Navya and Anant sneak out!

Author's Note: I'd rate this Chapter PG 13. There's a scene later on where Navya and Anant get rather intimate. I'd advise the younger readers to PM me, and I'll be glad to send them a censored version of this chapter. (Hall where the Sangeet is taking place, Kanpur)

"Tu paagal hai kya? In sab ke saamne tu chat pe kaise jaayegi? Agar kisi ne tere baare mein poocha toh?" asked Renu in disbelief.

"Di, aap kuch bhi karo, leking mujhe Anant se milna hi hai! Aap please meri help karo!" replied Navya, pleading and eyes shining with unshed tears.

Renuka absolutely could not see her sister in tears, even though Navya was prone to crying for every small thing. She knew how much Navya and Anant loved each other, which compelled her to want to help the couple.

"Theek hai. Lekin sirf is baar! Iske baad, kuch nahi! Accha, usne tujhe chat pe bulaya hai? Hmmm...tu ek kaam kar. Tu ab aise naatak kar ki teri tabiyat theek nahi hai, aur tujhe ghar jaana hai. Main maa ko keh doongi ki main tujhe ghar chod rahi hoon. Usse pehle, main Anant se jaake milti hoon chat pe, aur poochti hoon ki tum dono yahaan se bahaar kaha pe mil sakte ho. Theek hai? Ab tu kahi pe jaake baith jaa, aur aisa behave kar ki tujhe theek nahi lag raha hai." said Renu, as she cooked up a plan in her head to let her sister meet her boyfriend,.

"Thank you so much Di! You're the best!" gushed Navya as she hugged her sister tightly, and proceeded to do as her sister said.

(Terrace of the Hall, Kanpur)

Anant was waiting restlessly for Navya, as he knew she'd come to meet him. He knew she'd missed him as much as he'd missed her over the past few days or so. Meeting her, and dancing with her in this wedding was the best thing that could have happened to him so far! He shuddered at the thought that he wanted to cancel coming to the wedding!

Renuka walked up to the terrace, hoping that no one was looking for her downstairs. The things she had to do for her sister! But on reaching the terrace, she couldn't find Anant as it was really dark, and she didn't know where to look. She was shocked as someone grabbed her from behind and hugged her, while at that same time the lights switched on themselves.

Anant, who'd planned to surprise Navya by grabbing her the moment she came in, was shocked to realise that instead of Navya, he'd grabbed her sister! He hastily left her, went back and started blushing profusely.

"Ma'am! Aap! I'm so sorry! Mujhe laga ki Navya aayi hai!" blubbered Anant as he tried to cover up his embarrassment.

Renuka burst out laughing as she said, "Anant, main nahi jaanti thi ki tum Navi ko itna miss kar rahe the, ki tum uske bina itni der bhi nahi reh sakte the! Main toh tumhe Navya se milane hi aa rahi thi!"

"I'm so sorry Ma'am!" replied Anant, feeling extremely shy.

"Yeh Ma'am ka chakkar ab chod do! Main Navya ki Di hoon, matlab tumhari bhi Di hoon. Accha, ab meri baat suno. Tum dono ka yahaan milna khatre se khali nahi hai. Isiliye, tum abhi koi bahaana kar ke apne ghar waalo ko keh do ki tum ghar jaa rahe ho. Yahaan paas mein hi ek hotel hai, tum uske restaurant mein jaao, aur wahaan tum dono mil lo. Main Navi ko wahaan tak chodti hoon. Tum us se hotel ke entrance ke pass milna.Aur jab mujhe lagega ki yahaan sab khatam hone waala hai, toh main Navya ko call kar doongi, toh tum dono wahaan se nikal lo. Theek hai?" said Renu, as she explained him her elaborate plan.

"Thank you so much Ma'am! I mean, Di!" replied Anant in glee, as he ran down to do the same.

Renu shook her head and smiled to herself, thinking that Navya was very lucky to get a guy who was head over heels in love with her as she too walked downstairs.

(Hall where the Sangeet is taking place, Kanpur)

Navya was doing a fine impression of acting sick, so much so that Meeta herself was trying to make her go. But till Renu didn't come down and take Navya, she didn't say a word, and kept refusing all attempts to let Meeta drop her. At the same time, Renu arrived and approached them.

"Kya hua Maa? Wahaan sab aapko dhoondh rahe hain. Chaliye naa!"

"Renu dekh naa? Navya ka chehra itna utra hua hai, aur use sir dard bhi hai! Main keh rahi hoon ki uske papa use ghar chod denge, lekin yeh maan hi nahi rahi hai!" said Meeta in worry.

"Accha? Aap ek kaam keejeeye, aap wahaan jaaiye. Main Navi ko ghar chodti hoon. Aapki aur Papa ki yahaan pe zaroorat padh sakti hai. Main hi chodti hoon naa! Vaise bhi Gudiya toh Gautam ke saath hai." said Renuka, hoping her mother would fall for her bluff.

"Haan yeh sahi hai. Navya, koi bahaana nahi. Renu ke saath abhi nikal." said Meeta sternly, as she walked away from there.

