*Meanwhile at gangwal House*
Ramesh had been waiting for his father's taunts. Look what you've made our kids. Ramesh had already played this line in Babuji's voice on loop in his head. However, the next morning saw nothing but silence. Nemichand did not speak to anyone. Quietly, he went about his morning routine and left for the shop.
Nemichand had expected his son to gloat- See, how you've pushed our kids into rebellion. However, as he went about the morning routine, Ramesh looked almost... apologetic. Suddenly, Nemi wished for Ramesh to gloat. At least I'll feel less guilty...

*Afternoon*
Ramesh heard some rustling in his room. "Who is it?" he called out. All went still. "It must be a cat." he muttered to himself as he planned out the day's class. Suddenly, he peeked below his bed. "Meow!" he mocked. Finally Nisha crept out. "Papa!!!" she whined at being caught.
Ramesh pulled her cheek. " Mera Happy waala gaana!!! Wait, I'll bring you a cup of tea."
"No, Papa. I only came to tell you that I'm going to start archery again." she said hastily. ramesh was taken aback. "That's... that's great..." he said. "You'll need money... Give me two days... I'll..."
"Papa I don't need money. I just wanted to share it with you... and take permission..." Nisha said.
"Permission?! You have permission for anything that makes you happy, beta!!!" Ramesh smiled. He was partly happy to see her act responsibly and partly sad that she had grown so much.
Suddenly, Nisha's phone buzzed. "Singham out for lunch. Leave Singham's lair NOW." The message read. Nisha hastily tucked in her phone and blew her father a kiss. "You are the best Papa in the world." She acknowledged before jumping off the windowsill in classic Nisha style.

Vasundhara was hesitant. "Kabir, this isn't going to work. Viraj is too angry. He'll just withdraw further or send us away. This way, at least I get to see him..."
Kabir smiled nervously. "Let's try."
As Viraj entered his penthouse after a tiring day at Lakshya Academy, he saw Kabir and his mother watching him carefully. He paused, wary of their fixed stares. Then he saw a basket on the center table. "WHAT?!" he snapped. He heard a low yelp coming from the basket. "I asked what's in it?" He snapped again. Suddenly the basket flap was thrown open and a pug jumped off the center table. The poor puppy was unaccustomed to Viraj Singh rathore's crabby outbursts.
Viraj looked at it, wide-eyed. "What nonsense!" he hissed at Kabir. The pug was trying to nestle near Kabir's feet for safety. Kabir was constantly pushing it away. No one replied to Viraj.
When Kabir had tried to shake off the pug for the umpteenth time. Viraj snapped again. "Don't!"
Gently, Viraj lifted the pug onto his lap. The pug looked suspicious. It whined in a low voice. Viraj groaned. "It's okay." He said... so softly that Vasundhara was shocked that Viraj could manage that decibel. "It's okay," Viraj cooed again, scratching the pug behind it's ear.
