Parvarrish Fan Fic
Parvarrish- Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye'.
It was a tiring day for her. School day was hard and she had lots of homework to do. She groaned as she waited for her cousin in the school canteen. When they entered class nine, they were put into different sections. Since then the inseparable sisters made it sure to meet during tiffin breaks.
Her cousin came up- Ginny!
Ginny- Hey Raashi!
Raashi- Kya hua? Itni ghum kyon? Teacher ne daanta kya?
Ginny- Nahi yaar, bas unhone itni saare homework diya kal ke liye! Just imagine! Uff!
Raashi- Haha. Chill! Mere teacher ne har roj paanch subject ki homework dete hai, by god!
Ginny- Still, you are lucky! You like studying! I don't! So boring!
Raashi- Accha accha! Tiffin box mein kya hai? Aaj bhi Sweety mausi ne aaloo ki parantha diya kya?
Ginny- Haan. Khaalo! Aur Pinky mausi ne kya diya?
Raashi- Dekhti hoon. Lo. Mere liye chicken sandwiches! Khao!
The two sisters joyfully shared their lunch. They loved each other's mother's cooking a bit more.
Ginny's elder brother Rocky was chatting with his friends in front of his class. Raavi came up, a book in her hand. Rocky and Raavi hi-fived each other. As she went into their class 11 room, Rocky turned to his friends.
Friend- Rocky, aaj practice ke liye aaega na?
Rocky- Haan of course! Kyon nahi? Football practice hoga aur Rocky nahi aaya aisa kabhi hota hai?
The boys laughed and Rocky saw Aishwarya with her friends. She was in a different section, in the Arts stream. She waved and Rocky smiled at her and waved back. He excused himself and so did she. The two came up to each other.
Aish- Hi Rocky!
Rocky- Hi Aish! Kaise ho?
Aish- Main theek hoon! Aur tum?
Rocky- On top of the world!
Aish- Woh kyon?
Rocky gave a thought and teasingly replied- Bas, tumko dekhkar! Best friend ho na tum mere!
She smiled and he gave a shy laugh.
The bell rang and the two parted ways after exchanging more pleasantries.
The new home-based business that she had set up with her sister was of providing services to various women and children based functions. The Delhi climate was hot, and she was feeling slightly weak. She just didn't know why.
Zaroor yeh climatic change ke verjade. Dawai khao, sab theek hoga- Her husband had told her, when she had phoned him as usual to ask whether he had his lunch or not.
She was popping her medicine into her mouth when her sister called her- Pinky? Nikal gayi? Main na abhi bhi nahi nikli! Kuch kaam tha ghar pe!
Pinky- Haan Di, main bhi abhi abhi nikli waali hoon.
Sweety- Arre, tumhaari gala sunkar lagta hai kuch hua? Tabiyeth theek toh hai, ain?
Pinky- Haan Di, bas thodi kamjor lag rahe hai.
Sweety- Hai Rabba! Accha sun, tum wahi ruko, main aati hoon!
Pinky- Nahi Di main bas.
Sweety- Bas bas mat bolo. Jaisa kaha waisa kar! Teen bachon ka ma ho tum! Sab se aage apna tabiyeth theek rakhna hai! Accha hilla nahi waha se. Phone rakhti hoon. Bas bees minute mein aa jaongi, theek hain?
Pinky- Accha Di theek hain, aao! Main intezaar karungi!
Sweety hung up and sighed- Yeh Pinky bhi na, humesha khud ko theek nahi rakhte hain! Main na Luckyji bataati hoon ki gaadi le jaa rahi hoon!
She dialed her husband's number.
Lucky's mouth was full of samosa. He was relishing the taste. He glanced at his phone when it rang, and at once started coughing. Quickly drinking two glasses of water, clearing his throat, he sweetly replied- Sweetyji?
Sweety- Oi Luckyji, itne dere kyon lagaya?
Lucky- Woh kya hai na Sweetyji, mere client aaya tha toh main bas meeting mein tha.
Sweety- Accha? Kahin samosa nahi kha rahe thei?
Lucky- Kaise baat kar rahe ho Sweetyji?
Sweety- Maine na aapko acchi tarase jaanti hoon!
Lucky- Sweetyji, main toh bas'
Sweety- Accha suno Luckyji, main na gaadi le jaa rahi hoon Pinky ke pass. Driver ko bhejdo mere pass.
Lucky- Accha theek hai. Sab theek hai na?
