And there's no shame in admitting it, I do want to win but if I have to be completely honest, that IPKKND FF was great and the writer deserves to win. ☺️ ☺️ ☺️

But as we said, experience and attachment. There have been very few times when I have enjoyed reading ITV FFs because you know, the same old story, copy pasted everywhere.

So that's one thing and the other is about the couple involved. I haven't seen IPKKND properly yet I do have a good feeling when it comes to Arnav and Khushi.

Yes, Arnav was typical Gul ML and forced Khushi to marry her but the few scenes I have watched, even at his worst he was thousand times better than Ekta's ML like Raman and Karan.

I loved their wedding episode because he didn't decide to punish Khushi or Garima for his father's mistake unlike some intense, golden hearted hero.

And Sanaya was a treat to watch as Khushi.

But when it comes to KZK, the name itself sends me to a gloomy land. And the FF too was brilliant but a masterpiece of gloominess. So it's really difficult for me to muster up the courage to read a lengthy KZK FF.

Well, I do agree with you that the IPKKND FF that we read was indeed really good.

Frankly speaking, when it comes to FFs, I rarely read FFs on ITV daily soaps cos most of the writers copy-paste the same story at some points of time... Not to forget that most of the shows too have the same story/twist/track at some point of time or the other.

Coming to IPKKND, I'll take your word for that as I haven't watched it... In fact, some time ago, I didn't even know that such a show existed. 😆

Well, I came to know about it after I started reading FFs on IF...and that should be around three years ago when I first came here to read a couple of stories on CID forum as suggested by my friend.

I did watch a few episodes... And they were quite interesting. I also remember seeing our Professor Sahab too in the promo for one of the episodes.

The detailing and the cases were indeed interesting... although they did have similarities with other shows. It's major plus point was that the similarities weren't glaringly obvious. They'd be visible to only those who tend to ghusofy in every scene.

But yes, I do want Gul to go back to that genre as it was way better than all this Jinn, N2 etc.

Besides, some copy paste it or take inspiration from international shows too. I had once read some discussion that Gul, at the beginning of her career wrote amazing stories and one gave example of Dil Mill Gaye. I was in 7th Standard when that show came on air. Years later when I started watching Grey's, it became so obvious that the show copied a lot of things. Like Atul was the Indian version of George and Anjali was loosely based on Christina. Then operating in the elevator or bomb in body cavity - these are the trademark episodes of Grey's. So you know........But as a teenager and now as an adult my opinion remains the same. It was pure garbage with the main focus always on Armaan-Rhidima. I have the same opinion on about the basic plot of Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaani. They incorporated the initial basic idea of The Vampire Diaries but that was season based and only produced 48 episodes in two years. Here after exhausting their inspiration, Ekta ruined the story.

But the basic love story was garbage with even more garbage acting. I don't want to offend anyone but Vivian Dsena was horrible and even now I don't consider him as a good actor. It's all about a pretty face and unnecessary swag as it seems to me. 🤔
