well the show was titled NISHA aur uske cousins and not just cousins so definitely it was an indication that she'll be THE lead while others will be second leads or something.. ⭐️

i thought so too but currently i cant see any strong bond between cousins or cousins standing up for each other 😭

what is kirti's bond with any of her cousin or even her own sister.She is shown to be too uncaring and selfish to have any kind of bond wiih any one .Just dancing or partying together is no bond.The only time she helped her cousins is when she helped to get money for dolly's dress or else she is always only concerned about herself .Where is the bond?

i cant see any of the cousins standing up for Nisha either now or even during the first track when they all partied together in both cases nisha took the entire blame while other cousins were either too weak(umesh) or too selfish(dolly,kirit and suketu) to do anything

what i wanted to see was strong bond between cousins who always help out each other not just one cousin always sacrificing for others😭

I agree with you. I have enjoyed individual scenes but in terms of tracks i find it a little messy. The show has turned out different to what i expected when i saw the promos. Sadly, i think the show is centered around Nisha and how her cousins depend on her and what she goes through trying to support them all. Though Nisha is somewhat different to the other typical leads.
Right now i don't see any cousin standing up for nisha. It is as if the cousins are just there to give Nisha a purpose in life.

i agree with you Nisha has that rebellious attitude who doesnt follow conventions which does set her apart from other leads which i do like but i dont want her to forever go in this self sacrificng mode especially when her cousins are shown not to be much caring about her.

or else for me there wont be much difference between NAUC or so many other serial on TV

a self sacrificing bahu from a humble beginning=a self sacrificing sister/cosuin from a poor family

weak husband who is unable to support his wife when she needs it=a weak elder bro who cant stand up for his sister when needed

hi-fi selfish and rich mother in laws who always look down upon her bahu and taunts her=to rich ,selfish and shallow cousin who is always mean

i hope i am able to make my point clear except for the relationships everything seems to be same as rest of the serials at least till now which is something i wasn't expecting

Well I guess this show is all about relationships which got hampered due to circumstances and how they all come out of it as a winner with the help of each other. Well Nisha is a central character and every show needs a hero / heroine ... Here its Nisha.
It's a clash of different personalities, different generations and way of living lives.
In last episode of this week I loved when Nisha says to her father that "bhale apke bhaiyo ne aapka saath chod diya Ho par Mujhe mere cousins pe pura bharosa hai... " this shows that what they all meant for each other.

Btw this is my first ever comment on this forum ... This show is full time pass and with freshness in story , so I m enjoying it.
Hope they keep it like this...

But yes it is high time they stop portraying other cousins as selfish.. what will be the difference between ramesh and his brothers and nisha and her cousins if they too are selfish??

I will too lose interest in the show if nisha keeps giving away her happiness and lives a miserable life.. I have seen enough serials centered around a sacrificing leading lady.. Nisha has potential to get her own happiness but all she does is sacrifice and portray herself as wrong for her cousins..

You are strong and you can bear all the scoldings - good, I appreciate!! But portraying yourself as "characterless" to save your cousin from looking "characterless" just because she was with her own fiance is absolute foolishness in my eyes..

She could have fought for dolly by saying she was meeting her fiance and it was no crime.. but see what she did.. 👎🏼

Agreed Nisha is the lead so she will take the lead in most of the cases which is fine ..She is definately the strongest of all the cousins so only she can stand upto dadaji hence her taking blame for dolly i can understand

my issue is with the characterization of other cousins wherein they are shown too be to selfish or shallow and always taking advantage of Nisha.If its cousin's bonding they wanted to show then this is definitely not the way.If they continue to show other cousin's taking advantage of nisha then then this is not the way to show the bonding.But if their aim was to show how nisha always sacrifices and helps her cousins wherein the other cousins do nothing in return then its a different issue

Yes Nisha is the lead but just in order to show that there is no need to show other cousins to be selfish.I can understand other cousins cant stand upto dadaji but atleast they could have shown other cousins feeling bad for nisha or thinking how to help her.Even suketu her own brother doesn't seem to care much about what is happening with nisha

bold exactly my point Nisha believes that but when did any of her cousins really act in that way

when did any of the cousins really stand up for her which shows what nisha means to them

like i said partying together,having fun together while searching for boy is all good and fine but real strong bond comes into play when all cousins stand up for each other in time of need

which i feel is not being shown even umesh who perhaps cares most for nisha cant stand up for her when she needs it

kriti and suketu are shown to be too self absorbed to care

jwala and bunty are too young


dolly we have seen what she has done


so what nisha said is just words but cousins have never acted in that way.Just saying that we have a strong bond isnt enough that needs to be shown as well

the only time when cousins did something for nisha was in the lehanga incident even in that kirit and suketu did that for their own personal reasons and not purely for nisha and even umesh and others did so that dadaji doesn't scold them

Regarding freshness yes there is some freshness in the show definitely but still the show is plagued with many prejudices

poor are good and rich are bad

pretty girls are dumb,shallow and selfish

handsome boys are flirts

i dont know may be i was expecting something more different and realistic😭

Nd i dont like this track at all nishu sacrifising rest bieng termed as selfish!bcoz in promo u mentioned in was nt jus nishu bt umesh kirti nd bunty was also shown helping dolly ! Nd the first promo was like a normal cousins meet bt here cousins either bitch abt d other or fight i dint see any bond :-\

me too yaar wanted to see the bonding like i said even i am very close to my cousins so when i saw the promos i immediately felt connected

but i feel that is not what is being shown

yes this serial is nisha and her cousins so definitely nisha will get more prominence and so will her family which is fine but isnt the show also about the bonding between cousins atleast that is what i thought when i saw the promos

yes bonding is definately shown when cousins have fun together pull each other's leg and all but real bond can only be shown when cousin's support each other in times of distress as well which isnt something that is being shown

in any case i hope things change in the coming weeks and we see true bond between cousins

I hope things change too. Make the show about all the cousins and their true bonding. Otherwise there will be nothing new in this show.
