Chapter 2

It had been nearly a year that she realised her love for kabir. It was kabir met with a accident, he had injuries on his head and had fractured his right arm. Nisha could'nt see him like this sha was broken to core. Seeing him in such a condition she felt a pain in her heart which cannot be expressed . sitting beside him seeing him being supported by machines and wires made her heart weep and left her soul shattered.that xvery day he ralised that kabir was not just her bestie any more infact had become her reason to live. Nisha helped kabir all through his recovery period and all this was watched by ramesh . he knew his daughter well and her each and every action talked xabout the immense love she had for him. After kabir was discharged ramesh asked Nisha whether she liked kabir . Nisha at first was shocked but gave herself some courage aand accepted her feelings in front of ramesh.nisha was making herself ready to hear a scolding from her father but to her surprise her father didnot scold her infact praised her choice and asked her to confession her feelings to kabir as soon as possible. Since that day she tried many times but everytime her use to betray her and then finally her internship letter arrived and went to delhi.

Nisha heard a knock at the door and came out of her thoughts . it was her mother who had came to check whether she was still ready or not but she was surprised to see her all ready. Nisha was wearing a golden colour anarkali and was looking no less than a princess. Lakhmi applied a kala tikka at the back of her ear . they heard sakku calling Nisha from downstairs and went there. Her dadi was xvery happy to see her granddaughter so happy after so long . she came near her, kissed her forehead and asked her to take care. Nisha and sukku left for the venue . they arrived at around 8:15. Nisha was very happy to see her entire gang together after so long. She firstly went to kriti and wished her birthday and gave her the present. Then she met dolly(kriti's cousin sister and nisha's soul sister),jawla(kriti's sister),umesh(dolly's brother) and sourav (kriti's boyfriend).they all chatted a lot and enjoyed their time . Then after around an hour sukku bid a bye to them and went. Others were still chatting but Nisha was now getting impatient. She was not a part of the conversation anymore she was looking everywhere hoping to get a glimpse of the person she is waiting for.

Half an hour later Nisha is sitting all by herself at a table waiting impatiently for someone's arrival while others are busy in the party. She lokks at her phone its already 9:45. She starts going through their selfies on her phone and all her irritation vanises from her face and a cute littlesmile appeared on her face as she went through their pictures . while going through them she remembered something kabir always use to say to her "tu mujhe yaad karegi aur mein prakat hojauga shakshat" she giggled her her thought and talked to herself "itni baar call kiya uska toh ki answer nhi aur prakat hojauga shakshat ...jootha"

Just then somebody closed her eyes from behind

Nisha-kuan hai

The person- (coming close to her ears)jisko tum abhi galliyan de rahi thi wahi hai

Nisha -(excitedly) kabirr

Got up turned and hugged him or nearly jumped on him kabir didn't expected this and had to take the help of table to balance himself . after balancing himself he also hugged Nisha tight.

Kabir- i missed so much Nisha.

Nisha -sachi

Kabir - sachi.mchi,kuchi Nisha ki bachi(happily)

Nisha (breaking the hug but with hands still on each other) tu jooth bol raha hai

Kabir -( shocked) nhi kyun

Nisha - accha agar miss kiya toh bataya kyun nhi kit u aa raha hai. Aur tert flight toh 8 bheje land karna wali thi toh yaha aane mein itni der kyun lagi bol (faking anger)

Kabir- arre yaar nishu tujhe surprise dena tha issliye nhi bataya . aur rhi baat late hona kit oh tut oh janti hai na ki mujhe tere b'day ke sibae kisi aur ka yaad hi nhi raheta toh as usual mein kriti ke b'day ke baare mein bhul gaya tha (Nisha blushed) .woh toh accha hua ki tune kal btaya diya tha .toh jaise hi land kiya ghar gaya fresh hua and phir kriti madam ke liye gift laya aur phir sidha yaha . aur yaha aate hi sabse phele tujhse milne ayya hun ( giving a big smile)

Nisha - accha accha thik hai ab jaa aur kriti ko wish kar de

Kabir - haan (thinking) ek min ek min tujhe kaise pata chala ki meri flight 8 bhej land hone wali hai haan(suspiciously)

Nisha - woh papa ne galti se bata diya tha

Kabir - par kyun maine strictly mana kiya tha

Nisha - actually hua yeh ki ...(sha narrates the entire story)

Kabir- ooh toh yeh baat hai . toh madam tujhe pata tha ki teri aankhe maine bannd ki hai phir kuan kuan (imitating her) kyun kar rhi thi??

Nisha - (looking here and there ) woh agar tujhe pata chal jata ki mujhe pata hai toh tu sad ho jata na iss liye

Kabir - (smiling) (sidehugging her) aww u care so much for me

Nisha - (blushing) kabir kriti

Kabir - oh haan mein bhul gaya. Chal saath mein chalk e date hain kyunki shyad kisi aur ne bhi nhi diya hai (looking at the lying at her side)

Nisha - (looking inhis direction) maine de diya hai. Yeh kisi aur ke liye hai

Kabir - ( smiles hearing this but pretends he doesn't know any thing )ohh waise kiske liye

Nisha - tu jaanta hai

Kabir - ( pretending ) na main hi janta

Nisha - kabirr ab tu jaega bhi ( raise her hand tu hit him)

Kabir (doges the hit ) ( laughing and running ) jar ha hun

Nisha smiles to herself and walks behind him. Kabir meets others, everyone is surprised to see him wishes kriti and goes to meet sourav , sourav hugs him and says " yaar itni daar pata kitne bahane maar chukka hun cake cutting rok ne ke liye"

Kriti- toh tumhe pata tha

Sourav- hain

Kriti- toh mujhe kyun nhi bataya

Sourav - agar batata deta toh tum sab eise suprise thodi hote

Dolly- hain woh toh hai . kabir thank u itna accha suprise dene ke liye

Kabir - my pleasure yaar waise yeh sukku kaha hai??

Nisha - woh usse kuch kam tha iss liye jaldi chala gaya

Kabir - (in a sarcastic way) waah koi bhut kaam kar raha hai

Everyone laughs

Nisha - kabir (angrily)

Kabir - accha sorry baba

Kriti - ab toh mein cake kat sakti hu na

Sourav - hain. Guys chalo cake cut karte hain

Everyone moves to the centre table where a beautiful cake is placed.

Kriti cuts the cake and feeds everyone

Sourav applies some cake on kriti's face she does the same. They are lost in each other when suddenly a piece of cake comes flying straight on sourav's face.
