OS : Ranika(ranbir +ritika) updated at page 3 & 4 - Page 3

Next day morning Ranbir got up early. He got ready to go for jogging with his father which was his daily morning routine, but today even though his was ready his mind was wandering elsewhere ,thinking about the ID card he has with him and the bag.

Meanwhile Ritika got up early and phoned appy.

Appy : Kya ritz, itni subah subah kyun jaga diya. Mein ek ache si sapna dekh rahi thi' tum sunogi

Ritz: are nayi appy, tum abhi bhi sapnon mein ho.. idhar mein tension ke mare mar rahi hoon.

Appy: kya hua?

Ritz: Appy tum jaldi ready ho jao. Mein tumhe pick kartiii hoon. Baki bad be bataungi.

Appy: par ritz'.(ritz cut the phone in a hurry) appy to herself'. Isse kya ho gaya. Exam dene gayi thi ,, ab tension hai'. Isi liye mein to kabhi exams ki taraf mudke dekthi bhi nahi'.

In another few minutes ritz came near appy's house. Appy was ready and eating her brkfast. They got in and left in ritz's car.

But Ranbir's mind was not interested in jogging . he took excuse from his father and told him that he had to meet his sports incharge early at college regarding the match and left for college.

Both of them had their bags with them for exchanging'

Now,, CK ENGINEERING COLLEGE''.

It was too early to reach college. Ritz had no idea about where to go search for the guy she met in train..na naam patha hain ,na course patha hain.. Appy was laughing al the way

She was telling ritz: Arey agar aise exams likene jayee and bag exchange ho jayeein , tho mein jarroor jaaungi' mein sara books usmein bhar dhoongi , aur kissi se takrauungi' aur hayyy mera bag exchange ho jayyegaa and I will be BOOK FREEE'. Wow what an idea'.

Ritz: arey mein yahan dar rahi huuu aur thummm ho ki'. Ritz felt like banging on appy's head.

Appy : tum itna darr kyun rahi ho' uss bag mein aisa kyaa tha'?

Ritz: My ID card,,,, uakke bina mein class mein kaise baitoon, library kaise jaaungi'.

Appy : koi apna ID bag mein chodtha hain? Tumara hand bag kahan thi?

Ritz: exam ke baad , jaldi mein books ke saath bag mein hi rakh diya' aur ussmein mera library books bhi hein.

Appy: arey don't worry we wil find out.. chalo sports section mein poochthe hein. Waise sports sir Mr Panday tumare papa ke friend hai na?

Ritz: Haaa par unse kaise pooch? Papa ko bataya bhi nahi bag ke bare mein. Nahi nahi...

Appy stil took her to the building where sports teachers and students do thier discussions and practises..

Idhar Ranbir reached college early.. He too was confused where to search for ritika as he knew the name now from the ID. He opened the bag once again ,, and was wondering what to do,,, Suddenly his eyes fell upon a book. I t was the same book that he read last week from library. H e took it out and opened it. He was surprised to see that it was borrowed from their college library. Now he knew what to do.. He decided something in his mind and left straight for library.

Ritika and Appy went to the staff room to see if someone was there. But couldn't find anyone. They thought teachers wil be in their practicing ground and went there but nobody was there,Actualy everyone was busy preparing for the congratulation function for felicitating the students who came winnig from various sports matches..

They were disappointed and left from there. Now ritika felt like crying. Where to search for him , noboby is there in the sports section, and the only clue she knew was about the badminton match , and panday sir she was scared to ask him as he would tell her father and her father would shout at her for being careless and moreover he was out of station.

As they headed towards their building where their classes were conducted , somebody called her from behind. She turned back.

Ritz was surprised to hear this as sha hadn't returned any book to library for the past feew minutes then whom and moreover that book was the one she was carrying with her for the exam. She knew that it is that guy who returned it.

Appy: I am here ,, see today there is a dance competition for mechanical students , see the banner how beautiful it is.

Ritz: please appy chodo issko, chalo mere sath , vo ladka college mein hain.. chalo library chalthe hein'

Appy : library? Par library kyun?

Ritz: he just returned the book which I was carrying. Teena was having it with her . college mein ek hi copy thi. Mene liya tha exam ke liye.. now teena is having it..

I am sure its him who returned it.

Appy : par vo tumara book kaise'.?

Ritz: he is having my ID no? so he can return it in the drop box . it will get cleared by typing the ID number.

Appy: are to chalo nahi'bhaagooo? Library'''.. hum aaa rahe hein

Ritz: madam, can I know who returned the book in my name?

Librarian: many people give books here, how will I remember the person, by the way tell me yr name.

(as it is a big college library, the librarian usually doesn't keep track of every faces but as ritz was a bookworm , the librarian was quite familiar with her face)

Ritika replied her name and id. Madam typed it in computer and said: yes, I remember the person as he left a message for u . He told its regarding the books.

She handed the letter to ritika. She opened it curiously.

