Pinki's gift and intentions were not wrong but not consulting with sweetyji first was.
Doesn't matter if she can afford it now, or just wanted to show her love for rocky, or that she didn't think sweetyji would buy one. When buying such expensive gifts you have to consult the parents first.
Even in divorced parents case sometimes you see one parent wanting to gift a car to their kid. But the parent still needs to consult the other one beforehand.
When sweetyji got so mad at her for wanting to throw a party for rocky how could she think that it would be ok to gift him a bike??
But yea sweetyji took it way too personal and didn't have to insult pinki like this in front of everyone.
