Thank you all for sharing you views.
While watching the show, we become so attached to the characters that we sometimes lose our rationality. That is very natural isn't it? Our love overpowers our reason.
Yet we also have to keep in mind the fact that a vast majority of India live in small towns and villages. Their perspective towards life is different from the modern urban population.
Nayi soch ka matlab hai kisi bhi cheez ko ek nayi nazarien se dekhna aur janna.
All traditions are not bad and again all urban influences are not to be shunned.
Har koi is serial se kuch na kuch jaroor seekh sakta hai. Par agar hum ek negative approach se dekhe to kabhi bhi kuch seekh nahi payenge.
Love to all forum members and no offence meant. This is entirely my point of view.

Very nice post roomni 👏, i was able to relate the points in ur post to my real life. Especially the line,

Yet, I know many conservative, orthodox families where the rules are different. Girls who are good in their studies are forced to get married while graduating. Agreed that the numbers are few but let me tell you they do exist.

This is exactly true, one of my neighbour pursuing her 1st year college (she is 19) has been forced by her parents to marry a 28 year old man. She belongs to orthodox family. I felt sad for her and i decided to have a word with her parents. But they are not ready to listen to me as this decision was taken by the girl's Dadi n grandfather. From her sasural side, they have asked her to continue the graduation after marriage.

Yet we also have to keep in mind the fact that a vast majority of India live in small towns and villages. Their perspective towards life is different from the modern urban population.

Very true

Completely agree with your POV and having married young myself, totally understand the situation and the challenges. This show is so close to the real world unlike some of the others with higher TRP's and their over the top drama.

Thank you once again to everyone for the wonderful discussion thread!
We sometimes feel marriage means losing out on so many things. But sometimes, when we have to give in to our families wishes, we have very little choice. So I have seen girls who are forced to give in to their parents wishes, but with the help of a supportive husband and family, they have been able to realize their dreams.

So the story now is at an important turning point.
From Amar sir's perspective marriage can be an obstacle to Navya's career and by getting married at this stage she will close all doors.
The fans of Anant and Navya want them to get married because they want them to be together always. So many feel that Amar Sir is a thorn in Anant and Navya's romance.
Let us not forget that Anant and Navya love each other so whatever decision they take will be born out of this love. Tue love is never selfish, so both of them will find out ways and means to support each other and help each other grow.
So let us simply sit back and enjoy the serial.
