A NiBir Drabble||insecurities||
I saw him once again ...but as usual he didn't even glance at me, maybe he didn't notice as usual. I tried to be more accentuate for him by coughing, exerting all my acting skills into it, to make it look more real, but he seemed to be extremely insouciant about me. I looked at him insidiously, as he stood there at the corner of the cafeteria, discussing something with those skimpy and smarmy new female interns, who instead of doing their work, are more keenly interested in sticking to him, like an adherent of high quality, okay leave those girls, what about him, who I don't know, whether he is more interested in teaching them some work or flirting with them??. Sometimes, I feel extreme contemplation about myself, my looks, all thanks to him.
He is a smug...an irritating smug...!" I shouted out of nowhere, forgetting about the place surrounding me. But as soon as I realized a few eyes glaring at me, I let out an embarrassed smile, showing my helplessness.
You make me insane kabirr...I feel like pushing you off a cliff sometimes...but what should I do...I love you ...and because of that you are safe!" I thought within almost making a murder plan.
I behaved not to be concerned about him, as I peeped into my phone..but again the wallpaper of my phone made me look at his not so innocent yet cute face"
Arrrgghhh...how can I forget, that he is everywhere, in my heart , in my mind, In me...and ridiculously in my phone too...why do I love him so much...??" I again shouted aloud , not realizing the place, making those eyes look at me once more, making me a little more embarrassed , I tried hiding my face behind my office files, and that's when he noticed me, finally, maybe! As he saw me, he gave a wide smile, and started walking towards me, giving one of those girls a side hug,
Side hug...??damn Why..??" I glared at him as he walked towards me, with a cup of coffee in his hand.
As he came up to me, he gave his cheekiest smile, making me let out a little smile, not to him, but within. He came towards me, getting his chair and sat beside me, and handed the cup to me, which was already half emptied.
Helloww baby..."he said as he finally noticed me.
He is ridiculous" I thought.
I glared at him with questioning eyes pointing at the cup of coffee. He immediately replied,
Aarree...nishu peele...tere liye hi bachayi thi...jhoota peene se pyaar badhta hain yaar.." he exclaimed.
I got amazed at his inborn tendency to use these cheesy lines to woo me after making me angry.
Ohhh...really..you care for me so muchh??? then what were you doing there with those skimpy girls since half an hour leaving your expecting wife to expect you to come and have lunch with her?? and most importantly not even noticing her, can I know why? " I shouted and looked at him resentfully for loving him. He got a little frightened at my sudden outburst.
Nishaa...shaantt hojaa...I love you only...i know it's because of your mood swings that you are shouting on me...but calm down...it may effect the baby..n u" he said showing all his concern and love trying to pacify me.
I looked at him with a complete expression of seethe in my eyes. he understood my mood, and he neared me a little. He held my hand, and slid his hand through my hair, playing with my curls.
I understood that he was up to his k'ness, trying to melt my anger away, again I busted out on him, for doing this, it's not that I didn't like him doing all this, but I was supposedly angry on him. And seeing the people looking at us once again with weird eyes,
Kabirrr...i said stay away...behave yourself...this is our goddamn office...why don't you understand..?" I shouted on him standing up from my chair, as he tried nearing me.
So...what...??!?" he shouted back on me and tears immediately inundated in my eyes, I have given no one the authority to come in between , while I am busy romancing my wife! " he said in his huskiest tone making me sit down once again.
I looked the other way folding my hands, trying to act gloomy and acrimonious, not talking to him. He felt guilty for shouting on me, and he knelt to the ground before me, held his ears like a kid, and said,
Achchaa...baba...sorry...aage se kabhi tujhpe nahi chillaunga...kabhi kisi intern se baat nahi karungaa...chahe wo ladki ho ya ladkaa..."
I giggled a little at his cuteness, facing the other way.
Terii...har baat manungaa...tere banaaye hua khaana khaate waqt nakhre nahi karungaa..." He continued reciting all his lines like a poem.
This guy knew due to his instinct...how to make my mood right when it wasn't on the right track and most importantly he was too cute and loved me so much although acts irritating sometimes, but maybe that's why I loved him.
What did he mean by tera banaaya hua khaana khaake?" I thought and glared at him.
Abb kis baat pe gussa aagayaa...??" he asked not able to understand me.
But I thought of letting it be, as his " get scolded" by me portion was over for today, I finally burst out laughing holding my stomach , I felt like pulling his cheeks and kissing them right then, but abstained myself from doing so, seeing the place,
Nishaa...I can't understand your mood...kabhi gussa hoti hain...kabhi rone lag jaati hain...kabhi hasti hain paagalon ki tarah..." he said all amazed at me.
I want to go home...I am tired...take a leave naa...i want to go out too...with you...we'll have lunch outside..." I said pouting like a kid looking at him.
He sighed convulsively seeing my remorseless actions, and giggled a bit.
You amaze me nishaa...that's why I love you so much..." said he standing up, and giggling looking towards me.
I grabbed my bag, and pulled him along with me gripping his arm, as we were about to pass through those skimpy and smarmy girls, he slid his hand through my waist, leaving me to blush and them to burn in anger, to add some more to their jealousy, I wrapped my hand around him, and leaned my head on his arm, while we walked, making them burn a little more. He laughed like no more than a mania-hit person, after seeing my jealousy, but I replied him by pecking both of his cheeks.
