I don't agree with this logic Rags. If we went to a different planet and killed or did something taboo there, can those aliens not judge us and punish because we can't be held up to their moral accord? Heck, forget aliens, here's a simple example. In India, it's OK to spit and even urinate in public places but if you do that abroad, you are judged and punished. Right? Or Wrong? Just because it's the norm here, should the foreign countries give us a pass?

You follow the rules and moral accords of the world you live in, no matter what, simple as that. If you fail, you can, should and will be judged and punished by their standards. Mo does not get a pass just because she is not human.

I am glad most of people here put out their debating points so logically that they could not be refuted. There was no attacking any member or playing the misunderstood victim card.👏 Since the TM wants the topic to close, let's do that now. I just wanted to reply to Rags. 😊

I know it was for Sammy as she replied to this post after the TM said peace out. That's why I didn't reply to her comment. But the TM said that in 2nd page so obviously someone just coming to the forum will just read the title n the main post n reply to it. As the TM no where mentioned in there that she wants the topic closed. As u went so ballistic with her replying to this post. I just stated the fact that the she has no way of knowing if the topic is closed. So Sammy isnt at fault here.

If u want to give peace to ur beloved friend u should ask her to change the title of the post n write Topic Closed which only she can do otherwise people will keep commenting here n the topic won't be closed.

And next time u feel some comment is bullying to the TM just report it rather than accusing the members. Because if its actually wrong then the Mods will take care of it n the member.

This is the first time i've seen you rationally give out an argument rather than screaming like you normally do.

I'd like to hear such arguments from now on. Even if it is to prove me wrong.

Im not saying anyone is bullying anyone or personally pointing fingers at anyone.

We are all here to to have a passionate debate and have fun.

But many a times without realising it a passionate debate turns into a full on attack. This post being the latest example.

And it has become a habit of late. To the point where some members have stopped visiting the forum or they don't even feel confident to post cause they know the reception they get.

I am not talking for myself and if you don't believe me ask those people who have been on the opposite side of an opinion.

It feels less like an argument comes off more like open hostility and a feeling of being told to shut up. Not saying anyone is intentionally doing it or with any malicious intent.

Sometimes passion tends to run strong without realising how the other person might feel.

Again I repeat there is no Bad guy here. Neither do i view anyone as such.

My point is this has to change. This has to be a forum for all where people feel safe to say what they want. Thats why I spoke up.

I am not saying this to score a point or keep scores !

I don't relish bringing this up either . Truth be told i like nothing better than stay away from conflict.

But I don't know how to bring this up either without it sounding like a criticism. Its not like one can say this easily like "Hey you i know you're just being passionate but it feels like im not welcome. Not to sound defensive but you kinda made me feel bad "

But this had to be addressed sometime ! It had to be me cause no one would bring it up. Its the huge Elephant in the room

If you still don't understand what I'm trying to say

Even if you don't agree with me.

Then prove me wrong atleast. Show me that you can have a passionate debate while being tolerant of another's opinion !

Again not calling you a Bad Guy ! Just bringing attention to an issue which has been going on of late !

I m in this forum for 6 years n had been part of most of the controversial forums n still didn't got a singal warning or notice. So that ought to speak about what I m, n how I bad my comments are, n if I attacked someone or not.😳

And yes screaming in writing is when u use Caps which I clearly didn't use. N I put up my comments rationally so from next try to come up with logics to refute me rather than accusing me to divert the topic.

Besides no one is stopping anyone from posting in any topics or making a new topic, so I don't believe your claims of intolerance and bullying, at all. If anything it was the other way around but that member was banned and the issue has gone away.