It said. Hai I am Ranbir, I returned yr book in library without yr permission as there was no other go to find you out. If you get this message please come to the auditorium where a sports function is being held. Will give yr bag there and hope u have mine.

Just then Ritz thought about Ranbir's bag . oh I didn't take it from the college gate. I forgot . What a fool I am.

Appy: now what happened? Why are you tensed?

Ritz: Appy mein vo bag bhool gayi, entrance pe.

Appy: to phir mein kis cheez ki dawa hoon. Mene bag ko sports staff room mein rakha hain. Jab tum staff room se uss tennis court gayi thi tab.

Ritz: oh Appy thanks mein to dar gayi. Chal bag leke aate hein

Appy: arey phir se bag leke ghhomna hain? Vo 100 kilo ka wajan kaun utayega? Badminton bat aur uska kya kya cheezen ye letter mein kya likha tha?

Ritz: uss ladke ka letter hein. Ussne auditorium mein aane ko kaha hey

Appy : to phir chalo auditorium . ye riddles pe riddles banaye jar aha hey ( appy said to herself)

They went to auditorium where some sports banner was hung. It was getting late for class but they decided to bunk first hour. They wanted the bag badly. When they entered the hall people were seated , some announcements were going on '.

Ritika started searching for the face which she saw in train. But it was crowded she couldn't make out anyone. She went a bit ahead in search of ranbir, appy was also following her. Ritz walked again forward , Appy wanted to call her back but they wanted to attend class too so went ahead'.

Suddenly they heard a loud applause and all were shouting Ranbir, Ranbir ,RANBIR''.

Ritz listened and looked towards the stage. She saw a guy in Sky blue t-shirt and black jeans mounting the stage and going forward to collect the trophy. She remembered him.It was the same guy whom she had seen in the train. She was very happy and looked at appy. Appy understood it was Ranbir, whom they were searching for. They went ahead and here Ranbir received the trophy and was posing for photograph with the cheifguest , he noticed a girl coming forwards through the crowd. The guest was applauding him but all his attention was on ritz who was walking and coming front to meet ranbir. He knew she had got his message and she found him out. He was happy. He thanked the chief guest and his sir and quickly got down from the stage. Meanwhile ritz and appy had reached front and they saw ranbir holding a trophy and walking towards them. Now was the prize for overall championships so the students were moving front shouting,, and ritz and ranbir moved aside appy too.

Ranbir ; Hello, sorry for the disturbance I didn't mean to trouble you .

Ritz: its ok, I got the message from librarian, thanks for it. I was worried about my bag..

Ranbir: I didn't know anyother way, as yr id didn't mention the course u r studying, so I thought of this. I was sure u would go to library to tell about the delay in returning book as its due date was printed for today.

Ritz: yes ,but forgot all those in tension.

Appy was listening to their convo. Just then someone held ranbir back .and lifted him

Hayyy'. Best sportsman of this year '.. mera treat kahan hain'..

Ranbir: are Anant ANANT shouted ranbir , chod muje''. Neeche uttaar.

(anant as ranbir called him, made ranbir to stand down)

Anant: ok ok ,,, well my treat?

Ranbir : deta hoon' par abhi tooo ye pakad ,,,,

He gave his trophy to anant and ran towards the backstage.

Ritz and appy wee also gazing at him as anant was. Anant turned back and smiled at the girls. They too smiled back but all three didn't understand what was happening. The function was over. Everyone was returning to classes .They were looking at these three standing aside . anant ritz and appy felt awkward,anant didn't know what to do. Just when he was trying to say something ranbir came there . he was carrying a bag with him. It was ritika's bag.

Ranbir: Yeh lijiye' aapka bag. Check kar lo ki saaree cheezen hey ya nahin. Tumara ID bhi ussme hain.

Ritz: (happily) thank u thanks a lot. I thought it will be lost. Haan saaree cheezein hain(she just opened and closed it by taking her ID out) this was more important.

Ranbir: I know,,, welll my bag?

Ritz: sorry mein bag saath nahi laayi,,, par sports staff room mein rakha hein. I didn't take anything out.

Ranbir: ok thanks mein wahan se le loonga. And smiled back

Ritz too smiled ,,, ranbir smiled again,, they didn't have anything to speak ,, but smiled.

Anant was watching all this surprisingly. He didn't understand what was happening. He coughed to break the smile. To chale' he asked ranbir..

Ranbir looked at him questioningly.

Anant said: sports staff room' bag'.

Ritz told: ab hume chalna chahiye' classes hein. Chal appy. By the way this is appy my childhood friend and classmate.

Appy told hello to ranbir and anant.

Ranbir introduced anant .. he is anant my friend , best friend.

The two girls said hai to him and started to go.

Ritz suddenly turned back and said to ranbir : congrats for yr achievement.

Ranbir: thanks'

Ritz and appy walked away with the bag.Ranbir stood there gazing at ritz'' and anant was wondering what was happening.