Renu and Navya shared a look, as they burst out laughing and hugged each other. As they were doing so, Renuka noticed Anant walking outside. She beckoned Navya to follow her as she took her outside to drop her to the hotel.

(Outside the hotel, in Renuka's car)

"Navi sun. Anant tera darwaaze ke paas khada hai, tu uske saath restaurant mein jaa. Lekin dhyaan se, koi tum dono ko pehchaan na le, theek hai?"

"Thank you, Thank you, Thank you sooo much Di!" gushed Navya happily.

"Haan yeh thanks baad mein bolna! Ab jaao! Tum dono ke paas zyaada time nahi hai!"

Navya beamed as she hugged Renu and walked out of the car. She walked into the hotel and met Anant, who was waiting at the door for her. They turned and waved to Renuka, who turned the car and left.

"Chaliye Ma'am, is taraf!" said Anant happily, as he led her towards the lifts.

Navya walked happily with him, savouring the moment, till she realised she had just passed the restaurant. She looked at Anant in shock and asked him.

"Anant, restaurant toh wahaan tha naa? Hum kahaan jaa rahe hain?"

Anant pulled out a room key (smart card) with a flourish, and indicated that they were to go up to a room to meet.

"Anant! Paagal ho kya? Main tumhare saath ek kamre mein nahi jaa rahi hoon!" said Navya in fear.

"Itna bhi bharosa nahi hai mujh par? Chalo naa Navya, humare paas time nahi hai! Aur tum yeh kyun nahi sochti, ki restaurant mein humein koi bhi dekh lega! Kamre mein hum dono akele honge!" replied Anant.

"Tumhare saath akeli, ek kamre mein? Tum zaroor kuch badmaashi karoge!"

"Promise karta hoon Ma'am, koi badmaashi nahi hogi! Bas apni Navya ke saath dher saari baatein karoonga! Ab toh chalein?"

Navya realised that she did love him and trust him a lot. With this trust, she decided to what he said, and followed him into the lift.

(Hotel Room, Kanpur)

The moment Anant entered the room behind Navya and switched on the lights, he shut the door and grabbed her from behind, hugging her so tightly, as if his life depended on it. Navya too, didn't say anything as she hugged him equally tightly. Both stayed in that pose for the next five minutes or so, until Navya gently pulled herself back.

Anant, who was dying to be with her and talk to her, was having nothing of that. With his arm around her, he pulled her to the bed and made her sit on it, and he himself lied down on it, while resting his head on Navya's lap, and pulled her hand around his head.

"Maine kahaan tha naa ki tum badmaashi karoge!" said Navya with a laugh.

"Haan toh? Agar tumhare saath nahi karoonga, toh kiske saath badmaashi karoonga? Waise bhi, tumse baat nahi ki naa, toh theek se neend nahi aa rahi thi. Ab aise tumhare god mein toh aaram ki neend aa jaayegi!"

"Tum paagal ho Anant! Bilkul paagal! Aur isiliye toh main tumse itna pyaar karti hoon!" said Navya, while laughing at Anant's antics.

"Phir se kaho?" said Anant in glee.

"Haan main tumse bahut, bahut pyaar karti hoon!"

Anant snuggled closer to Navya, and buried his face into her stomach, as Navya began to caress his hair.

"Tum nahi jaanti Navya, in kuch dino mein maine tumhe kitna miss kiya. Har pal tumhari yaadon mein khoya rehta tha, har pal tumse milne ke liye, tumhari aawaz sun ne ke liye tadap raha tha."

"Tumhe kya lagta hai Anant, main yahaan pe khush thi? Pehle toh tumse baat nahi kar paa rahi thi, isiliye mari jaa rahi thi. Upar se tayeejee mujhse aur dadi se itna kaam karva rahi hai! Mujhse agar voh kam karvaaye toh theek hai, lekin dadi se! Papa bhi dekh ke bahut gusse mein the!"

"Auntyjee ne tumse kuch kahaan toh nahi naa? Humaare baare mein?" asked Anant rather worriedly.

"Nahi. Shaayad unhe lagta hai ki main tumhe bhool gayi hoon." said Navya, as a tear escaped her eye, and fell on Anant's hand. Anant sat up in shock.

"Kya hua Navya?"

"Maa kyun nahi samajhti humko Anant? Main tumhare bina nahi reh sakti! Mujhe yeh bilkul accha nahi lagta ki unse jhooth bol kar main yahaan tumse mil rahi hoon. Kyun nahi ho sakta ki hum dono sab ke saamne mil kar baat kar paaye? Kyun Anant? Humne aisa kya kiya hai?" said Navya, as she began to sob.

Anant didn't say anything as he pulled her into a hug, and began rubbing her back. He whispered words of comfort into her ears, assuring her that he'd make everything alright.

"Shh Navya, main aa gaya hoon naa? Ab sab theek kar doonga. Mujhpe bharosa hai naa? Toh ab shush!"

Finally, after around 10 minutes, Navya calmed down enough to stop crying. She pulled away from Anant, and was horrified to realise that his sherwani was drenched with her tears. She burst out laughing at the fact, a sight which warmed Anant's heart, who joined her in laughing.

