Day 7

Nisha woke up late, got ready and left for the studio. She went in the canteen and saw that her friends were talking to a girl.

Nisha- Hi guys.

She looked at the new girl and then at others.

Kabir- Nisha, this is Vrinda, my friend and Vrinda, this is Nisha...

Vrinda- Toh tum ho Nisha, bahut suna hai tumhare baare mein.

Nisha smiled. But after some time she noticed that Kabir was only talking to Vrinda and it looked as if none of the others were present. Kabir took Vrinda to the rehearsal hall. Later that day Nisha didn't see Kabir at all because he had taken a holiday.

Vrinda was driving the car and stopped at his favorite place, the Juhu beach. She looked at the passenger seat and saw that Kabir was lost thinking about something.

Vrinda- (punching his shoulder) Bro, we reached.

Kabir- (out of trance) Haan.

They both got down. Vrinda went to a pani puri stall and brought 2 plates of pani puri. She handed Kabir one. Kabir took it, but he was still thinking something.

Vrinda- Nisha ke baare mein soch raha hai?

Kabir- Jaroori nahi, ki har baar uske baare mein sochu...

Vrinda- Toh?

Kabir- Its just...(he sighed)

Vrinda- Kabir, don't you think, Nisha should know...

Kabir- (shocked) Are you nuts? Main Nisha ko sab sacch kyun bataunga?

Vrinda- Because you love her...

Kabir looked at her and smiled sadly.

Kabir- (sad) Par woh mujhse pyaar nahi karti hai...

Vrinda- She doesn't know you... iss ek mahine mein she'll get to know the real Kabir... give her sometime...

Kabir- She doesn't trust guys...

Vrinda- Ek din aisa aayega, when she'll trust a guy the most, aur woh tum hoge...

She kept her hand on his shoulder to show him that she was with him no matter what. Kabir smiled at her and sighed. He walked towards the car.

Vrinda- Kahan jaa rahe ho?

Kabir- Ghar...

Vrinda shook her head and smiled.

Kabir- Oye drama queen, Chal.

Vrinda- (walking towards him) Saale, main drama queen hoon?

She punched him and Kabir started driving towards the Saxena House. Nisha wasn't back home. Vrinda helped Kabir as he cleaned the house.

Vrinda- (wiping the kitchen counter) waise abhi tak mujhe yaqeen nahi ho raha hai ki Tu ghar saaf kar raha hai?

Kabir rolled his eyes.

Kabir- Ho gaya? Main Nisha ki help karna chahta hoon

Vrinda- (teasingly) Help yaa impress, huh?

Kabir- Enough aa, sun raha hoon, isiliye kuch bhi mat bolo...

They heard the door bell ring. Nisha turned her attention from her bag to the door. She saw that Vrinda was standing there with a smile plastered on her face.

Vrinda- Hi!

Nisha faked a smile and entered the house. She saw that Kabir was cleaning the kitchen.

Nisha- (entering the kitchen) Kya kar rahe ho?

Kabir- Ghar saaf kar raha hoon sweetheart...

Nisha smiled when she heard him calling her sweetheart.

Vrinda- Kabir, main aaj yahaan ruk jaau? I mean kitne dino baad mile hai... Let's spend time together naa?

Nisha- (annoyingly in mind) Let's spend time together naa? Kal kya kar rahi thi Kabir ke saath? Mt. Everest ke upar se kudne gayi thi kya?

She saw that Kabir's gaze was fixed on her. She knew he was asking her permission. She hoped that her facial expression would make him say no.

Kabir- Of course Vri...

Nisha mentally face palmed and looked at Vrinda angrily as she side hugged him.

Kabir- Nisha tu fresh ho jaa, phir hum dinner karte hai...

Nisha nodded and went in the bed room. When she returned she saw that Kabir and Vrinda were busy talking.

Vrinda- aur tumne Samaira se baat ki? Woh aaj bhi sirf tumhari baate karti hai...

Kabir- Don't talk about her...(acting like a girl) Oh My God Kabir, you are so handsome...

Both laughed and hi-5ed.

Vrinda- Arrey Nisha, come sit..

Nihsa- (murmuring) Mere ghar main mujhe hi betne ke liye keh rahi hai... chudail...

Vrinda- Kuch kaha tumne?

Nisha- Nahi toh...

Vrinda- We were just talking about our college friends.

Nisha- You guys are college friends?

Vrinda- Childhood friends.

Nisha- Oh toh tum bhi Australia return ho?

Vrinda- Yaa...

Kabir Vri, academy se call aaya tha?

Vrinda- Call nahi, letter... ek minute...

She searched in her handbag and handed him a letter. Kabir opened the envelope in hurry. Nisha saw that excitement o his face. She understood that this letter was very important for Kabir. She heard him scream and looked at him. He was hugging Vrinda tightly and Vrinda was smiling as if India had won the World Cup.

Kabir then hugged Nisha in excitement. Nisha stood shocked. Kabir too realised that he had hugged Nisha without her permission and broke the hug. Both looked at each other awkwardly.

Nisha- ummm.. Kya tha uss letter mein?

Kabir- (holding her arms happily) Nisha, mujhe Australia ke D3 Dance Academy mein choreographer select kiya hai. Can you believe it? I have got my dream job... I am so happy... Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha hai main kya karu..

Vrinda- Ek kaam kar, ice-cream laa, let's celebrate...

Kabir- Ya, I'll just come...

He left. Nisha went and stood in the balcony. Vrinda followed.

Vrinda- Tum mujhse gussa ho?

Nisha was startled to hear a voice so looked at her.

Nisha- (avoiding) Nahi.. aisa kuch nahi hai...

Vrinda- Mujhe aisa laga...

Nisha- Waise tum Kabir ki sirf dost ho or are you guys dating...

Vrinda- (shocked) Hello! Aisa-waisa kuch nhai hai... We are just friends. Infact, college mein I was searching for a girl who could be his gf... Kuch bhi...

Nisha- Jaane tu yaa Jaane naa mein Genelia bhi Imraan ke liye gf dhund rahi rahi, but she fell in love with him.

Vrinda- (murmuring) Par Kabir toh tujhse pyaar karta hai...

Nisha- Huh? Kuch kaha tumne?

Vrinda- Kuch suna tumne?

Nisha nodded in a no.

Vrinda- Ek baat bolu, Kabir ko jaisa tum samjhati ho na, he isn't like that... Haan, he flirts with girls, par woh ladkiyon ki respect bhi karta hai...

Nisha- I know, and I am guilty for behaving rude with him.

Vrinda smiled

Vrinda- (in mind) Dono taraf se aag equal hai...

Kabir came with the ice-creams and they had dinner. They were chatting till late night. Nisha liked Vrinda but was annoyed with Vrinda and Kabir's closeness. Finally Vrinda slept on the bed itself.

Nisha and Kabir decided to sleep on the floor. Vrinda was using both the pillows as her body pillows so they had no other option.
