Hi guys!!
i tried writing a poem on Nibir
Actually this poem is from nisha's POV ...😆
I dont even knw whether this can be categorized as a poem😆
Pls read it and do comment
When sadness revisited my life
In mid -February,when coldness crept into my life
Every wish I had,lay like a crumbled heap
I despised myself for what had happened to me..
I searched for joy in my soul
But all I found was endless sorrow...
And then he entered my life like a fresh breeze,
Bringing with him countless joy and bliss,
I let him alleviate my excruciating pain,
I let him soothe my restless mind,
Little did I realize that I was falling for him deeply...
He invaded my heart like a trespasser,
Breaking all barriers I built to protect myself..
I found solace in his arms and peace in words,
I treasured him...I fantasized about him
And I finally started thinking that he completed me...
I cherished every moment with him,
And slowly realized that I am addicted to him...
He had lured me into a trance like state from which
I would never awake;But even amidst these endless joys,
A gripping fear conquered my heart...
And one fine day he shattered my heart
Off to conquer his dreams ,leaving me behind;
I said nothing coz he and only he has
The permission to break my heart
And when he finally left,
Ripping my heart and tearing my soul,
I watched like a spectator,dying a thousand deaths,
I shut myself away,silence as my constant companion,
Far from the maddening crowd,far from the questioning voices...
Trying to mend my broken heart,though I know it's too late
And when I finally came out of my shell,thinking I moved on
The truth let me down again;coz now I am searching
For traces of him in everyone I see...
Hoping against hope that he returns someday,
Though I know the bitter truth;I realized,
Time has moved on...I have not
Coz my heart is still a stubborn child
It will never rest until it gets what it wants...
