First of all, I am really really sorry for such late reply. 😒 Had to take care of some works. About the discussion.....
You have actually pointed out the problem in better words and in better perspective - stubbornness due to love.
About Abhijeet, I am really glad that they focused on his identity crisis and/or regret multiple times over the years. Because such a tragedy leaves its mark and one cannot really forget that and move forward. 🥺 😭
I guess like the millionth time we completely agree with each other on Nazifa's character traits.
I just wanted to talk about her first stage of moving on a bit elaborately.
Now, we both know they are the leads and audience have accepted them. So even if it's the last episode, they'll unite - that's for sure; I mean 99.999999% probability is there. 🤪
But the question is why now? Why after 8 years of loneliness or why Shayan of all people? 🤓
It's a fact that if only she had apologized to her father, she could have saved herself and her daughter from a lot of trouble. As far as life partner is considered, she is pretty, bright and is the only heir of her millionaire father. So there would be no problem in finding a suitor.
But she held onto Mitul's memory. In fact, when Shayan said that he understood her as she has all the right to love her husband's memory; she made it clear that Mitul wasn't mere a memory and his existence was intertwined with hers. So one can definitely understand what he meant to her.
But personally I feel, no matter how much you try, you can't help but acknowledge those who are there for you or become your friends.
As I told you, I am not really very open to outsiders and I had this friend whose father got transferred so she too had to shift. So after that incident, I didn't have any genuine friend for like 6-7 years. And then when I was in college, I made some friends with whom I am still in touch and I consider them my sisters. So it's not that I forgot my childhood friend. In fact I tracked her down later, thanks to FB and we are still in touch. But the new friends I made, they created their own place in my life and even though I was a skeptical introvert, we became best of friends anyway.
So if I take off the fangirl glasses for a moment, I guess it was very much possible for Nazifa to move on with someone else even before but that person had to make his place.
Since Shayan is a bit different from the others, she is getting affected. That's why for the first time she has noticed someone after so many years. Like even before Othoi met Shayan, Nazifa complimented him saying he seemed like a good guy. Because that's the day when she realized he pulled some strings and GM apologized to her. But later that night, she couldn't sleep because she noticed someone other than her husband!
Then again there was considerable amount of drama between the two regarding a gift Shayan bought for Ariana. But at the end of the day, she smiled recalling the entire incident and that's when she imagined Mitul who asked her "After how long have you set yourself free Nazifa?"
So I would say, to move on from Mitul's memory she needed someone else who might be different but can affect her in various ways. And since Shayan is doing that, she is becoming more and more tensed with her own stand.
What do you think?
