LOVE HAPPENS <3 *FINAL CHAPTER* LOVE HAPPENS

"Here's the message ma'am!!" the receptionist handed over a piece of paper to her.

"Pata hai Kya kabhi kabhi sochta huun kash... kash tumne Rajiv aur meri baatein nahi suni hoti to shayad aj... aj yeh sab... Pata nahi Navya aage kya kahun... kaise kahun uss ladki ke bare me jisse main... main..." the note ended.

Navya Looked up and then looked around but she couldn't find Anant.. She went to the receptionist again and said, "excuse me can you tell me where is my husband?? Where did he go??"

"Yeh Ma'am he went that way... towards the pool..." said she.

Navya hastened towards the pool at once But when she reached there.. she could not find Anant... she was restless, impatient. She wanted to meet him talk to him right away but he was nowhere to be seen. She looked around keenly But Anant was not there.

"Ma'am" a small boy Pulled at Navya's top.

Navya looked at the boy.

"This is for you" the boy handed over a piece of paper to her.

Navya opened it eagerly.

"What shall I say about the girl who Lives in her Dream world... a girl who loves the prince and the princess, loves the rain and the dances??... what shall I say about the girl who fancies poetry.. a girl who believes in fairies and fairy lands??... What shall I say about the girl who loves the open air and the green pastures... what shall I say about the girl who is scared... scared Like me...a girl who is Mad... Mad Like me??..."

"Where is he?? The one who gave this to you??" asked Navya to the boy.

The small Boy pointed towards a tall, swarthy man approaching the elevator.

"Thanks" said Navya and rushed towards him.

"Anant!!" shouted Navya but it was of no use he had already got into the elevator.

Now that she missed him again, She had No option but to wait for the elevator to come back to the ground floor and take her where Anant went. she grew increasingly impatient though. She had never felt this restless in her entire life.

When the elevator came down, She couldn't wait to get into it. She pounced in and said "where did you take my husband? Which floor I mean"

"The handsome man who went up to the terrace right now you mean.. Is he your...?"

"The terrace... The terrace.. take me up there." she told the attendant on the lift without letting him complete his sentence.

The elevator took off but then it haulted at each storey for other people and this annoyed Navya she wanted to reach the terrace and talk to Anant as soon as she could!! She had millions of thoughts... questions running in her mind at that moment. When the Elevator finally stood still in front of the opera hall in the terrace Navya almost Rushed out of it and walked passed the Hall straight to the terrace. But when she was finally there, she found No one again. Anant was no where!! She walked around the terrace But could not find Anant.

"Anant!!" called Navya.

There was no reply!

"Anant are you there??"

There was no reply again.

Navya was all restless by now because she could not find Anant.

"You promised me Anant that you won't leave me again." Said Navya this time softly.

When there was still no reply and Anant was still nowhere to be seen, she was upset and turned around to go back.. Just then something happened and she turned...

Someone played the guitar singing her favourite song...

Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave
How can I love when I'm afraid to fall
But watching you stand alone
All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow

Anant was playing a guitar and singing the song. Navya was amazed, surprised, taken aback all at once and she stood still at her position...away from Anant...

One step closer

And Anant moved a step closer to Navya. However Navya did not move. She stood at her position..

I have died everyday waiting for you

As Anant sang the Lines he looked into Navya's eyes and Navya in turn looked into his. They did not blink.. Their eyes were somehow hooked.. Anant came a bit closer again still looking into her eyes.

Time stands still
Beauty in all she is
I will be brave
I will not let anything take away
What's standing in front of me
Every breath
Every hour has come to this

One step closer

And Anant moved a step forward again coming even closer to Navya. Navya still did not move

.. Anant moved a step forward again and Now Navya was very close to him.. She needed to just put "one step closer" to feel him breathe. But she did not move.. She still had this stong gaze in her eyes looking straight into his but neither saying anything nor moving..

Anant finished the song and he had a smile on his face. But Navya still did not have any reaction except for d gaze.

Anant went down on his knees and this made Navya move a step backward as she started at this.

"what shall I say about the girl who means more than a kingdom to me? Will you... will you be mine??"

Anant waited for some time for her to speak but there was no reply.. There was silence between them as they gazed into each others eyes!!

