Hey guys !Hope you all r doing well. Well first of all i am really sorry for putting a hold on this FF from past few months. But the reason is my exams that are going on from past 1 month and will continue till the end of this month. I am hardly active on india-forums. So do spare me this month as well. I will restart this FF after this month for sure. Will not leave it mid way. :)

I'm dying to read your updates!.. All the very best for your exams..

CHAPTER 3

"If I say yes ki haan yeh thoda zyada ho gaya toh?" Ritika questioned as she cut a sorry face.

Navya and Ritika were sitting under a shade in the ground. Navya told her about what all happened today starting from Anant and her to be in the same class till the complaint matter.

"But vo cheat kar raha tha aur mujhe aise logo se sakt nafrat hain joh cheating ki madat se pass hote hain." Navya grumbled under her breath.

"Ye school nai hain Navya, aur tu koi bachhi nahi hain joh ki teacher se har baat complain karde."

Ritika tried to state the fact.

"Haww!" Navya looked at her open mouthed "Tu us ladke ki side le rahi hain?"

"Nai main tujhe faltu pange lene se rok rahi hoon." Smiled Ritika at her."Ab chale canteen, bohut bhook lagi hain."

She dragged Navya along with her towards the canteen.

It was midweek.

As usual Navya reached first in the canteen than Ritika after her classes. She was surprised to see the whole canteen crowded with students.

"Iss college mein koi padhne bhi aata hain?" Navya thought amusingly.

She spotted one vacant table in the middle and walked towards it to sit but as she pulled the chair for her, someone sat before her.

"Thank you." Anant said with a mischievous smile.

"Tum?" Navya shouted aloud. Everyone stared at her weirdly. She looked around and modules her tone.

"Tum toh suspend ho gaye thae na?" She asked raising her eyebrows.

"Haan toh? Classes se hua tha canteen se toh nahi." Anant replied raising his eyebrows mimicking her making her more furious.

She rolled her eyes listening his answer. Suddenly she remembers that he has just captured her seat.

"Aur yeh kya? Yahan main baithne wali thi."

"Aur yahan pe main pehle se baitha hua tha. Apna order lene gaya tha." He gestured her towards his food.

Navya made a face and replied "Lekin jab maine yeh table dekhi tab ye khali thi isliye yahan main baithungi."

"Arae yaar problem kya hain tumahri? Maine kaha na, main yahan pehle se baitha tha."

"Fine toh main bhi yehi khadi rahungi." Navya said with an attitude and stood there with folded arms.

"Okay, as you wish." Anant shakes his shoulder casually and started eating.

Navya was shocked to see the audacity of this guy but decided not to let him win and stood straight near his table. Anant stopped eating for a while and looked at her.

"Baith sakti ho."

"Kya?" She looked down at him confused.

" Tum chaho toh yahan baith sakti ho." Anant said as he took another bite of his burger.

"No thanks. Main apni friend ka wait kar rahi hoon aur tumahri iss table ka chodne ka bhi." She said making a face.

"Haan toh theek haina baithke wait karlo. I won't mind."

Navya thought for a while and saw there is no harm in sitting as she knows Ritika will take ample time to come and this guy will not leave the table soon just to bug her more.

She sat there with a frown. Anant smiled unknowingly seeing at this. He was enjoying himself by teasing her.

Both looked at each other awkwardly as they didn't know what to say.

"So 2^nd year mein college kaise join kiya?" Anant said breaking the silence.

"Vo mere papa ka yahan Mumbai mein transfer ho gaya isliye." She replied.

"Tum yahan..." Navya tried to ask but he cuts her.

"Main yahan 1^st year se hi hoon. Meri aur Tewari Sir ki conversation se nahi pata chala?" He asked with a smirk.

Navya recalled the way how that professor was taunting Anant.

"Haan vo mujhe bhi kuch khadoos se lage." Navya confessed in the flow.

"Haina! Mujhe toh vo starting se hi lagte hain." He said with a laugh and they raised their hands to give a hi-fi but stopped abruptly. They lowered their hands and were surprised by their own behavior that how they chatted like casual friends a moment ago despite the kind of enmity they share.

Just then Navya's phone started ringing. It was Ritika. She mentally thanked her for saving her from further embarrassment. She gave a forced smile showing her ringing phone to him and got out of the canteen.

Anant saw her going and thought how he became so carefree with her all of a sudden but then thought of diverting his mind and started eating again.

Navya has no idea how quickly 1 month have passed in her new college. Like always she has come over to her home in the weekend and it was now time for her to go back to her college.

"Beta tune theek se kuch khaya bhi nahi, mai tere liye kuch aur bana doon." Meeta came to Navya with a worried face as she lifted her bag on her shoulder to go.

"Nahi maa uski koi zaroorat nahi maine ache se kha liya hain. Aap apna dhyan rakhna." Navya smiled fondly at her.

"Navya tu har bar toh der se nikalti hain iss baar 7:00 baje hi kyun jaa rahi hain?"

"Kyuki kal mera ek class test hain aur uske liye thoda prepare karna aur abhi niklungi toh hi 9:00 baje tak jaake pohuchungi."

"Acha theek hain." Meeta gave a fade smile and hugged her. Navya broke the hug and sat beside her father in the car. She waved her mother a goodbye.

On her way, they crossed a dark road with few streetlights flickering away. Suddenly she saw a guy with his bike standing at one corner going through his camera. She thought that she can resemble this figure and peeked a bit from her glass and just then the guy lifted his face and she saw Anant. She was unable to react as his father drove fast from there.

"Kya hua beta? Bahar andhere mein kya dekh rahi ho?" Deepak asked.

Navya looked at her father and sits straight.

"Ku..kuch nahi papa." She faked a smile.

"Yeh Anant iss tarah ek sunsaan si sadak par kar kya raha tha?" Navya thought confusedly.

PRECAP:

Navya could see someone trying to jump inside from the campus wall.

"Yeh campus mein iss tarah kaun ghusne ki koshish kar raha hain." Thought Navya and went a bit closer to find out. She tried to scream just then that person kept his hand on her mouth.

Haww...Mystery! Ab jaldi se next update do yaar because I hate suspense! But it was an amazing chapter! I loved the weird bond they are sharing!
