In fact, that's one of the sequences where I literally wanted to hug Othoi. 🤗 Because Nazifa got so angry that she didn't go to office and Shayan being Shayan, contacted Othoi because he just didn't understand what went wrong. So Othoi simply said - Nazifa apu (Didi in Hindi) is too stubborn and vents anger on everybody. So do one thing, you show more anger on her and she'll realize her fault.

It did end in the perfect way. Shayan irritated Nazifa a lot with the gift and Nazifa was like - If only I didn't need the job so badly! 😡 😡 😡

Ultimately things settled down. I don't know whether it was the editing or something else, they didn't state any proper reason but in a later episode she directly told Shayan that she felt happy about what he did with Ariana.

Similarly, in the giraftaar series and a few other episodes too where Abhijeet was trapped in some fake case, he was accused of using his memory loss as an escape route. Basically, almost everytime he is phasaofied, he is accused of using his memory loss as a way to escape...

Personally I enjoyed Shayan's way of torturing her because I won't sugar-coat it; even though she is the lead and has a lot of good qualities, at times she frustrates me with her behavior.

Honestly, I am confused. The entire fiasco happened in a shopping mall. Othoi, Nazifa and Ariana went to shopping where the kid wanted to buy a pair of birds. And obviously she was badgering the adults but Nazifa didn't have that much money. Co incidentally they bumped into Shayan and he bought the birds for the kid.

So Nazifa got so pissed that she left the place immediately and asked Othoi to return with Ariana. So both Shayan and Othoi felt awkward.

I can't totally blame Nazifa because she told the kid not to choose something so expensive because she didn't have any extra money. So her becoming adamant at a particular shop - although she was a kid, it did create a scene and Nazifa literally shut the door and didn't come out the entire day in anger.

But then again, Shayan didn't really do anything inappropriate. Don't we buy some stuff or gifts for our colleagues sometime when they lack money?

So what he did was brought the birds in office and literally whenever he was coming out, he came out with the birds. In fact, he called Nazifa in his cabin without any reason just so that she could watch those birds.

And Nazifa did mention to another stuff that she didn't like to see caged birds.

So the last thing they showed was Shayan indirectly told that the birds were a gift and he'll carry it with him unless the person doesn't ask for it.

Later Othoi called him and asked to reach a park where she brought Ariana and told her that Nazifa gave permission. So they opened the cage and freed the birds.

Simultaneously they showed Nazifa was smiling after a long time referring to her breaking free.

A couple of episodes later, she did thank Shayan and said whatever he did with Ariana, she got really pleased - again pointing to the fact that he freed those birds.

But like Alisha always says that PiyAnsh as a whole was balanced and none did extreme something, if we look at Nazifa and Shayan, till now both have maintained their limits. But sometimes despite your best interest, the situation gets messed. Unfortunately it was one such sequence. 🤔

It's then when Nazifa said she wasn't interested in gossiping and she doesn't like caged birds. In fact when Shayan called her, the way she looked at him and the birds, if she could, she would Kaccha Chaba Jao Shayan right there! 🤣 🤣 🤣 And there was a brief monologue that she too was like that bird, caged as she had to put up with everything because she needed that job for her survival.

Now we don't know if she had really permitted Othoi or she lied to Ariana and the trio freed the birds. But definitely, she had gotten to know about the incident.

So another day when Shayan offered her a lift, she told him very politely that she was glad for what he did and she acknowledged his goodness. But Shayan offering her help may be courtesy in London but in our country people would point to her character and say she was using her boss. So she couldn't take her offer.

And as luck would have it, by the end of the day, she was forced to take her help because of some emergency. 😆 😆 😆

But yes, my personal favorite moment was the parallel. On one frame Othoi, Ariana and Shayan was freeing those birds and on the other frame, Nazifa loosened her hair and was smiling and here too, she imagined Mitul - singing and dancing around her. It was actually an old Bengali song which basically means -

The cage has been opened and the bird has spread its wings. But it doesn't know whether it can reach its nest or not.

And after that he asked - After how long have you spread your wings Nazifa?

The direction in this scene was marvelous. 👏 👏 👏

Yeah!! They did value him na!! Every time Abhijeet was in a life threatening situation, they remembered that he is a 'CID ka heera' and that he has to be saved at any cost.

In AIC, Daya and ACP were like: Abhijeet ki zindagi aapke haath main hai. Ise kuch nahi hona chahiye bas!!

In AKI, you must have heard that dialogue: Is aadmi ne bahut masoom logon ki jaan bachai hai. Iski jaan ab aapke haath main hai.

In another episode, Abhijeet got locked in the panic room without oxygen. Then ACP sir had said: Is room ke andar CID ka ek heera hai heera... Use kuch nahi hona chahiye.

In episode 756 Freddy had said to ACP: Abhijeet sir aapke liye jaan bhi de sakte hain.

And ACP sir had said: Issi baat ka to darr hai Freddy.

In fact, there had been many such episodes where Abhijeet's life was in danger and they were worried for him.

But then, in episode 611, when Freddy and Tasha supported Abhijeet saying that they did not find Abhijeet's fingerprints at the crime scene, ACP sir had said that Abhijeet had been working in CID for 12 years and he won't make such a mistake... Implying that Abhijeet had indeed murdered that guy. Then, when he and Freddy had gone to Abhijeet's house and Abhijeet had said that if he had known they would be coming, he would have cleaned the house. And ACP was like: cleaned the house or cleared the house of all the evidences against him which could prove that he had killed Paresh??

Similarly, there was another episode where Abhijeet was hit on the head and then given some drugs which made him lose his memory temporarily. And in this state, Abhijeet was roaming around as he didn't remember anything. And ACP sir was like he had done a crime and so, he was absconding. And he even asked the juniors to arrest him once he returned to the bureau after getting his memory back.

Then the giraftaar series... Yes, it was a damn YSPT still, ACP was like: I made a mistake by trusting him with this mission. DCP was like: whenever Abhijeet is in a problem, his memory becomes his weapon. Dr. Salunkhe went way ahead calling him a Kalank on CID and a gandi machhli and what not!!! 😡

These are just a few examples... There are several others but I haven't listed them...

Whereas, Daya was phasaofied many times too... But, ACP sir doubted him only in that infamous Behroopia episode because they had found planted evidences that Daya had been kidnapped and his doppleganger had taken his place. In another episode, ACP sir only told him to take a leave and not take part in the investigation lest they land in trouble.

In any case, even if ACP sir suspected Daya, he did not directly accuse him.