Then to Anant's amazement Navya turned away from him and started walking in the opposite direction. "Navya!!" called Anant.

Navya stopped but did not move or turn to Face Anant.

Anant started moving towards Navya and said,

""How do I love thee? Let me count the ways."

And this made Navya turn. She couldn't believe what she heard. She was amazed.

"I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace."

Anant approached her slowly and Navya stared at him amazed. He continued reciting the poem,

"I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use"

And now Anant was again close to her, she forgot to move away now.

"In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death."

Navya put her hand on his mouth. She was all teary eyed but could not speak. She was gagged by what just happened. She didn't know what to say, do or think. All she could do was cry. And when Anant held her by her shoulder and tried to pull her close. She pushed him away again and uttered with much difficulty, "Tum bohot bure ho! Bohot bohot bure!"

But now Anant was determined not to let her go and though she still resisted. He forcefully pulled her close embracing her within his arms and Navya felt safe, safe within the arms of her husband, her prince, her Anant!!

Anant too was emotional and when Navya kept repeating "Tum bohot bure ho.." Anant tightened his hold and said crying and smiling at the same time, "Mujhe pata hai.. lekin sirf main nahi.. tum bhi bohot buri ho.. aur sab tumhari galti hai.."

"Meri galti!" replied Navya freeing herself.

"Haan tumhari galti!! Tumne kaise keh diya ke dil pe kisika bas nahi aur mujhe koi aur pasand hai isme kuch galat nahi hai?? Tum, meri patni agar aise bologi to mujhe kya lagega ke tumhe koi fark hi nahi padta.. hai na?"

"Haan toh maine kaha aur tumne maan bhi liya... yeh nahi socha ke main... main kaise keh skti thi ki main..."

"Ke tum?? Tum kya Navya??"

"Anant main.."

"Bolo Navya main sun raha huun.." said Anant with a naughty smile..

"Anant!!" said Navya hitting him on his chest for pulling her leg and then embracing him. Anant too laughed and wrapped her within his arms.

For how long Navya they remained hugging each other is not known because it seemed like eternity for both of them. But when Navya slowly recovered from the overwhelming experience. She gathered herself and smiled as a naughty thought came across her mind. She spoke still in Anant's arms. "Anant!"

"Hmmm..."

"What about us?"

"what?" asked a puzzled Anant not understanding her question!

"What about us?? Matlab both of us cant be in the same Love story na!!?"

"Both?? Kya??" Anant was still puzzled.

"Tumhi ne uss din Rajiv se kaha na ke you love her!!"

"Her?!"... "Oh ho!! Navya... woh to main.. !!! sach kehta hai Rajiv ladkiya na..."

Navya cut his words abruptly saying, "Main kya??.. you love her!! Tumne exactly yahi bola tha.. aur ab..."

"Shhh... ek dam chup!!"said Anant putting his hand on Navya's lips and then pulling her close. "Yes Both has to be in the same Love story.. You and me.. Both of us.. Yes I Love her like I said Rajiv that day and that her is You!! I Love you. Pagal Ladki!! And I don't even know when, how and where I started Loving you. All I know is I love you. All I care for is you, and thats how I feel. I Love You."

Navya who was overwhelmed again had tears in her eyes and Anant embraced her again.

After some time a thought struck Navya and she asked him, "waise tumhe yeh sab pata kaise chala??"

"Kya sab??"

"Yeh poem, mera favourite song ihan tak ki yeh red top aur black jeans??"

"Hmmm... Anant ko sab pata hai.." said Anant and laughed.

Navya smiled and said, "Acha ji!! Jhoothe!! Sach batao!!"

Anant laughed and said, "woh Subah Appy ne phone kiya tha to usne bataya ke you always wanted to wear a Red top and black jeans but papa ke strict rules ke wajah se nahi pehen payi to maine socha ke... aur ushi ne bataya about your favourite song!! Aur poem ke Baare me... woh maine tumhari diary padhi thi na to..."

Navya who was still in a naughty mood, suddenly made an angry face, 'Anant main niche Jaa rahi huun.."

"Kya kyun?? kya hua!!"