Sweety- Pata nahin. Pinky ki tabiyeth kharab hain aur mere saath Sarojini Nagar mein jaane waali thi. Toh mein usko na gaadi mein le jaongi.
Lucky- Accha theek hain! (Hesitating) Love you, jee!
Sweety- Aap bhi na! Love you too.
With a smile, Lucky hung up and looked up to see Jeet coming into his chamber.
Lucky- Arre Jeet Praaji! Aap? Aao aao! Beitho!
Jeet- Thank you Lucky Praaji!
Lucky- Oi Pinky ko kya hua?
Jeet- O bas climate ke verjade (He stopped) Kyon kya hua?
Lucky- Nahi bas Sweetyji uske pass jaa rahe hai. Mujhe phone kiya thi.
Jeet- Accha? I hope (Jeet took up his phone and dialed) Hello Jaan? Tum theek ho?
Pinky- Haan! Mujhe kya hoga Jaan?
Jeet- Nahi bas Sweetyji ne Lucky praji ko bataya ki tum bimaar ho?
Pinky- Nahi main theek hoon. Tum toh Di ko jaante ho. Cchoti cchoti baton mein pareshaan ho jaate hai. Relax main theek hoon! Di mere pass aa rahe hai.
Jeet- Theek hain jaan. Bas apna khayal rakhna! Meeting ke liye phir se best of luck!
Pinky- Thank you jaan!
Jeet hung up and Lucky smiled- Pareshaaniyaan door?
Jeet- Haan Lucky Praji!
Lucky- Waise tum yaha kaise? Kuch madad karun?
Jeet- Haan Praji. Mere naya job milne mein aap ne mujhe madad ki, issi liye shukriya kehne aaye thei. Ab mein office jaaonga.
Lucky- Arre oi Jeet Praji, yeh kya baat hui, ain? Humaare friendship mein no thanks no sorry!
Jeet- Lucky Praji, aapne mere liye bahut kuch kiya!
Lucky- Nai nai, aise mat bolo! Sharminda kar rahe ho mujhe!
The two smiled.
Nanu was getting ready get out with his bahu and beta. Lovely and Dolly were partners in a catering company. Today the couple was free and they planned to take Nanu out for lunch.
Nanu's phone rang- Hello?
Sunny-Hello Nanu! Pelipona Nanu!
Nanu- Jeete raho puttar!
Sunny- Kya kar rahe ho nanu?
Nanu- Main' main bahar jaa raha hoon puttar!
Sunny- Nanu! Main na aaj paanch peoms likha class mein!
Nanu- Accha wah mera shere! Kaisa poem? Kitna lamba?
Sunny- Bas do line ka paanch poems!
Nanu- Wah wah Sunny puttar! Tum ghar pe ho kya?
Sunny- Haan!
Nanu- Akele?
Sunny- Nahin! Saath mein Raavi didi aur Raashi did hai na!
Just then Dolly called Nanu- Pappaji! Chalein?
Nanu- Haan puttar! (Nanu then continued speaking to Sunny as he went out of the room.)
Thus you met a large family. A very closely knit family. Nanu, his son Lovely and his daughter-in-law Dolly. Nanu's daughters Sweety and Pinky. Their husbands Lucky Ahluwalia and Jeet Ahuja. Their children, the Ahluwalia siblings Rocky and Ginny and the Ahuja siblings Raavi, Raashi and Sunny.
It is the story of relationships and bonding. Ginny and Raashi are in class nine now. Raavi-Rocky in class eleven. Sunny is in class six. The cousins are closely knit and the siblings love each other, supported each other. Fight they did, but did never let others hurt their near and dear ones.
Jeet has recently changed jobs. With Lucky's help, he has got a job with a top, international bank as a manager. Lucky's real estate agency business is flourishing. Sisters Sweety and Pinky have started a home based business, where they cater to the needs of functions and events.
Nanu is a retired man now, living with his son and daughter-in-law, who manage their own catering company.
A family is a backbone without which no one can survive. Jab baat kabhi bhi bigaad jaaye tab kaun saath deta hai? Parivaar. Jab mushkil mein koi phas jaaye tab kaun pass mein rehte hai? Parivaar.
This story is of values and beliefs and the whole system of family life. Problems are solved and situations are faced. The family does it together. Parvarrish. Mistakes are made and learnt from. Everyday something or the other comes up. The family stays thick through all bad times and stays together during good times.
Parvarrish- Jab baat bigaad jaaye, jab mushkil mein phas jaaye, family stays together.
