RS: LOVE HAPPENS <3 Chapter 1: That Night In The Room

Little did Navya understand what to do as she entered the room--her new room. She was scared, bit apprehensive as to what will happen.. she entered the room still scared,the lights in the room were on.. She looked around and found that the room was huge.. the bed was decorated with flowers and it looked beautiful but that only increased her anxiety and fear.. She saw the photo of the original room holder placed by the bedside and the reality struck her hard she was in a stranger's room. A person whom she barely knew.. And the funny part was this that it was her room too from now on. She went up to the bedside picked up the photo and said to herself "Anant Bajpayee. This is all I know about you. Is this much knowledge enough to call myself Mrs. Anant Bajpayee..." sighed Navya.

"I dont even know if you are ready to share your name as a matter of fact even this room---your room with me."

As Navya spoke to herself there was a knock at the door. She became conscious, placed the photo back and moved away from the bedside. She asked the person at the door to come in.

The person was Anant.

Anant and Navya had had an arranged marriage that too a hurried one. Anant's grand father was ill and he wished to see him married. So Anant had to give his consent to marry Navya without even knowing her properly. BUT that does not mean that they did not meet before their marriage, they definitely did. But that was in the presence of all the family members.

Anant wanted to meet Navya alone and had arranged for a meeting in a restaurant but Navya's family being conservative had sent Dadi along with her and hence Anant's wish remained unfulfilled.. It was Daadi who spoke to Anant all the time and the only thing that Anant ended up asking her was her hobbies which again was answered by her Daadi.. But from his meeting with Navya which he had mentally named "Mu dikhayi" he had deciphered one thing that the pretty girl he was about to marry was sigh and reserved.

Anant was awkward too and did not know what to say. They both stood in silence for sometime..

"Aaap...tum khari kyun ho?? Baitho na.." Anant spoke in an attempt to break the silence.

"baithu lekin woh.. main.. kahan.." said Navya, fumbling..

"Kahan?? bed pe baitho.." Anant gave an obvious reply.

The mention of the bed made the already nervous Navya all the more nervous.. She got scared and her fear showed on her face. Anant seeing her expression realized that she had misunderstood and immediately said," woh tum bed ke paas khari ho to bed pe hi baith jao..bed pe nahi to tum sofe pe bhi baith sakti ho.. " said Anant pointing to the sofa.

"Nahi woh.. main thik hun.." said Navya.

Anant was about to say something to Navya when someone knocked at the door. Anant went up to the door to open it and found that it was Nimisha, his sister.

" Nimisha tujhe kuch kaam hai kya??" asked Anant

"Wah bhai kya main bina kaam ke aapke ke kamre me nahi aa sakti. shadi hote hi aap to badal gaye. par isme aapki koi galti nahi hai.. I can understand." said Nimisha teasing her brother. Anant could sense that Nimisha's teasing made Navya all the more scared and nervous and that the situation became increasingly uncomfortable.

"bakwas band kar Nimisha. Jaldi bata kya batane aayi hai.."

"arre baapre mujhe bhagane ke liye itne utwale ho rahe ho bhaiyya."

"Nimmi agar tujhe kuch kaam nahi hai na to ja ihan se."

"Acha baba ja rahi hun. yeh lo." said Nimmi handing an envelope to Anant."aapke honeymoon tickets aap niche hall me bhool aaye the."

Navya who had no idea about the tickets was shocked to hear the news and looked from Anant to Nimisha.

"Kya bhaiyya aapne bhabi ko nahi bataya honeymoon tickets ke baare me." asked nimisha " Bhabi yehi to hai papa ka gift aap dono ko. Honeymoon package" said Nimisha looking at Navya.

Anant said,"Haan woh main bhool gaya.. ab tera ho gaya to tu ja ihanse.."

"han baba ja rahi hun Bhabi ko Good night to bol dun... Good Night bhabi.. jaldi so jana zyada der mat jagna.. woh kal aapki early morning flight hai na.." said Nimisha in a teasing manner.. this only made Navya more tense..

As Nimisha left the room. He looked back at Navya who looked at him with a blank expression. Anant did not know what to tell her. There was silence again.

He knew the already difficult night has now become all the more difficult for them.
