "I will see when faith lies on me." She replies
Meanwhile, the conversation goes to Viji, "So how's your admirer?"
"Don't start on him'I am going to kill that clown sooner or later." V said
T smiled, "You never know it could be Harish. I can see the chemistry between you and him."
"Harish would never do such a thing." V complemented, "he's such a straightforward person. He never does such cheap things."
"Cheap! No da romantic gestures." N smiled
Then, a small child approached Viji giving her a letter. Viji was shocked to see a letter written to her; Neema smiled and immediately grabbed the letter reading:
"Viji, tonight meet me at this park wearing something radiant, traditional and glamorous. Please don't say you can't come otherwise, I will die and you will have to live with guilt forever. Please come alone don't bring your friends especially Neema because they have no understanding of our love."
"First, of all'I have a very good understanding of true love. This clown needs a tight slap'if I see him he's a gonna for sure. Viji I advise you to meet this fool and tell him you love Harish." Neema explained
V looked in shock, "I don't love Harish'he's a very good friend."
T smiled, "Please explain what you have written in your diary."
"What has it been written?" V questioned
J smiled, "Every page you have written about H, from how much he has done to you from the day you had spilt up with your previous true love. That guy is not your true love but he wants to use you again. Men are always like this especially what my husband did was unforgiveable. He left me for another woman whom he had an affair ever since I got married to him. I actually caught him in our bedroom."
"Jyothi, ignore him he horrid. You're better off with another eligible bachelor who will treat you like a queen." Twinkle smiled
Jyothi could remember the words that were recalled by her sister just before she divorced him.
"Viji, could this admirer be your ex lover?" Preethi questioned
"I hope not. I had forgotten about him for over 5 years after, Harish had supported me right from the day my lover left me." V sighed
"Your such a strong person'I don't what I would of done if my Sanjay or Sandhya had left me." Preethi sighed
"Don't worry both of them will stay with you especially Sanjay he loves you loads." Jyothi smiled
"I know he won't but, I hope Tarun will stay with me forever." Neema complemented
"Don't worry he wont trust me. He loves you!" Preethi said
Twinkle doubted, "Don't put your expectations to high N. He doesn't sound a descent guy."
"Girls, I am going to seek for this mystery admirer and get it sorted." V replied
They all talked joyfully whilst, J and T's kids were playing in the park on the swings. Suji smiled, "Arun, its so nice to see all our mummies having a great time."
"Yeah, after all of them have gone through so much in life." A replied
"Indeed, especially your amma who has been through so much and she's still smiling." S replied
Meanwhile, Anita came running asking, "Were's all the daddies? It would be nice to see them coming."
Suji told A, "All the daddies will come later and we could all play cricket one day.
Arun was sad, "My appa won't come because he doesn't like me."
"Don't say that silly! You have 2 sisters, another mummy and daddy." Suji smiled
"Ahem! Yh'anna you are my brother." Anita said, as she hugged A giving him a kiss on the cheeks.
"Thanks da. You are the best." Arun smiled and hugged S and A
All of this were heard by the girls who were smiling especially J who felt very sentimental after hearing this and almost broke down into tears.
T hugged her telling her, "God bless you to have a very good son. He will treat you like a queen one day."
Jyothi felt so blessed and hugged her son while Suji and Anita were smiling at this remarkable scene.
Chapter 12
Later on this evening, V sitting down confused as ever to the letter'she was thinking who would ever write her these letters. She didn't want to go and meet this stranger but, she wants to get everything clear and sorted.
V was about to dress up until, the door bell rang which, and someone had delivered her parcel. She took it inside, and was shocked to see her favourite sari that she wore to the graduation party which, she lost it after visiting her former lover.
The sari was a nice shade of pink with pink stones, she was happy to see the sari. Along with it were the accessories to go along with it. The same accessories, she wore at the party. Inside that a small note was found:
"I have chosen you the sari you love; please meet me by the park."
Viji quickly got dressed; she smiled remanding of the graduation party where she had a great time. She sparkled like the shining star and smiled to her self as she loved the sari so much that she used to wear it every time she goes out to a special occasion.
One hour later, V was out in the park sitting by the entrance waiting for this mysterious person. She had just arrived there, and was confused however; the full moon kept her smiling all along while the wind breezed like an invisible ghost. It was 7.30pm and the park was quiet and the river was flowing slowly as the lilies were blossoming in different colours constantly opening and closing its mouth wanting to eat flies catching like a lizard. V couldn't keep her eyes off her sari because she always loved it and kept it as her valuable possession. Her mobile phone began to ring and it was on private number.
"Hi darling!" the voice echoed
"Hi!" V repled, "Who's this?"
"I see your admiring your sari so much." The stranger echoed
"Thanks for giving it to me. Who the hell are you?" V moaned
"Calm down Viji'I can see you at the park." The stranger moaned, "Now I want to stand up."
Viji stood up, "Then what? Do you want to stand like some lemon?"
"No, fools just keep on walking straight." Stranger said and so she did, which her heels make a horse sound, "I love your shoes'she pretty woman."
"Shut up!" Viji yelled
"You don't tell me to shut up. Now you stand there and look towards the left." Stranger rippled
V looked towards the left and was shocked to see a lake and the moon is seen more clearly and bigger. V walked down there and found no one was there, "Look, clearly I'm wasting time here." V yelled however, the phone cut off. V was annoyed and wanted to slap this stranger/ admirer."
A few minutes' later footsteps were heard. V was extremely scared and wanted to run until, this person had grabbed her hand, rotating her who immediately kissed her passionately. V held her eyes shut, was extremely scared and didn't know she was kissing someone.
Viji opened her eyes and was shocked, "Mahesh, how dare you." She slapped him and walked off but, he grabbed her hand pushing her to him.
"V, I'm sorry what I did to you nine years ago." Mahesh protested
V looked sternly, "I'm not going to forgive you. Give me reasons why I forgive you ?"
"I love you, it was due to circumstances I left you." M insisted
V complained, "What circumstances? You couldn't hold a relationship with me."
"I had my studies to think about." M replied
V looked, "I too had studies, you know I taught you was my life, I even left everything for you, did so much and even never listened to other people's advise. You were so arrogant, uncaring and always put me down. You had always insulted my religion and insulted my name and family. You played mind games with me and I was never happy during the 3 years I was with you at uni. How could you expect me to forgive you? "
"These were in the past'I have changed and I want you to accept my apologises and we can have a life together." M insisted
"I am not'you dumped me in a way that wouldn't be forgiven." V told him
M begged, "Listen that was all in the past."
V said, "Do you know how much problems I was going through after you left me?"
"You wouldn't since, you always forgotten things." M said
V looked, "Nope! It took me so many months to forget you. My grades went so down, I had problems at work, I couldn't study and I even committed suicide."
"No way! You committed suicide and I couldn't believe this from you." M joked
V slapped him, "It's not a joke, I'm serious but thankfully I was rescued from a gentleman who cared me and brought me back confidence."
Oh, the former lover again.. what Viji is going to do.. We cannot change our mind easily from one person to other. Even if we did so, when the previous person, whom we think we have forgotten, enters again, it bothers us a lot.. I pity on Viji..
