NiBir Os- Symbols of Our Love

Hey NiBirians🤗, Ammu had requested me to write an OS long ago😉, but because of my FF's and other works, I couldn't post then😆, but its rightly said, "Der aaye, durust aaye...🤣" So I'm posting it now😉. Ammu, I hope this meets your expectations😃. Enjoy and Like/Comment😊

He sat on one the chairs outside the Labor Room. His 5 year old daughter, Kisha was talking with her Dolly Maasi and Sukku Mama.

Kisha- Maasi, Hum Mumma ko hospital kyun le aaye hai?

Dolly- Woh naya baby aane wala hai na... Isiliye...

Kisha- Woh kaha se aayega?

Dolly- Mumma ke tummy se...

Kisha- Woh waha kaise pahucha?

Sukku- Yeh sawaal tum apne Papa se kyun nahi puchti?

Dolly looked at him in anger while he tried to control his laughter knowing the tough situation Kabir was about to face.

Kisha got down from the chair and went to her Papa, intertwined her small fingers in his long ones. Kabir looked at her and smiled.

Kabir- (making her sit next to her) Kya hua princess?

Kisha- Papa, baby Mumma ke tummy mein kaise pahucha?

Kabir looked at her shock. He looked at his in-laws. Sukku was smirking and Dolly made an I am sorry' wala face.

Kabir- Woh, kya hai na... Mumma ke tummy... (remembering the explanation his wifey had given to their daughter once)Haan... God ne baby ko Mumma ke tummy mein bheja, jab unhe pata chala ki aapko ek baby sister chahiye... Aap bhul gaye? Mumma ne aapko bataya tha na?

Kisha- Oh ha... Par papa, agar aisa hai, toh Mumma aisa kyun keh rahi thi aapki wajah se hi ghar mein sab gadbad hoti hai?

Sukku- Bilkul sahi kaha tune chutki, Yeh Kabir hi saari gadbadon ki jad hai...

He stifled laughter as Kabir made an angry face.

Kabir- Aisa nahi hai Baby, kya aapki baby sister ek gadbad hai?

Kisha- Pata nahi, par Mumma keh rahi thi ki agar woh aap par gayi, toh woh gadbad hi hogi...

Dolly and Kabir looked at her horrified.

Sukku-(laughing) Yaar Nishu ne kaunsa janam ka badla liya tujhse? Isse kaise ulti-sulti patti padhayi hai?

Kabir- Ab mujhe pata chala ki Nishu har janam mujhe hi apna pati kyun banana chahti hai...

Kisha- Kyunki wohi hai jo aapko sambhal sakti hai...Warna aapko kaun sambhalega?

Dolly too giggled and stopped when Kabir made a baby face.

Dolly- Kishu, aisa nahi bolte...

Kisha- Par Mumma ne hi aisa bola tha...

Dolly- Kishu, yahaan aayo, tumhe chocolate chahiye?

Kisha-(happily) haan chahiye...

He looked at the Labor Room again as his daughter walked away. Nisha's screams could be heard. He was getting tensed now.

*1 hour ago*

Kabir and Nisha had gone to pick Kisha from her Dolly Maasi's house. After spending some time at Dolly's house, they were about to sit in the car, when Nisha screamed.

Nisha- (holding her baby bump in pain) Ahhh...

Kabir- (worried) Nisha kya hua?

Nisha- (in pain) Kabir, I think... Ahhh... It's broken...

Dolly- Kabir, I think we better go to the hospital...

Kabir nodded and picked his wifey in his arms, laid her on the back seat and started driving towards the hospital.

Dolly- (stroking Nisha's hair) Nishu... breathe kar... relax Nishu...

Nisha- (feeling a contraction) Di, bahut dard... (she tried to breathe)

Kisha- (from the front seat) Mumma, kya hua?

Nisha- Kuch nahi angel... Ahh...

Kisha- (nearly in tears) Papa, dekho naa, mumma ko kya ho raha hai...

Kabir- Princess, kuch nahi hua hai Mumma ko... aap relax karo...

Dolly- Haan Kisha, Mumma ko todha sa dard hoga... that's it...

Kisha nodded and stared saying a prayer to God to heal her Mumma. Others looked at her in awe. His daughter's innocence made Kabir drive faster.

They reached the hospital; Kabir laid Nisha on the stretcher. Kabir wanted to be with Nisha, but the doctor didn't allow him in the Labor room, much to his dismay. Dolly informed the family members, and they would be here any moment.

*Flashback ends*

Kabir watched his daughter talk with her Maasi and remembered the day when Nisha gave him the good news.

*Flashback*

Kisha was in school and Kabir had just come from his dance academy.

Kabir- (hugging Nisha) Hi wifey...