"Tumne meri diary padhi.. mujhse puche bina?? How very bad!! Kitne bure ho tum.. Main tumse naraz huun aur ja rahi hun.." and she pushed Anant aside and started moving hastily towards the elevator and Anant ran after her. He knew Navya was playing up and smiled to himself. He too rushed into the elevator following Navya. The attendant was not there this time and they were all alone and so,as soon as it closed Anant pinned her against the wall and brought his face close to her ear and said in a soft whispering tone, "agar main tumhari diary nahi padta to mujhe Pata kaise chalta ke tum..."

The elevator stopped and the door opened. They had reached their floor and it was time for them to get out of it. Anant was annoyed at the interruption and Navya smiled naughtily. She pushed him and rushed passed him towards their room.

Navya entered the room first, only to find the room lit with candles. The darkness of the room interrupted with their faint lights. The very atmosphere, the aura of the room made her feel different, feel something that she had never felt before.

"Anant!!" shouted Navya in shock as he suddenly lifted her into his arms, sweeping her off her feet.

"What?" said Anant softly in a whisper.

"Yeh kya kar rahe ho Anant? Mujhe jane do please.."

"Kahan jaogi Navya?? woh bhi itne raat ko??" asked Anant in his soft husky voice.

Navya who was so long looking into his eyes put her eyes down and looked away not replying.

Anant carried her right up to the middle of the room and then put her down. They both now stood by the bed, facing each other.

Navya was looking away feeling shy and nervous.

"Navya!" whispered Anant looking at Navya.

Navya slowly looked up at him and couldn't take her eyes off his. His already attractive eyes gleamed at her with Passion, so much that she felt bewitched by them.

Anant slowly leaned forward, his gaze so full of heated passion that Navya melted then and there. As he came closer Navya closed her eyes and Anant chuckled, a soft sound that vibrated through her neck as he kissed her ear lobe. And now Anant moved back, only to find Navya's eyes still closed. He raised his hand and brought it close to her cheek and touched it softly.

A shiver ran through Navya and she squeezed her eyes. Anant leaned again kissing Navya on her forehead, eyes, the corners of her cheeks and chin. Navya stood still kindled within but as Anant lifted his head and approached his wife's lips, he stopped midway again like earlier. He opened her eyes and saw that Navya still had her eyes closed. He moved away a little and this made her open her eyes and she looked straight into his hazel ones. She knew he had a question in his mind like the other times he had stopped! But this time she decided to answer him.

Navya held Anant by his shirt and pulled him closer slowly. They were close, close like never before. She brought her mouth close to his ears and said quetly in a soft tone "I Love You, Anant."

"Kiss me" she whispered into her husband's lips bringing hers close to his.

And he kissed her. His undid her hair clip, burying his hands in her Long hair, caressing them while she wrapped hers round his shoulders. Nothing seemed to stop them now. The world ceased to exist beyond that moment for them.

Later that night when Anant slept peacefully with his wife wrapped within his arms. Navya stayed up staring at her sleeping husband. She was lost again, lost in thoughts. She thought that she was no more Navya now.. she was Navya Anant Bajpayee just as Anant wrote in the front page of her diary. She kissed Anant's chin who stirred a little and held her closer.

Navya in turn rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes and as she did so she thought of her childhood faith, faith in the fairy land, the captive princess, her prince who rescues her and whisks her off to a safe abode of Forever land! But then as she grew up her faith was always shaken with intervals of doubts and she had questions. Questions that she had thought would remain unanswered for Life!! But Now as she felt released from the captivity of doubts and safe within the abode of her husband's Arms. She knew that all her questions were answered.

*A FEW YEARS LATER*

"Mumma!! I am reading this book. Its a romance novel and its so weird you know.. here the Girl says she didn't even realize when she fell in love with the hero?!"

Navya smiled at the question asked by her young daughter, "Nia.. Its about emotions and a lot of other things!! Sometimes you tend to not know when things happen to you. Its a complicated thing to explain!!"

"But Mumma how can you fall in Love without knowing? How can you do anything without knowing? How is that even possible?"

"That is possible." Barged in the adorable father, Anant who was just back from office. " love is a unique feeling and you know what Love happens!!"

"O wow!! Love happens!!" repeated Nia lost probably thinking over what her Dad just told her.

"Yes. Thats right Nia!" said Navya.

Navya looked at Anant with an approving smile and Anant smiled back gesturing her "I Love You"
