absolutely looowwwed the fact that Anant started dancing in his own baraat !!!!! his instinct that had told him that something was wrong also told him that everything was okay...he is one happy dulha and he also got Deepak to dance with him...that was really nice...weddings are such an emotional time for the girls' side that they really need some lightness of being and if the new member being added to their family is so obviously delighted to be the addition, I can imagine that it would make their day and the wedding a happy happy ceremony which is how it should be underneath all the pomp and ritual !!!!

Also Anant and Navya got to see each other in their bridal attire the traditional way between the gate and the balcony and the wink added the icing to the cake!!

Now the rant...when Navya was supposed to apologise she was expected to apologise to both Guddu and his disgusting mother, but Guddu is only supposed to apologise to Navya and not her father. Why? His behaviour with Navya was also an affront to the Mishra family, he should have apologised to her father abjectly and her father reserves the right to actually beat him up...so is this the pompous and arrogant Bajpayee justice...Moreover shouldnt Baba and Bua Dadi and the entire Bajpayee family apologise to the Mishras for jumping to conclusions, assuming that Navya was at fault and threatening to call off the wedding till Navya apologises...in this process that Chachi cast all sorts of aspersions on Navya's character...shouldnt she have to apologise for that...and I am surprised that the Mishras reassured their daughter that this was a good sign and constituted a good beginning to her entry into the Mishra family...shouldn't they have been a little bit more worried about the way the Bajpayee family continues to regard Navya as a girl of slightly loose morals for falling in love before marriage...I am actually surprised that this prejudice doesnt come up more often. Of course, the Bajpayees did give it as their reason for refusing the Mishra proposal initially...but since then nobody has brought it up and the Mishras and Navya have had to hear about this prejudice for the first time just before the wedding...I had a love marriage but I know that my extended family including my mother actually have strong reservations about girls going out with boys before marriage and would regard such a girl to be of loose morals...pardon the slightly cliched usage... in anycase my point being that the Mishras should not have been happy about the way things happened and I wish Deepak would develop a spine and bring up all such grievances in front of the Bajpayees...rather than always conceding to them...this is such a typical ladkawala- ladkiwala dynamic about which unfortunately the serial has depicted no nayi soch!

Plus, I had been hoping that the purpose of this track was to enable Anant to see clearly the hypocrisy and false pride of his family and especially his grandfather whom he reveres...it would have been painful for him and would have broken his heart...which might have delayed the SR and broken quite a few hearts in the forum 😉...but would have been good for AnYa in the long run...but now it is not clear how and whether Anant would ever come to know about these happenings

Moreover, it would have been nicely dramatic if Anant had ridden to the rescue and insisted on going ahead with the wedding...it would have definitely shocked the Bajpayees and satisfied our rebellious hearts but maybe the CVs are storing all that for another day...

and finally hoping and praying that Star Plus finally gets its act together and we keep watching Navya happily for a long time to come...

I have not watched the epi yet but based on the write up I was too not happy that why has it been shown in this show that the girl's side is always wrong.

Why UB with his pravarchans did not listen to both sides before making a decision?. Why did he blindly beleive Rukmini and her drunko son?.

So my next concern is that will Navya forever have a prob in that house coz hers was love marriage.

Is love marriage such a taboo in our culture? Is falling in love the root cause of all evils for Navya?. Does it not take 2 to tango?. If Navya has done ghor paap and fell in love, then does it not reason out that Anant too is at fault.

Sad na that these kind of people still exist in real life.

Agree with you Mrids. Everytime one feels like telling Navya not to marry into such a family...but I suppose the serial will try to show how she wins their hearts but I really really hope that they show how she checks them and points out the issues in the way they think, act and live. A very tall order, isnt it! Very difficult to imagine...from our Navya who thinks that elders are always right but maybe that is because she is not yet exposed to elders like the Bajpayees, her parents in comparison are fairly reasonable and approachable...

yes, Isha. It is extremely unfair that the girl is expected to bear the social stigma for falling in love premarriage and even for pre-marital sex whereas boys are not blamed at all for the same things. This is the same culture which expects to girl to be a virgin in the marriage bed whereas the same is not essential for the boy/man..😡
