Chapter 7
After a while Panditji left giving them a list of things that would be required for the engagement and soon the elders got busy in the work, Nisha too decided to leave for her work. Since Kabir had a leave he decided to drop her and then he would come home and spend his entire day with Adhyaa as she had a holiday from school.
They left Adhyaa with the cousins and drove on Nisha's scotty and this time Kabir was driving it and not Nisha, she just sat behind hugging him from back and leaning on him
"So, bas do din aur phir tu officially meri" Kabir said as he drove and Nisha blushed slightly
"Main toh kab se teri hi hun Kabir" she said as she hugged him little more tightly
"Acha, abh bata teri kya kya demands hai?" he questioned her taking her by a surprise
"Matlab?"
"Har ladki ki demands hoti hai kuch dreams hote hai apne shadi ko leke, toh tere kya dreams hai and demands hai? Abhi se bata de toh main prepared rahun" he said and chuckled
"Urm, Kabir, ek kaam karte hai, hum sab na matlab tu, main aur Adhyaa, ek hi colour ke dress pehenge" Nisha said excitedly
"Haan, taki hum sab band wale lagena? Same colour costume?" Kabir joked and Nisha hit his arm
"Ja mujhe nahi batani tujhe meri demands" she scowled and sat straight holding the back of the scotty
"Arey yaar tu chid kyun gai, main Mazak kar raha tha" he apologised as he missed her warmth and was guilty to make her upset.
"Rehnede mujh nahi batana abh tujhe" she huffed and replied, Kabir didn't know how to pacify her but he being him got an idiotically amazing idea and he ended up applying sudden breaks that caused Nisha to crash with his hard chest and she wrapped her arm around his waist.
"Kya kar raha hai Kabir?" Nisha asked
"Break mara aur kya" he replied shrugging off his shoulders in a casual way
"Sab samajhti hun main, behave yourself Kabir" Nisha warned him
"Behave? Vo kya hota hai Nisha?" he asked innocently and annoyed her
The entire way they kept having their cute nok-jhok and soon reached the Academy, Kabir parked the scotty and both got down
"Yeh Academy ghar se itni nazdeek kyun hai? Kitna kaam time spend karne mila tere saath" Kabir complained like a small kid that made Nisha adore him.
"Koi baat nahi mujhe bas 2 ghante ka kaam hai phir ghar aajaungi" Nisha replied cheekily and Kabir faked a smile
"Kabir aise mat kar na, mera dhyaan nahi lagega kaam main" Nisha said as she knew it would be difficult for her to concentrate is he left the place dejected.
"Theek hai ja" Kabir smiled and let her go, but only after a teddy hug which was little satisfying for him.
Nisha smiled and waved him as she went inside the Academy and went to her desk and started sorting the files when Priyanka came to her along with her friends.
"Kya baat hai Nisha, hume toh laga tha ki Saurav aapki choice hai par aapki choice toh better hai" Priyanka taunted Nisha but instead of replying her she kept doing her work.
"Waise kafi close hai shayad dono! Nahi?" Ekta too joined Priyanka
"Can you please leave me alone? Mujhe bohut kaam hai!" Nisha ignored them completely
"Kyun? Sach sunke acha nahi laga? Jab parking main uss ladke ko itne hug kar rahi thi tab bohut acha laga hoga na?" Priyanka replied trying to provoke Nisha
"Mujhe tumhe koi explanation nahi dena hai Priyanka, please mujhe mera kaam karne do" Nisha replied sternly once again concentrated on her work but Priyanka was adamant to go from there as it would be an insult for her if she left like this
"Waise humne suna hai ki tumhari ek beti bhi hai? Kahin tum dono ki najayaaz beti toh..."
"Priyanka" Nisha roared like a lioness and stopped Priyanka from speaking further, she kept her file aside and walked to her in anger
"Dare you speak a word about my daughter Priyanka" Nisha warned her, hearing her voice Viraj and Kaira too had come out of the cabin
"Kyun? Humne jab sach kaha toh..."
"Tum sach janti bhi nahi ho Priyanka, aur jab kisi baat ke bare main kuch pata na ho uss bare main baat hi nahi karni chahiye" Nisha cut her off again
"Kya ho raha hai yahan?" Viraj came to them to know the matter
"Dekhiye na Bhai, humne toh bas sach hi kaha, abh jab bina shadi kiye kisi ki beti hogi toh duniya toh use naja..."
