Next day
Nisha woke up first got ready, woke Kabir up and pushed him to the washroom. After he came both headed for breakfast and even packed some food for their picnic.
Nisha and kabir were going to the picnic spot they use to come when they were kids along with there families. Nisha was all excited to visit the place,and continuously asking kabir to drive fast. Kabir was smiling at her child like excitement, i ws the same excitement he had seen in her eyes when he met her after long time on kriti's birthday party. He was happy to see her happy, excited and prayed that she soon starts fighting her fear and winning against it. The previous day incident has definitely proved that she ia not one of those people who fearing the past will sit and not live in present, she had proved that she is a fighter and she will win but still he was worried for her. He wanted to protect her for his entire life, guard her from all evils of the world and be her shell from all enemies and he had already failed in that once he does not want anything to happen to her again even in his dreams.
As soon as the reached the picnic spot (a cliff), Nisha jumped out of the car and ran on grass spreading her arms in circling just like she use to do in old days. Kabir shook his head and took all the items out from the car, and laying a bedsheet on the grass sat on it, enjoying the pleasant weather, the chirping from birds, the butterflies flying around and the warm and relaxing sun. He closed his eyes inhaling the scent of nature, his serene moment was disturbed by his Nisha who was pulling him to join her and not to just sit there.
Nisha made kabir walk on the soft cool grass barefoot, they both were enjoying the feel of the delicate , soft and cool grass under there feet, which use to get crumbled when they use to step on it and again be the same and straight once you move ahead.
They enjoyed lot there, talking with each other, teasing each other with some of each others childhood incidents, running behind each other, fighting for the last piece of chocolate. It was evening by now and kabir urged Nisha to go back, as he didn't wanted them to miss the sunset near the lake as planned by Nisha. Both sat and hurried towards the lake which was not very far from the picnic spot,Nisha pulled kabir up along with her and walked towards the edge of the bank and just stood , kabir was staring her she just smiled and turned his face towards the sun which was just about to set. As it went down the entire sky got covered in a blanket of various shade of red, yellow and orange and the lake too reflected the same, both of them enjoyed the beautiful sunset standing by each, holding hands.
The drive back to the hotel was quiet as nisha was tired and soon fell asleep once they stared back for the hotel. Kabir patted her cheeks lightly waking her up once they reached. Nisha gave him a big smile and both of them went to their room. The first thing Nisha did entering the room was crashing on the bed, kabir asked her to get fresh but she was already asleep, sighing kabir went to freshen up. When he came back Nisha was still sleeping, he too was tired from the picnic and he energy packet was already asleep so he too crashed on the couch but not before taking few pics of her sleeping hugging the pillow and swapping through all the pictures he took of her today while she was busy playing and enjoying in the picnic spot, with a last glance at her he too fell asleep.
Kabir woke up as he fell from the couch while changing positions, he rubbed his back trying to eliminate the pain, as he looked on the bed he could not see Nisha there, fear over took him, he so didn't wanted anything from to happen to her, he checked the washroom but she was not there, he called her but her phone was in the room, he was clueless running hands through his hair when he haerd the door of the room opening and Nisha appeared with two trays in her hands, relief spread from kabir as he watched her while she was confused seeing such an expression from him. She kept the trays on the table and came towards him asking him whats wrong but to her surprise instead of answering kabir took her in in tight hug vanishing his fears of losing her again. Nisha was clueless seeing such a response from him, but hearing him saying that she should have waked him up and atleast have told her, she understood the situation with kabir, breaking the hug she cupped his face and looking straight into his eyes told him that she is alright. Kabir nodded his head like a child. They had their dinner in silence. After dinner Nisha told kabir that she wanted to take gifts for all and also sorry as they could not go for dinner as planned shooed her apology as he knew she was tired and so was he and as for the shopping plan Kabir denied at first as then they wont be able to reach jaipur on time for the doctor's appointment, but seeing the cute expression Nisha was making he had to give in. Kabir strictly told her to finish shopping as soon as possible and then both retired to sleep.
Nisha and kabir were in market. Nisha was shopping and kabir silently following her . though kabir had given her only one hour for completing the shopping but she completed it in three hours after which they started for jaipur. When they reached jaipur it was quite late as scheduled and had only half an hour before appointment. Both reached kabir's house and Nisha lied on the couch, seeing her lying kabir strictly told her not to sleep as he went to freshen up before heading to the doctor. When he came out calling Nisha, she was wide asleep, he shook his head and called Dr informing her about it. She smiled and asked him to relax and even let her rest, it is because of the medicines that she feels so sleepy, kabir nodded and took an appointment on Tuesday, but he was still angry on Nisha for being careless regarding her health. He went to the kitchen to make dinner for them, Nisha would be staying at kabir's house as others will come back tomorrow from jaisalmer and then only Nisha could go to her house.
Nisha waked up when kabir called her asking her to take dinner, that was when she realised that she slept and they had to skip the appointment. She could clearly she kabir upset with her as he was quiet and he did not even talked looked at her properly, the dinner was done with an awkward silence between them.
Before sleeping Nisha tired to talk to him but he avoided it by saying he is too tired and need a sleep and retired to his room while Nisha took her medicines and went to the guest room.