Nisha- hey hubby... (She kissed him on his cheek) I have a surprise for you. (She handed him a paper)

Kabir- (after giving the paper mere glance, in shock) hospital report? (holding Nisha's shoulder) Kya hua hai tumhe? Tum thikh toh ho? Mujhe bataya kyun nahi?

Nisha- (cupping his face) Jaan, relax... At least, poori report toh padho...

Kabir read the report and squealed in joy...

Kabir- (happily) You are pregnant? (picking her in his arms and twirling) Oh my god! That's such a great news... (He put her down and hugged her) Thank you for such a wonderful surprise yaar... (He planted a soft kiss on her forehead)

* Flashback ends*

He smiled. He felt someone's hand on his shoulder so looked up. It was Ramesh.

Ramesh- Sab kuch thikh hoga beta...

Kabir- I know Papa... Nishu is strong, and my princess won't trouble her much...

Ramesh smiled. Suddenly Nisha's screams became inaudible and a baby's cries became audible. Kabir was becoming impatient. After a few minutes, the Labor Room's door opened and a nurse came out of the room.

Nurse- (smiling) It's a baby girl... Mother and child both are healthy... no need to worry...

Kabir wiped a lone tear that escaped his eye and thanked the nurse. His family members smiled with happiness shining in their eyes.

Laxmi- (to the nurse) Kya hum Nishu se mil sakte hai?

Nurse- Unhe special room mein shift karne ke baad aap unhe mil sakte hai... Excuse me... (she left)

Sukku- (hugging Kabir) Congrats yaar, tu phirse papa ban gaya...

Kabir- Aur tu Mama... (He looked at his daughter who had no idea why her family members were so happy. He went to her and hugged her) Princess, aapki baby sister aa gayi...

Kisha- (now understanding the whole thing) Sachi papa? (happily) Yay! (She started dancing) Chalo na papa, milte hai meri sister se...

Suddenly the nurse came back and told them that Nisha and the child were sent to the room.

Kabir- (to Kisha) Chalo, aapki sister se milte hai...

They went in Nisha's room. Nisha was lying on the bed unconscious because of medicines. Near her bed was the cradle with his daughter. She was playing. A smile crept on Kabir and Kisha's face. Kisha squealed in joy and ran to the cradle. At that moment Nisha was coming to consciousness. The nurse present there gave her an injection and went. Nisha was now fully conscious and smiling at Kabir. Kabir sat on the bed next to Nisha.

The cradle was too high for the 5 year girl and she was jumping, but her efforts were in vain. Still that didn't stop Nisha and Kabir's jiddi daughter to sit down quietly.

Kabir- (caressing her hair) Are you ok?

Nisha- (intertwining her fingers with his) Hmm...

Kabir kissed her forhead.

Kabir- Dekha, maine kaha tha na, princess hogi... Jo bilkul tumhari... (Nisha smiled) Nahi meri tarah hogi... (Nisha's smiled turned into a frown. Judging her expression he smiled) Arrey baba, Humari dusri beti bhi tumhari tarah hai... Ab khush?

Nisha- Nahi, her eyes are like yours...par I hope woh tumhari tarah Gadbad karne waali nahi ho...Already ek ko sambhal rahi ho, ab aur nahi...

She winked. Kabir frowned and then laughed. He side hugged her. He went to the cradle and picked the baby up in his arms and kissed her forehead. Kisha looked at him and said,

Kisha- Mujhe bhi baby ko dekhna hai...

Kabir gave the baby to Nisha who kissed her forehead. Kisha following her parents' actions kissed the baby's forehead. NiBir smiled.

Kisha- papa, ab hum teeno milkar Mumma ko khub pareshan karenge... Hai na?

Nisha- Oye, zyaada masti chadi hai? (saying so she smiled and pinched her elder daughter's cheeks)

The family members entered the room and smiled looking at the family.

Ramesh- Hume bhi toh apni choti happy waala gaana dekhna hai...

Kisha- Dekho Nanu, Baby bilkul Mumma aur meri tarah dikhti hai...

Laxmi- Sacch, bilkul Nishu par gayi hai...

Dolly- (caressing the new born's cheeks) Waise Kishu, apni sister ka naam kya rakha hai tumne?

Kisha- Maasi, Kirti Maasi ne ek naam suggest kiya hai, bataau?

Sukku- Kirti kabse naam suggest karne lagi? Kya kaha usne, bata toh zara...

Kisha- Unhone kaha, jaise Aman Mami ne Mumma- Papa ka naam join karke mera naam rakha, waise hi mera aur Mumma- Papa ka naam join karke hum baby ka naam rakhenge...Matlab, Papa ka "KA" Mumma ka "SH" and mera "ISH" milkar bana "Kashish". Kaisa naam hai?

Laxmi- Bilkul aapki tarah... Sweet... (She kissed her granddaughter's cheeks)

NiBir looked at each other. Their love and togetherness was always complete, but today, again it got a fresh start, a start with the two symbols of their love...
