Atleast when nisha finally started responding to him she was out of her 'toota dil mode' for sometime atleast. I guess that is what he wanted as well. Why was he so hell bent on helping her even i cannot explain, nt everything cn be explained can it? People may call it interferance i saw it as his destiny with nisha.He did mention that so many ppl go through a break up but there are ppl who hv bigger problems so u cant just hold on to that u need to move ahead and he was absolutely right there. If he would directly pacify her she wud never listen to him so he found an indirect way to do it.

Everyone has unknown feelings hidden withen them, which are known to them only when they experience them. In kabir's case he initially decided to just put on a gathiya daamad act but when he experienced the love and care frm nisha's family he could not be so k. Inspite of that he struggled with his k ness when lakhshmi gave him the GH keys. That is when he experienced a mother's love a feeling completely unknown to him. Later he was supported by ramesh and he experienced a father's love the bond even which we loved to see. How could kabir not feel the same and change. New feelings do make changes in us.

Abt kabir giving up on his smartness when nisha was in the hospital was nt surprising for me or out of character. That is when he realised he loves her dearly. He was so caught up in retaining his k ness that he denied the fact that nisha and her family were nw an intergral part of his life. That is the reason he told nisha he doesnt kn y he feels upset when he hurts lakshmi or ramesh. That turmoil of k kabir and and the good kabir was always there. He didnt think smartly while nisha was in the hospital, it happens i myself take strong decisions most of the times i dont panic in difficult situations but when it comes to my loved ones i am emotionally crippled. That is what kabira was shown to do he was smart while saving chandu but when it came to nisha whom he loved so much he could not think clearly.

So i feel kabir was never out of character it was just an alteration to his k character brought out by circumstances and i am sure he would regain his k self once everything was sorted.
