So this is my new ss on nibir...the wedding's coming up...the first chapter is abt family meeting
Premise :- Nisha is emotionally blackmailed by GF into marriage with Kabir. RL is having a tough time within the family. Kabir is scared out of his wits and was emotionally blackmailed by dadaji into marriage. dadaji has left moren to handle the issue and organize wedding as he dont want to talk to RL & Nisha. Cousins are helpless.
CHAPTER-1
"So where are you from ?" asked viren to kabir. Kabir resisted the urge to roll his eyes.They have just given the hand of their daughter to him and they don't know basics about him just his name scratch that they don't even know his full name. He looked at nisha, she was silent, the tears have dried on her face. Oh God how to make her smile again, it was all his fault he thought. Ramesh who was sitting next to him was no different.
With a sigh he began "Basically you guys don't know anything about me so I might as well say everything" said Kabir with his signature smirk.viren glared at him.but kabir began "lets start with the name shall we ? my name is kabir singh rathore i am 22 and lives in Dubai. Oh and i dont have a job and a house for that matter" kabir added. Hopefully they would rethink about the marriage right?
" You dont have a job? Asked Mohan. And no house? Where will u go with Nisha? What will u do? Marriage is not a child's play. I am going to talk to Bauji. We can find some other solution to this all. It's about Nisha's future."
Yes! Thought kabir."It's ok Mohan. We can find him a job or he can even work in the shop and they could live here till they find a house. Bauji has given his decision. U can't forget that the whole community knows about their marriage, we can't risk the family's name. If Nisha had any thought of her future she would have thought better and would not have gotten into this mess in the first place" Said Viren glaring at Nisha. A fresh set of tears ran down Nisha's cheeks. Kabir had an urge to shout at Viren why can't they see she was saving a child and herself from a gun point.
" And you" Viren turned to Kabir "Do you have a family?".Kabir thoughts wandered off 'family' if only he had one,then he saw that everyone was looking at him for an answer so he replied "just my mother. She is a business woman in dubai"."And your father?"Asked Viren. Here we go again Kabir thought how can he explain that he never ever knew his father to these people. Nisha who was busy crying heard Viren's question and looked up at Kabir she knew that it was a sensitive issue to him . To his surprise Nisha spoke up " Kabir's dad is not with him and his mom "she said in a shaky voice.Everyone assumed that Kabir's dad was no more. Viren muttered a sorry. Kabir looked at Nisha and silently thanked her with his eyes she returned a weak smile
Viren began "Anyway the marriage function should be organized so I suggest you call your mother."Bad idea ,Kabir thought, this is not going to end well for him."Tauji I will call mom later she may be busy now ."He said in his cheery tone."you should call now its Sunday she wont be busy besides what more could be important than her son's marriage I am pretty sure u haven't told her about the marriage."said viren.Kabir took out his phone and pretended to call "MY mobile seems to be out of currency I will call her after recharging." Said Kabir."No beta call now u can use my phone here u go ."This guy is going to be the end of him."Tauji its an overseas call its going to cost a lot so I will recharge and call" kabir said."Kabir beta call your mother"Viren said in a dangerous tone . Kabir gulped and took the phone from him."put it on speaker "Viren said. Kabir nodded scared about the impending disaster.
The phone rang two times no one picked up.kabir began "See she's busy we can call her later..."."Hello Vasundara Singh Rathore speaking who is this"a voice said from the phone.Wow talk about bad timing mom kabir thought."Mom its me Kabi..."" Kabir beta... oh god thank god... where r u? r u alright ?Why haven't u called ? Don't u dare tell me that u r in London ,ur frnds whom u went with on the trip to London came by last day asking for u.Do u even realize how worried I am?" His mom began ranting. Kabir got dirty looks from the Gangwals. "U didn't tell ur mother that u r in india ? look how worried she is " asked dolly. Before his mother made a scene he spoke up."Mom if u ask me so many things at once how can I answer .I am fine .I am not in London"
" I noticed the photo is missing. Beta pls tell me that I am wrong. Pls dnt tell me ur in that country.Pls don't tell me ur in India."Said his mom Kabir could feel the puzzled looks the gangwals were giving him only Nisha understood."Fine mom I wont say it like that but I will say this Mein Bharath main hun." Kabir said and stuck his fingers into both ears and closed his eyes because he knew what was going to follow."MR KABIR SINGH RATHORE, HOW DARE YOU DISREGARD MY WORDS AND GO TO INDIA. YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE YOUNG MAN.THERE WAS A REASON WHY YOU WERE NEVER ALLOWED TO GO THERE.THIS IS NOT A JOKE"...Kabir's mother started scolding him and the gangwals were giving confused looks he had to change the topc.
" Mom I know u r mad but please we will talk about this later. I have something else to tell u so pls pls pls not now mom". Said Kabir."But beta you have to realize that by going to India you did a very big mistake.Where r u exactly?"her voice cracked Kabir understood his mom was on the verge of crying maybe he did go overboard with his masti this time. I am so sorry mom Kabir thought. "Mom I know u r sad I am so sorry.I am in Rajastan Jaipur actually I followed your root to ur birth place".
"That's it Kabir you are coming back home today itself." said his Mom. Kabir looked at the Gangwals then at Nisha then he decided."No mom , I am sorry but I have a responsibility to fulfill I cant come back right now"."Kabir what are u saying beta?"his mother asked clearly angry."Mom I will explain when u get here". Kabir said. "I am not coming to India you are coming back " his mom said. "No mom you have to come."Kabir said. "Kabir why r u so adamnt on making me come to a place I have sworn not to set foot on.Why?.A silence followed.
Finally Kabir said."Because mom no mother would want to miss her son's wedding and I...I am getting married"
