honestly giving freedom to your kids is fine but only at a certain age...not in 8th grade...they are kids at that time...jeet knowingly allowed raashi to go but she is in trouble...so it is not that if your parents know then you will be fine...that party was just not appropriate for an 8th grade kids...that is why i agree with sweety but i wish she had told her kids her reasons...i dont like the fact that raashi lies so much but today she actually did help ginny...ginny is the type of person who will know where the trouble lies but she doesnt want to create a scene so she will just keep quite...like the guy holding her hand and she didnt like it..but she didnt dare to tell him no...so if a guy had asked her to go upstairs she would go and then when she does ask for help there wouldnt be anyone there to help her...

pinky and jeet need to control raashi...she lies too much and manipulates everyone to get her way...in this situation i am with sweety gi...she wasnt just saying no for no reason...she knew these things can happen and her daughter is young...she was ok sending her if it was in their house but not so far without parental supervision...one thing i can say based on when i was their age even when they did give me reasons as to why i cant go i still wanted to go and didnt agree with my parents but i didnt dare to go without telling anyone...so even if sweety had explained he reasons i doubt the kids would understand...i hope jeet learns now that raashi is not his age and does not have that much wisdom to know what is right or wrong so being friends with her instead of parent wont work..i think there will be a showdown between pinky and jeet because she didnt want raashi to go in first place...

I actually believe that these parents are at fault too. I mean Jeet specifically. Ideally kids their age should be partying with adults or guardians around. Talking about Jeet since he is the one who let Raashi go willingly, he should have contacted Meenakshi's and more importantly Sam's parents to make sure that adults ( and I mean Sam's parents) knew who was coming to their child's party and that they would be around to keep an eye on these kids. That much trust is not good either unless you are 100% sure that your kids are dhoodh ke dhule hue. 😆 So consequences are bound to happen!

Not really, IMO. Right and wrong is relative but in this case I don't see how Sweety's 'NO' to Ginny's request kept her away from harm's way. Like Binge mentioned earlier and I totally agree with that...you put too many restrictions on kids and then they are more temped to go against their parent's wishes. I have seen it. And Rocky has played an important part in this mess. Fool! 😆 He is going to get it good from Sweety this time and I think Lucky should have a word with him too.

I don't know abt d parenting style, but y should d show show d kids landing in trouble? Y do dey hv 2 show something OTT happening? Y couldn't it hv been dat d kids going on d sly, hving a good time returning nd den their parents knowing abt it? Nd den d discussion abt who is rigth nd wrong would hv been valid. D emphasis should hv been on d kids telling a LIE nd not in getting into trouble. If dey hadn't got into troublle, den still it would hv been wrong in their path coz dey lied. I'm not sure whether I've been to hasty in putting across my point, coz I've noy even seen d epi😆 but tht's wat I think dat just show normal proceedings wid different parenting nd kid styles.

@ ssshhh

Kids landing in trouble is not at all OTT. What they shown happens in real life situations too.

Discussion about right and wrong about parent's part plus kids lying before anything wrong happen. We did have in this forum in earlier threads. 😊

Even if we overlook the trouble part. It was wrong on Ginny, Rashi and Rocky's part to lie. Yes Rashi got the permission for her but she knew Ginny was going to be there with her. So she lied. She is lying so much always. Jeet and Pinky, Rashi's parents, never talked to her about her lying habit. Not even when last time they had landed in trouble with her lying with that school letter issue.Jeet just stop talking with her and talked with her when Rashi once again fake her fever which btw Pinky came to know still that was ignored as mischievous thing.

I agree with what Peacefull wrote.. parenting especially in today's times is so difficult. I bet every generation parent would say the same. 😆 But what with today's reach of technology and peer pressure which starts building as early as toddlers it is really a uphill task for parents to draw that thin line between being friend and parent.

@Sweta01 - but dat's exactly wat I am trying 2 say. Y show dem in trouble? D kids hv lied nd dat's wrong. Wat dey r trying 2 show is dat dey land in trouble. But wat I'm saying is dat irrespective of whetehr dey land in trouble or not, it was wrong 2 lie.
Haven't seen d previous epis., but if u r saying dat previously too Rashi (hope I got d name right) lied nd covered up wid fake fever nd her mom came 2 know but dey didn't show any consequences tht Rashi faced 4 her lying, den it should not be d case. Bring d whole situation 2 a logical conclusion, instead of letting d wrong doer get away, especially as dey r kids.
Out of topic, but chalo shuru ho gaya hamara confliciting POVs. 🤗😆😆😆

Haha Ssshhh.. it is not conflicting.. we both agreed that it is wrong to lie and parents handling of the same is not the right one.

About the trouble part.. well serial hai toh drama toh banta hai 😆 I hope there is some communication on even if there was no trouble it was wrong on the children part to lie and go there. Guess that will make you happy :P

I think it is important to show that going to such parties at this age without adult supervision can land one is trouble. Children are to be blamed as well as parents here for different reasoning.

Like I said in my earlier post, parenting is surely has become very difficult. We dont want to listen to our child's every demand to get in their good books. That would be not proper parenting and detrimental to the child and parent for their future. Nor is always saying no like an order. Freedom and restrictions should be balance both with proper reasoning since early on in the relationship.