As she continued to laugh, a tear slipped her eye. This did not go unnoticed by Anant, who kissed away the tear. Navya stopped laughing, as she looked at him questioningly.

"Main tumhare saath hoon naa? Toh tumhe rone ki koi zaroorat nahi hai Ma'am!" said Anant with a smile on his face.

Navya smiled back as she said. "Vaada karte ho naa, ki tum mujhe rone nahi doge?"

"Promise? Ab kuch zyaada ho raha hai! Tum har choti baat pe roti ho! Agar kal tumse roti gol nahi bani, aur tum rone lag gayi, toh usme main toh kuch kar nahi sakta naa?" said Anant teasingly, with a wicked glint in his eye.

"Anant! Tumhe toh main nahi chodoongi!" said Navya, as she picked up the pillow next to her to hit him. Anant too, picked up another pillow, as they stood up on the bed and began to hit each other and mock each other in fun.

During this pillow fight, Anant suddenly lost his balance and fell on Navya, and they both fell with a crash on the bed. Both burst out laughing at this, and didn't stop as they mumbled incoherently and laughed their hearts out.

Almost at the same time, it struck both Navya and Anant that Anant was on top of Navya, and both their bodies were stuck to each other. Both stopped laughing rather abruptly, and Anant began to stare at Navya, with fire in his eyes. Navya, realising this, turned her face away from him, as a pretty blush began to stain her cheeks.

"Aaj raat, tum us hall mein dulhan se bhi zyaada khoobsoorat dikh rahi thi. Tumhe toh lock up mein band kar dena chahiye." said Anant huskily.

"Kyun?" replied Navya rather shyly.

"Itna khoobsoorat lagna, it's a criminal offense! Main toh dekh ke behosh hone waala tha!" replied Anant.

Navya giggled, and turned her face even more to the side, as the blush intensified.

Anant, who couldn't control himself any longer, turned Navya's face so it was facing him and stared at her, drinking in her beauty. Navya, who was too embarrassed and shy, turned her eyes away as she couldn't see him stare at her with so much fire in his eyes.

Anant then closed his eyes, and kissed her cheek. He looked at Navya to see how she was reacting, and when he saw her eyes closed, and a light smile on her lips, he bent down again to kiss her cheeks. But this time, he didn't stop. He continued to kiss her all over her face and neck, at the same time whispering to her how much he loved her and had missed her. Navya's hands wound tightly in his hair, as she turned her face away, allowing him better access to her neck.

Anant opened his eyes, and stared at Navya for a long time, wondering to himself how was he so lucky to have gotten himself such a beautiful and wonderful girl. He turned her face to face him again, closed his eyes and bent down, about to kiss her lips, when suddenly, Navya's phone rang.

Navya opened her eyes in horror, and was shaken out of her stupor, as she looked up at Anant, who mirrored her expression. Anant literally jumped off her, as Navya sat up, and picked up her phone with trembling hands.

*PHONE CALL*

"Navya, yahaan pe sab 15-20 minute mein nikalne waale hain. Tu please abhi wahaan se nikal jaa, theek hai?" said Renuka.

"Theek hai Di." said Navya, as she hung up.

*PHONE CALL ENDS*

"Anant?" said Navya, as Anant was looking out of the window. He turned, but refused to meet her eyes as he asked her, "Nikle?"

Navya found her duppatta in the corner of the bed and put it on, as Anant had pulled it off while kissing her. She looked into the mirror, straightened her messed up hair, and looked at Anant to leave. He was about to leave the room without saying a thing, but before he could do so, she held his hand and stopped him. Anant looked at her questioningly, as she stood on her toes and fixed up his tousled hair. She then hugged him tightly, and Anant too hugged her back, albeit rather hesitatingly.

"Thank you Anant. Aaj raat, meri zindagi ki sabse khoobsoorat raat thi." said Navya, not letting go of Anant.

"Tum...tum mujhse gussa nahi ho?" asked Anant in shock.

Navya pulled away from him in surprise.

"Kyun?"

"Abhi..jo humare beech..mujhe pata nahi mujhe kya hua! Main tumhe itna miss kar raha tha, ki main bina soche samjhe.." said Anant, leaving his sentence hanging in mid-air.

Navya reached up, kissed his cheek and hugged him back.

"Mujhe bura nahi laga. Main tumse pyaar karti hoon Anant, aur tumhare saath poori zindagi bitana chahti hoon. Main sirf aur sirf tumhari hoon, aur tumhara mujhpe poora hak banta hai. Aur main tumpe bharosa karti hoon, ki tum kuch aisa nahi karoge, jis se hum dono ko, aur humare parivaar ko dukh ho." said Navya with a smile.

Anant pulled Navya even closer, as he kissed her on her head, wondering to himself what had he done to deserve such a sweet and understanding girl.

"Thank you Navya. Main tumhare is bharose ko kabhi tootne nahi doonga." said Anant, as he let her go.

With that, both of them left the room, while holding each other's hands, a smile on their faces.