"Enough Priyanka, kaha na maine jab tum sach janti nahi toh usske bare main baat mat karo" Nisha said in a louder voice this time "Meri beti najayaaz nahi hai, samajhi?" she had tears in her eyes, not of guilt or pain but of anger!
"Toh phir kya kahe hum use? Bina shadi kiye tumhari ek bacchi hai... isse tumhara character bhi sabit ho raha hai" Priyanka said like she wasn't affected by Nisha's words
"Zaaban sambhal ke baat kijiye Madam"
They all turned around to see Kabir standing at the door, he walked in or rather stormed in and stood in front of Priyanka
"Main aapni Biwi ke bare main ek shabad nahi sununga"
He was in full form now and Priyanka got little scared hearing his voice but masked a fake attitude on her face
"Wow! Biwi and all, hum sab ko pata hai ki Nisha ki shadi nahi hui hai"
"Kyun, aap sab antaryami hai jo aap ko sab pata hoga?" Kabir asked her everyone chuckled and giggled and Priyanka felt embarrassed and insulted
"Nisha aur meri shadi 3 saal pehle ho chuki hai, sorry aapko invite nahi kiya, par hum apni 3rd anniversary celebrate karne ke liye dubara shadi kar rahe hai, iss baar aap zaroor aayega" Kabir replied politely, as he knew loosing his calm could make the situation worse, he then turned to Nisha "Yeh le, tera phone mere pass reh gaya tha, dene aaya tha" he handed Nisha the phone and was about to leave. As he soon as he turned t o leave Nisha caught his hand
"Rukh Kabir, main bhi aa rahi hun tere saath" she looked at Viraj and continued "Main uss jagah kaam nahi kar sakti jahan log meri Beti ke baare main ulti seedhi baatien kare"
"Nisha, humari baat suniye" Kaira tried to stop her but Nisha gave her an apologetic look
"I am sorry for my words, chal Kabir" Nisha took him out, as soon as they came out Nisha hugged him tightly and started crying.
Kabir was taken back with her sudden action but later reciprocated the hug
"Nisha, kya hua?" he rubbed her back in order to calm her down
"Kabir ussne Princess ko..." she couldn't complain and broke down again
"Nisha tu uski baton pe dhyaan kyun de rahi hai?" Kabir said and tried making her understand that what people say is irrelevant.
"Toh aur kya karun? Tujhe pata hai Kabir, mujhe aisa laga jaise kisine mujhe marne ki koshish ki jab ussne aisa kaha" she said as she broke the hug
"Nisha" Kabir cupped her face and continued "Tu janti hai sach kya hai, main janta hun ki sach kya hai, humari family sach janti hai, baki puri duniya kya sochti hai uska hume kya karna hai? Aur waise bhi sirf ek hafta aur phir hum officially Adhyaa ke parents honge"
He concluded as he pulled her back in a hug and soothed her back
"Mujhse abh aur intezaar nahi hoga Kabir, mujhe jald se jald shadi karni hai" Nisha said and hugged him tightly
"Kya baat hai Nisha? Sirf Adhyaa ke wajah se itni jaldi hai kya aapka irada kuch aur hai?" Kabir tried to joke in this serious situation and Nisha gave him a stern look as she broke the hug
"Suhdar ja Kabir, warna kisi din buri tarah pitega tu mujhse" Nisha warned him and he immediately caught his ears which made her smile a bit, it was only him who could make her smile in such situations!
"Nisha" they heard someone call her and saw Kaira coming there
"I am sorry Nisha, Priyanka ki taraf se hum mafi mangte hai" she apologised but Nisha stopped her asking her not to do so as she was not the one to be blamed
"Academy ko aapki zaroorat hai Nisha, mat jiye please" Kaira requested
"Ma'am mujhe thoda time chahiye" Nisha said and looked down
"Theek hai, phir aap 1 week ka time le lijiye, but wapas aa jiye please" Kaira smiled and Nisha nodded.
"Shadi main zaroor aaiyega Ma'am aur unn Madam ko bhi leke aaiyega, sagai do din baad hai uss ke liye bhi aaiyega" Kabir invited her and she promised to come there with Viraj and Priyanka. Nisha and Kabir too left for home as their Princess was waiting for them.
